Dear Wikipedian's
I would like to request assistance from the community in regards to the wiki page for the foundation i am posting on behalf of. This is our first posting and while i have a basic understanding of the rules on wiki, i am un-qualified to make the necessary reviews needed and thus iam hoping various contributor are able to assist.
Our aim or mines in not to publish a complete page but at least have a basic/fair/factorial page up to that we can invite volunteers within our community to edit on our behalf. especially thos that have in the past contributed before on Wiki pages. But also because at the best to write about what we do and have done in the past and will so in future as well as being the best judge of its note worthiness and inclusion to wiki.
Finally, from my understanding of the recent comments, more 3rd party verification is need and as we not been active on social media that should be resolved after our press release on the week of 5th Oct 2015. But current the links/references is all we have to my knowledge.
If any Wikipedian would like to assist us or myself in creating our page because we are doing some innovative and cool stuff please contact us or myself. We do want to create awareness for our projects but by not mean so we wish to be promotional as our works speaks for themselves and a medium such as wiki the ideal place for interest individuals to learn more about us.
Thank you for your time Wikipedians ALHeroes (talk) 04:34, 27 September 2015 (UTC)ALHeroes ALHeroes (talk) 04:34, 27 September 2015 (UTC)
- Please understand that our rule is for one account to be operated by one and only one individual.
- A press release may generate coverage. Beware, though,, simply quoting media who rehash that press release in a broadly unchanged manner, for that will not work as a reference. Fiddle Faddle 09:21, 27 September 2015 (UTC)

I am finding the language confusing to cite links in footnotes/references. Trying to get them right format is an exhausting process. I have hard copy sources as proof of all footnotes/references, but if they are not available online, then what? Creating a Wikipedia page appears to be for people with computer science knowledge.... been on it for some 7 hours today and not getting anywhere fast. Over to you!
- It is possible, though unlikely, that someone will adopt this draft. Generally, if you want it here then you need to work on it yourself. Help is available, but in answer to specific questions. Please ask with precision for the help you need. You seem to be doing ok so far. Fiddle Faddle 09:19, 27 September 2015 (UTC)
- Hi Calais1984 - As Timtrent said, it is unlikely someone will adopt the article. Wikipedia takes patience, and some computer skill, but not a lot. Don't be afraid to ask questions. And then wait for a response. Wikipedia editors are all volunteers, so it can take a day or two before someone gets back to you. That's where the patience comes in. I've formatted the first two citations in your draft, to give you an example of how to do it. They are both web citations. If there is a book citation, you'd change the "cite web" to "cite book"; a newspaper - "cite news", etc. That's where you can get information from WP:CIT. If you do cite a book or newspaper, remember to include page numbers, you do that by adding | page=xx. Books also require some other information, but you can find that on the link I gave above. Hope this helps. Onel5969 TT me 12:28, 27 September 2015 (UTC)

Hi, I am looking for assistance in understanding the referencing on the page I am creating and how I could improve it to make it acceptable.
I am not certain if it is the sources themselves, the citations or other factors.
Thank you.

- I have left you a more detailed someone on the draft. If this is not as helpful as you hope please ask us again. Fiddle Faddle 10:32, 27 September 2015 (UTC)

I don't understand the term' 'not reliable sources'. I put 5 or 6 published titles at the bottom. As the article deals with an Indian Tradition, most of them are Indian publications, so this is unavoidable. I will go back to the sand box and add numbers in the text to relate to these titles and add in another reference document: a charter, that can be found on a website and deals with the Westernisation of the tradition. 2.96.122.7 (talk) 11:45, 27 September 2015 (UTC)

I am creating the article - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Ohio_River_Water_Trail
I need to add an infobox. The closest template was - Template:Infobox hiking trail - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:Infobox_hiking_trail which does not work as it displays Hiking Details.
I tried to create a Template:Infobox water trail - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:Infobox_water_trail by duplicating the hiking template but recieved the following message - Template loop detected: Template:Infobox water trail
Since the needed correction or edits is beyond my knowledge base, could you complete the Template:Infobox water trail?
Thank you in advance.

- @Troiaeye: You can ask for a new template to be created at Wikipedia:Requested templates. Explain to the volunteers there how it should be like Template:Infobox hiking trail and how it should differ. The pseudo-infobox on Northern Forest Canoe Trail may give you some ideas about what should be included. Worldbruce (talk) 17:17, 27 September 2015 (UTC)
Dear experienced helper,
how can I get my article submitted? Articles on this person exist in Russian and German, I just translated the most of the information from there. I know the artist personally so that information in the article is correct, since he examined it himself. There are international reviews on his performances which approve the notability of the subject and which I included in the article. Since it is a person, which is alive and active as an artist, there are not really many books on his life and arts. Please assist me or submitt the article.
Thank you, best regards

- different WPs have different requirements for sourcing. The ruWP article, for example, would not be acceptable here. Even the deWP, whose content is normally is of a higher standard than the enWP, is briefer in referencing than is customary here. But the material is close enough, and the references support the facts of his career. I've accepted it, though be aware that you will need formal references to reviews to substantiate any claims of excellence. DGG ( talk ) 21:00, 28 September 2015 (UTC)

Hi there! Regarding to my concern on my submitted article draft name: "Draft:Kenneth Earl Medrano", I just want to ask & clarify with it that why is it that many times I've already reviewed my article & submitted, is still not accepted/ rejected by the admins on this site? Is there anything wrong with it? I've already followed all the steps & instructions given regarding the errors that the admins send messages to my talk page and I've already fixed of it the article. I just want to tell all admin in general, that all of these contents on this article that I created are very legal, factual, informative & has a reliable source that all of the texts stated there are true & not by a fiction? For me, is very disappointing. I just want to make assistance of it, why is it wrong? Give me some more clarifications & manifestations with it, since I've already revised anything on my article very accurately. If do so, I'm requesting to make some assistance with it, on how to fixed my article as soon as possible and I'm looking forward to your responses.

- I have left a thought or two on the draft.
- It is not the admins who have pushed your draft back to you, it is ordinary editors, people like you and me. Our role as reviewers is to seek to ensure that an article will not immediately be subject to one of our deletion processes when it is accepted. That is why we push it back to the author. We want to accept articles. This one is proving hard to accept. Fiddle Faddle 18:07, 27 September 2015 (UTC)
