- The Overcoat (animated film) - the legendary animated feature being worked on by Yuriy Norshteyn since 1981. The handling of references may be a touch unorthodox, but I wanted to make sure that I could link to the same reference more than once for different facts. I had to sift through tons of different sources. Anyone who has some knowledge that I missed - please help (especially the exact details of Norshteyn's exit from Soyuzmultfilm in the 1980s). Oh, and this would be a good article to translate into Russian. I'd do it, but lack a cyrillic keyboard... Esn 04:27, 21 October 2006 (UTC)
- I changed the references into the standard referencing system using the MediaWiki software. Apparently Esn is not happy with that. So much for trying to help. Errabee 13:07, 21 October 2006 (UTC)
- Please see your talk page... I simply thought that there was more than one acceptable referencing system and that another would've been more usefull to readers of the article. I may be wrong about the first part, and I'm sorry about posting the article here - I should have tried to look carefully through WP:Reference myself first. Esn 01:15, 22 October 2006 (UTC)

- User:DVD R W/Скала Парус I have started translating this from ru:Скала Парус but need some help if anyone is interested. The author ru:Участник:Serguei S. Dukachev asked me to wait a week, while he adds some things, so I am keeping it in my userspace for now. I am also unsure of the name in English, Skala Parus, Parus Rock, or Sail Rock? Feel free to edit it in my userspace, as I will move it properly, retaining the GFDL history of revisions. I also need help finding a paper source or two. DVD+ R/W 01:36, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
- This is one of those cases when there is no established English name—whatever name you use is going to be virtually unknown in the West. I would recommend "Sail Rock", because, all else being equal, it's English and other variants are not. Of course, all other variants are to be mentioned in the article and appropriate redirects are to be created.—Ëzhiki (Igels Hérissonovich Ïzhakoff-Amursky) • (yo?); 14:19, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

- Someone moved a number of articles about Russian battles from different periods into a single Category:Naval battles of the Russo-Turkish War. Which one, I'd like to ask.
