File:EDSA.jpg
I'm requesting the undeletion of File:EDSA.jpg (deleted on 24 November 2016). After analyzing this now-deleted img (analyzed via a screenshot of the file's page that I captured last year and the contribs of its uploader), I am now confident and definite that its author is Docrx, and it belongs to him (using his upload log and contributions list). I admit that I made a mistake of forgetting to put {{Information |description…}} on the file. Despite this, I may need some additional advice/comments over this, though. Thanks. —JWilz12345 (talk) 01:48, 15 July 2017 (UTC)
- Restored, but I'm somewhat uncomfortable with the situation. The file shouldn't have been deleted for lack of source, because the source was indicated in the upload log. However, the source page (see it via the Internet Archive) is a forum where people posted a lot of images (they weren't archived, so I don't know which one it was), and this just isn't the situation where you routinely find images with free licenses. I'm tempted to send this to FFD. Nyttend (talk) 02:15, 15 July 2017 (UTC)
- The file seems to have two versions: one img of EDSA going to Makati by User:Kjbaldio and the other img of EDSA at the intersection of North and West Avenues by User:Docrx (the latter is the one i'm referring to; the restored version is Kjbaldio's). If i'm not mistaken, the former was moved to commons before in Nov. 2011 but was deleted (from Commons page Overwritten file (this version was sourced to a third party site, see file history at the bottom of the page).JWilz12345 (talk) 03:33, 15 July 2017 (UTC)
- I've added the info field based on Docrx's version (not the dubious, restored version by Kjbaldio)JWilz12345 (talk) 04:10, 15 July 2017 (UTC)
- I've deleted the copyvio version again, and restored the original. The original had a GFDL tag with no author information. Magog the Ogre (t • c) 16:03, 16 July 2017 (UTC)
Luke Davis
The "Luke Davis" wikipedia page was deleted for Vandalism but recently a very notable person in the bass fishing industry with the name of Luke Davis has become very successful in his field and has thousands of fans and followers worldwide and I feel that he needs a wikipedia page. However it says that the page was deleted so I am requesting to have this page undeleted. Thanks! —Lukeallen42 (talk) 02:14, 17 July 2017 (UTC)
- Hello Lukeallen42! I've taken a look at the deleted versions of that page, and none of them appear to be about anyone in the bass fishing industry. It appears that back in 2011 the page was about a different person, was deleted, and was locked from being recreated. Since that was such a long time ago I've gone ahead and unprotected the page so that anyone can create a new article at the page Luke Davis.
- Before you go and create a new page, some useful reading material: Wikipedia only includes articles about people when we are sure there is enough verifiable information out there to write a neutral, factually accurate article. Take a look at our notability guidance for articles about people, and the specific guidance for athletes and sports personalities. If you believe that this person meets these guidelines you can go ahead and create a new article at Luke Davis. Prodego talk 02:37, 17 July 2017 (UTC)

my corrent answer to you now: please take in consideration that the "Copyright ©2015 IFAN" no longer exist on the IFAN page, which means they allow the release of their content. since this was the only problem, and since its now solved, I sincerly ask to upload the page again and let the public know about it. thank you very much! — Preceding unsigned comment added by NiD123 (talk • contribs) 06:56, 18 July 2017 (UTC)
- Not done copyright exists automatically unless the author specifically disclaims it, the fact that a piece of text doesn't have a copyright notice on it does not mean that the text isn't copyrighted. "Public domain" here refers to the legal concept of public domain, namely that works are free from copyright if they meet certain criteria (such as being too old), I see no evidence that this text is in the public domain. The author of the text would need to follow the instructions at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for us to use it. However I don't think that this would likely make an acceptable article even if we could resolve the copyright issue. Hut 8.5 18:03, 18 July 2017 (UTC)

BrigthHR was deleted before I had the opportunity to properly contest the speedy deletion notification. —Cosmicsqueaker (talk) 23:02, 18 July 2017 (UTC)
- Not done for now. @Cosmicsqueaker: First, you have a conflict of interest indicated in the deleted history. You need to disclose that publicly, preferably on your user page. See WP:PAID for guidance.
- Second, as an editor with a conflict of interest, you should not be creating or making significant contributions to articles in the main space. You should be using your sandbox or draft space, and then submit the article for review via Wikipedia:Articles for creation.
- Finally, the speedy deletion notice need not have been contested, because the new article you created was very short compared to the one that got deleted. It was just a couple of sentences, and did not appear to address the concerns raised in the deletion discussion.
- If you wish, I can restore the entire history to draft space for you to submit via WP:AFC, but I prefer you publicly disclose your affiliation with BrightHR first on your user page. ~Anachronist (talk) 00:08, 19 July 2017 (UTC)

