Channels Tv
[edit]Hello Princess of Ara, I couldn't locate Channels TV in the list. Why? --Comr Melody Idoghor (talk) 15:42, 7 October 2021 (UTC)
- The list is non-exhaustive. You can definitely add it. People (including myself) tend to priotise new media organizations (reliable sources with strong online presence) over television stations, but Channels can certainly be included.HandsomeBoy (talk) 15:49, 7 October 2021 (UTC)
- @HandsomeBoy: Noted sir. Thanks --Comr Melody Idoghor (talk) 15:52, 7 October 2021 (UTC)
- Thank you for the response captain @HandsomeBoy! @Idoghor Melody, like our coordinator said, you're welcome to be bold and add to the list. The talk page is always open to discuss other sources of uncertain reliability. Cheers!.

Is soccerhub.com.ng reliable?
[edit]I found out that the site is popular among football fans, is it reliable, can someone confirm? Oloriebi 16:46, 26 April 2022 (UTC)
- Hello @Oloriebi234, apologies for the late response. I just saw this. I wouldn't consider it to be a reliable source since it is largely written by only one contributor and it does not seem to have editorial oveersight. Princess of Ara 06:09, 13 May 2022 (UTC)
Arise?
[edit]I came across Arise News and wondered if they should be added. Here's their about page. Mujinga (talk) 14:56, 25 September 2022 (UTC)
- Mujinga, Yes. It is reliable. Best, Reading Beans (talk) 20:20, 18 October 2022 (UTC)
The Nigerian Observer and Prime 9ja Online isn't reliable?
[edit]I was wondering if The Nigerian Observer and Prime 9ja Online are not reliable sources (I could not find them on the list). I think they are reputable, both are based in Edo State, the former is both print & online and the latter is online-only.
Courtesy ping to @Reading Beans [one of my mentors :)] Vanderwaalforces (talk) 12:14, 20 August 2023 (UTC)
- @Vanderwaalforces, to be honest, I am leaning towards nominating Prime 9ja Online for deletion. But, I'll hold my horses (perhaps Princess of Ara or anyone else could) and wait; so, I would not consider adding Prime 9ja Online to the list unless a consensus is reached. The Nigerian Observer is reliable, so, you can add it to the list. Best, Reading Beans (talk) 15:45, 20 August 2023 (UTC)
- @Reading Beans Okay, thanks! Vanderwaalforces (talk) 15:48, 20 August 2023 (UTC)
Daily Nigerian and The Whistler NG
[edit]i was thinking of adding Daily Nigerian and The Whistler. I know daily Nigerian is reliable. What of The Whistler. Editing Wizard (talk) 11:26, 21 October 2023 (UTC)
- In my opinion, The Whistler is a referencable source.HandsomeBoy (talk) 20:52, 26 July 2024 (UTC)
Vanguard
[edit]Given the RSN discussions on Vanguard being closed with consensus for marginal reliability, would it be all right to adjust the entry for Vanguard here? Thanks. VickKiang (talk) 00:47, 23 October 2023 (UTC)
Advertorials
[edit]At what point do we sit down and have a realistic conversation about all the advertorials that some of these supposed 'reliable sources' are pumping out, and are being used to defend pages in AFD? Specifically Pulse, Vanguard, and The Nation. Nswix (talk) 18:15, 16 December 2023 (UTC)
- This is a tricky one that could have unintended consequences in the long-run.HandsomeBoy (talk) 20:54, 26 July 2024 (UTC)
Discussion at RSN involving Nigeria sources
[edit]There is a discussion on the Reliable Sources Noticeboard regarding some Nigeria sources that could be of interest. -- LCU ActivelyDisinterested «@» °∆t° 20:45, 26 July 2024 (UTC)
