- The Ingrian categorization frenzy continues unabated. Now we have Category:Castles in Ingria and Category:Fortresses in Ingria, which are categorized as part of Category:Castles by country (as if Ingria is, or used to be, a separate state). Seems like we have to face a large-scale invasion by an obscure group of chauvinists. --Ghirla -трёп- 16:18, 13 September 2006 (UTC)

- By the way, shouldn't we merge Category:Ingria and Category:Leningrad Oblast? --Ghirla -трёп- 14:11, 13 September 2006 (UTC)
- I disagree. Category:Ingria contains articles about subjects and people that existed long before the Leningrad Oblast was formed, or its present Russian population moved to the central and western parts of the Oblast. I have however made Ingria a subcategory of Leningrad Oblast. -- Petri Krohn 02:13, 14 September 2006 (UTC)