He is a Youtuber(Technical Guruji). He is also live in Dubai. He is Indian. He is Indian Tech Reviewer. Please Go Technical Guruji and search Technical Guruji. “Technical Guruji” is a small Tech Channel on YouTube channel run by myself, Gaurav Chaudhary. I started this channel back in October 2015, during those days I had just completed my M.E. (Microelectronics) from BITS Pilani, and joined my family business after getting certified from Dubai Police as a Security Systems Engineer. Since my childhood days I was inclined towards technology and as I was getting some free time in my daily routine, I thought why not share some of my little knowledge to the masses, there could have been nothing better than Hindi, plain simple Hindi. Initially, I used to upload 1 video everyday, that used to get an average of 300-400 views. But as they say “Patience pays off”. Today, “Technical Guruji” has garnered over 1 Million subscribers, with more than 80 Million video views on the channel, all this, just in a span of 16 months. “If you go viral, you are here to stay,” says YouTube, and today “Technical Guruji” is India’s Largest Tech Channel on YouTube. So, giving a quick overview about “Technical Guruji”, here you’ll find 2 videos everyday, covering Explanation of Various Technologies, Latest Tech News, Tech Tricks and Tutorials, Discussion on Trending Tech Topics and a lots more. - Just wait for someone else to write about you. Take a read of WP:Autobiography. I will let someone else decide if they want to undelete the page in this case. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 12:38, 20 July 2017 (UTC)
- Not done and will not be done. It's a personal essay written in the first person, a verbatim copy of what is written above, with no references to any independent reliable sources, and therefore not appropriate for an encyclopedia article. It's been deleted four times now. Repeatedly recreating an article deemed unacceptable is disruptive to the project, so I have protected the article from being re-created. If you really must write an article about yourself, do it in your sandbox or in draft space, and submit for review it via Wikipedia:Articles for creation (AFC). You have a conflict of interest about yourself, and the only viable venue for an editor with a conflict of interest is to go through AFC. ~Anachronist (talk) 14:32, 20 July 2017 (UTC)

Laocoön has been indefinitely blocked from editing, that person won't be making any more edits from that account. Paraduin
The article Paraduin was deleted for lack of significant coverage in reliable sources, which I think is not true. People claimed it was 'stealing content from Liberland' but it is the other way around, Liberland is the copycat. The author was even banned for creating this article, and some of the delete and ban voters are Liberland fans, so part of this seems personal. I think the article was fine but not complete yet. I'd like to work on it, as a draft if it's not undeleted as an article. Dolberty (talk) 11:13, 21 July 2017 (UTC)
- You should be asking user:Floquenbeam about this as that was the deleter. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 11:43, 21 July 2017 (UTC)
- You aren't describing the deletion discussion (which you participated in) accurately. You aren't describing the motivations of the overwhelming number of "delete" comments accurately. You aren't describing the reason the article's author was sitebanned accurately. There was crystal clear consensus that there were no significant independent reliable sources. As a result, I have no desire to undelete the article, and suggest that other admins review the entire AFD before considering undeleting. However, if another admin wants to userfy this: while I think that's not a good idea, I won't fight it. --Floquenbeam (talk) 14:00, 21 July 2017 (UTC)
- Wait... you're a new account who shares an interest in Guido den Broeder's invented micronation, AND you "share an IP" with another new account who shares an interest in an actresses related to Guido's favorite movie, and a model who is also one of Guido's interests? - @Randykitty: Administrators should verify that a proposed deletion is not controversial before "only" deleting. There is not enough manpower at WP:PRODPATROL to do this for you guys. This article had many incoming wikilinks so deletion was at least disruptive if not controversial. Once the deleted article was restored, I could see that there is a good case for notability of Prism Awards. ~Kvng (talk) 15:09, 24 July 2017 (UTC)
- @Kvng:, so you disagreed with a decision I made, that's fine. But I took an administrative decision, why would I want to get further involved by taking this to AfD? Doesn't change the fact that the person to be notified that their PROD had been denied (even retroactively here) would have been Wikipedical (besides, if you must, also the deleting admin). Islamophilia

- @Apokrif: The deleted material was neither a disambig or redirect. So it is not worth undeleting. If you feel up to making a page you can put a proposed disambiguation in a draft. However at this point the create action is protected, so you cannot just make a redirect. So pick one option for how to proceed. Master of Puppets is no longer active, so we cannot really ask him to make a decision. The book was only written after deletions here so its existence is new information. If you want to redirect I can do that for you. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 04:18, 25 July 2017 (UTC)
