Red link in source of data

User:Blnguyen (206) changed his name to User:YellowMonkey before retiring in 2010 in the aftermath of Wikipedia:Requests for comment/YellowMonkey which is perfectly OK, but shouldn't we follow a general rule of thumb that DYK confirmation links remain working if the update is to be upheld? YellowMonkey also deleted his page User:Blnguyen/DYK. Thanks, Poeticbent talk 14:20, 22 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

- Good thinking, evrik. I remember Yellow Monkey all too well. Let’s just say De mortuis nil nisi bonum. I take your point about the confirmation links and I see no harm in taking names out of the list once those are gone. Adding myself

I have 28 DYKs. The majority of them I created/got to GA and then nominated myself, but one or two were created by somebody else and I was a co-nom for doing work on the article. I understand that most users just list themselves here, but I want to get it straight first. Do I list myself in creations/expansions with all 28, or in noms with the number I nominated myself? Adding myself

Hey, I found out that I qualify! User:Adityavagarwal/DYK Here, it could be seen that I have 25 DYK articles. One might only see 24 because the Philippine cuckoo-dove and ruddy cuckoo-dove were together, although due to some bot error at the time, the credit was only given for the Philippine cuckoo-dove and not the ruddy cuckoo-dove.
