History

ALLRAIL was founded in Brussels (Belgium) in 2017^[2]. The association is part of the official Group of Representative Bodies of the railway sector within the European Union^[3].

Activity

As a lobby, ALLRAIL promotes the interests of its members with the institutions of the European Union and national institutions of the member states, Norway and Switzerland. More specifically, ALLRAIL advocates for a faster opening of the passenger rail transport market in Europe, in order to facilitate the entry of private and independent railway companies^[4]
