The 1892 Georgia gubernatorial election was held on 5 October 1892 in order to elect the Governor of Georgia. Democratic nominee and incumbent Governor William J. Northen defeated People's Party nominee W. L. Peck.[1]
General election
[edit]On election day, 5 October 1892, Democratic nominee William J. Northen won re-election with a margin of 68,450 votes against his opponent People's Party nominee W. L. Peck, thereby holding Democratic control over the office of Governor. Northen was sworn in for his second term on 27 October 1892.[2]
