Why is the PlayStation 3 not listed here? --164.107.92.120 17:08, 27 November 2006 (UTC)
- The FC Twin Video Game System that plays both NES and SNES games needs to be in this category as well for obvious reasons. --164.107.92.120 17:48, 28 November 2006 (UTC)

- Should Xbox 360 hardware, and to a lesser extent Wii, be listed? First of all, the Xbox 360 doesn't have real backwards compatibility per se, as it uses software emulation. Therefore while you can argue that the Xbox 360 has backwards compatibility, the hardware certainly doesn't. And the Wii simply has you download the games and play them back via emulation as well.(Myscrnnm 00:46, 18 September 2007 (UTC))
- The Wii hardware is backward-compatible with GameCube. Sw2k7 (talk) 15:59, 29 April 2009 (UTC)

CD32
[edit]Does the Amiga CD32 count? It could play most Commodore CDTV titles. Suddenly There Is a Valley (talk) 20:46, 6 February 2015 (UTC)
Xbox One
[edit]Yesterday at E3, during the conference, the company announced they would support reverse compatibility with Xbox 360 games. Please, make the change. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2604:6000:1108:6049:6415:7CE:FD43:7BC0 (talk) 22:58, 16 June 2015 (UTC)
