- My old username, Saurabhsaha, was included in the list, but I recently changed my username to Aryan. Therefore, I would like my new username to be added in place of the old one. Thank you. Aryan (talk) 17:06, 28 October 2024 (UTC)

- Hello! Hoping to help get the backlog down. I've made a fair few articles from scratch, and more from redirects (We Make You, Always Yours (album), Very Nice) as some examples. I mainly work over on the K-pop side of things but my interests are pretty broad and I am happy to read up on most things. orangesclub 🍊 09:23, 2 October 2024 (UTC)

- PhoenixCaelestis (talk · contribs · xtools · pages created · logs (block • csd • prod) · afd)
- I believe I meet all of the requirements listed, especially the edit count one. While I do not have prior experience in other Wikiprojects, I do understand the criteria in which an article should be deleted. I'm online pretty much every day I can be, and I both seek help when I need it and try and help others who are seeking help. I may not be the most experienced person in this submission list, but I feel I have the credentials to be ready to take on this role. Thank you! -Erin (PhoenixCaelestis) (talk) 20:17, 2 October 2024 (UTC)

- Not done, while blocks are not necessarily a posted requirement, edit warring in a CTOP area is a big red flag for me; you were just blocked a couple of weeks ago for it. Primefac (talk) 13:58, 6 October 2024 (UTC)
- Josedimaria (talk · contribs · xtools · pages created · logs (block • csd • prod) · afd)
- I would like to be an article reviewer especially on football related articles and African articles. I would mainly focus on rewriting articles submitted for review which have been declined for poor referencing, wording or outlining. Thanks. Jõséhola 07:10, 3 October 2024 (UTC)

- I am requesting AFC helper script rights as I have been an active Wikipedia user for the past two years, during which I have gained significant experience in editing and contributing to the platform. I am eager to assist in reviewing articles submitted through the Articles for Creation process, ensuring they meet Wikipedia's notability and content standards. - Hello,
I am editing wikipedia since last 8 months, I am very much interested to be a part of AFC Reviewers'. I'd like to contribute at wikipedia by reviewing AFC Submissions, editing articles, and finding citations for articles, for betterment of Wikipedia! Super Dud (talk) 14:30, 15 October 2024 (UTC)
- Not done. Please get more experience. This is the third time in essentially two months that you have applied (since you took a long break between July and October), and while you have made more article-space edits, we really need to see more activity in the "backend" side of things, be it AFD, CSD, or other administrative (not WP:Administrator btw) areas. Primefac (talk) 12:39, 20 October 2024 (UTC)
- Reason for requesting afc helper script rights is to help clear the backlog of AFC articles. I have been a editor for some years and focus on the Finance & Investment space. Sargdub (talk) 03:02, 16 October 2024 (UTC)

- I wish to help with reviewing new articles not only to gain more experience of the site and its processes, but also to help with the backlog of new pages that are submitted via AfC and contribute more to the Wikipedia community. I have familiarized myself with the relevant AfC policies, and I have participated in over 200 AfD discussions before (And have had an overall match rate of 78% in the past year, with a slightly higher lifetime match rate of 81%), created several articles, and have helped to improve over thirty articles to GA status (With several nominations currently active), so I have experience with the bulk of relevant policies. I meet the other major criteria, including edit count and age. Has one ever considered Magneton? Pokelego999 (talk) 15:25, 23 October 2024 (UTC)

