I'll do some editing on this page as time allows.
Right now, it suffices to say that I was born in Tehran, Iran. I have mixed Persian (father side), Gilak and Don Cossack (mother side) heritage.
I am currently a professor of economics, teaching mainly econometrics and finance at East Carolina University. I have degrees in economics and statistics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Illinois State University, and Beheshti University (National University of Iran).
Politically, I lean toward Classical liberalism.
