Welcome to the Sega task force of WikiProject Video games on the English Wikipedia. We are a group dedicated to creating and improving Wikipedia's coverage of topics related to Sega. This page and its subpages contain their suggestions; For more information on task forces, please see WP:TASKFORCE; it is hoped that this task force will help to focus the efforts of other Wikipedians. If you would like to help, please inquire on the talk page and see the to-do list. If you'd like to join in, just add your name to the members list below, or at our official members list at WP:SEGA/M.

Scope

This task force supports all articles that cover anything that Sega designed or produced. Additional titles or series can be easily added to this task force's scope by agreement on the talk page, and all currently covered articles can be seen in this project's category page.

The majority of these articles are video games, but include character biographies, character lists, soundtracks, living people biographies, manga, films, television shows, and more. The Sega task force attempts to standardize the content and format of data in said articles. In addition, this task force aims to provide editing assistance and support for Sega-related articles.

Goals

Our main goals are to:

  • organize all Sega-related articles through the usage of templates, categories, and stubs.
  • improve on Sega-related articles to higher qualities and to good and featured article status.
  • create new articles relating to Sega, as long as they are encyclopedic and adhere to Wikipedia policies.