- Not done for now; you do meet the minimum numerical requirements but I'm not seeing any major experience with XfD or other "administrative" areas related to article content; the majority of your edits are reverting problematic edits (which is good!) but doesn't really help show what we're looking for. Primefac (talk) 18:03, 27 October 2024 (UTC)
- XfD is articles for deletion if I am right? I do a bit of Speedy Deletion but does that count? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Cooldudeseven7 join in on the tea talk 11:11, 28 October 2024 (UTC)
- What are other "administrative" areas I should work on? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Cooldudeseven7 join in on the tea talk 11:11, 28 October 2024 (UTC)
- WP:XFD is the term for "deletion related venues", such as articles, templates, etc. CSD experience is good to show (and I would suggest utilizing Twinkle's CSD logs for recording them). Basically we want to see that you know what to look for when it comes to appropriate article content. Primefac (talk) 18:34, 28 October 2024 (UTC)
- So, are you suggesting I work on XFD or CSD? Thanks, ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Cooldudeseven7 join in on the tea talk 11:28, 29 October 2024 (UTC)
- Either. Both. AfD is going to be the most helpful, since the basic bar at AfC is "do I think this would survive a deletion discussion". -- asilvering (talk) 11:30, 29 October 2024 (UTC)
- Alright. Where do you think I should start? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Cooldudeseven7 join in on the tea talk 11:33, 29 October 2024 (UTC)
- Wikipedia:Articles for deletion § Current and past articles for deletion (AfD) discussions has lists of all current AFDs. If you have an interest in a particular subject, there are various Article alerts for specific WikiProjects. For example, I follow the Astronomy WikiProject, and they have AFDs related to the project at Wikipedia:WikiProject_Astronomy#Article_alerts. Primefac (talk) 16:51, 29 October 2024 (UTC)

- If you're just starting out, participation is probably easiest. If as you are editing Wikipedia (doing vandal patrol or just viewing things) and you think you see an article that should be deleted, you are welcome to nominate it. Primefac (talk) 19:12, 29 October 2024 (UTC)

- Reason for requesting afc helper script rights: I am interested in technology, basic science, public health, global health, global health diplomacy, foreign policy, public policy and science and technology. I am also interested in African history and history of science and look forward to editing and updating Wikipedia posts in these areas. I also enjoy copy editing articles and adding research on Wikipedia. Trex32 (talk) 22:24, 25 October 2024 (UTC)
- Not done for now, largely for the same reasons as Cooldudeseven7 above; you meet the numerical requirements but don't have a lot of experience in the article creation/administrative side of things. - Kia ora, I'm keen to assist with AfC. I have been editing for some time, and in particular I have some experience at AfD. I'm keen to get involved with the goal of assisting promising new articles to make it to mainspace, and to support new editors to have a positive experience with creating new articles. - Hi!
I meet all the minimum requirements. In addition, I think I have a strong understanding of the policies surrounding article creation with 12 CSD requests (100% match rate), 35 AfD Votes (100% match rate) as well as reviewing 15 cases on CopyPatrol, catching 4 copyvios.
I've also made 4 articles myself, all of which are undeleted and 3 of which are "B" class, along with numerous redirects.
I'm also always friendly towards new users, and very active in the IRC help channel, and (less so) on the Teahouse.
Thanks for your time in considering me! MolecularPilot 02:11, 5 November 2024 (UTC)
- Also just an FYI that the cave draft that shows up under "pages created" above isn't mine, I made it on behalf of an IRC user who needed help getting their sandbox content into a draft. Thanks! :) MolecularPilot 09:09, 5 November 2024 (UTC)

- I am requesting afc helper script rights as I have been an active Wikipedia contributor for the past five years, consistently working to combat vandalism. I would like to expand my role to ensure that newly created pages are well-guided, meet all the necessary criteria, and are developed into stand-alone, independent articles that adhere to Wikipedia's standards.--— MimsMENTOR talk 08:14, 6 November 2024 (UTC)
- I would like to help out with the backlog. Zuck28 (talk) 11:31, 10 November 2024 (UTC)
- Not done for now; you have spent the majority of the last six months blocked for alleged sockpuppetry and/or COI/UPE. While the former has been cleared up the unblocking admin was still concerned about possible COI/UPE issues and AFC is one of the most vulnerable areas to this sort of editing. We will need to see a few months of consistent positive editing before reapplication. Primefac (talk) 12:36, 10 November 2024 (UTC)
