[edit]Zodiac circle with sample celebrity images
[edit]India.com here shows a circle of Chinese star signs, each with an example Bollywood star. Is there any illustration like this with the Zodiac circle of Western astrology and any famous sample persons around on the web? I've failed to find one. --217.149.161.127 (talk) 06:56, 16 July 2020 (UTC)
My television turns off automatically even when the timers are off.
[edit]Why?--83.73.199.185 (talk) 07:33, 16 July 2020 (UTC)
- You mean like right in the middle of watching a show? ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 11:30, 16 July 2020 (UTC)
- Any television broadcast, every 2 hours, I suppose.--83.73.199.185 (talk) 12:12, 16 July 2020 (UTC)
- My TV (an LG) turns off after a certain time (two hours I think), if you don't press any buttons on it (or on the control as well I think). It gives a warning a few minutes before this happens. I don't know if there is a way to disable this feature, as I don't normally watch it for that long without pressing anything, and on the rare occasions it does occur, I just cancel it by tweaking the volume. - Without a make and model of the television, you are simply asking for wild guesses, not documentation. 97.82.165.112 (talk) 13:35, 16 July 2020 (UTC)

- Or at least get hold of a user guide to your TV and see if there's some sort of "energy saver" setting that's doing that to you. ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 17:12, 16 July 2020 (UTC)
- Not using the remote for a long time may cause it. Pressing any key may reset a timer. PrimeHunter (talk) 07:05, 17 July 2020 (UTC)
- I turned that timer/function off.--83.73.199.185 (talk) 10:29, 17 July 2020 (UTC)
- If it's still happening, do you have a cable box? It could be something to do with that. ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 11:11, 17 July 2020 (UTC)
- Try it anyway if the turnoff seems systematic after you haven't used the remote for a long time. PrimeHunter (talk) 11:35, 17 July 2020 (UTC)
- Many computers have a power saver where the screen goes blank after a while of inactivity. Pressing any key fires it up again. Problematically, my computer announces that to save power it will log out in x minutes, and to stop that I should press any key. It then logs out at the appointed time irrespective of how many keys I press to stop it. 150.143.96.88 (talk) 09:51, 20 July 2020 (UTC)
