[edit]trump.news
[edit]Hello, I was looking for recent political updates and found this website: http://trump.news/ which I have never seen before. The "Trump News Network" page was deleted within the past 24 hours. Was wondering if this is a brand new website? I would love some back story on it, but do not consider myself up to the task of doing research. I wondered if any of you all know anything about this? 24.60.186.131 (talk) 00:34, 19 November 2016 (UTC)
- The Daily Show with Trevor Noah did an episode on Halloween parodying what the US would become if Trump won. This included the establishment of a "Trump News Network" with a monopoly on news broadcasting.
Perhaps the web site was created as a reference to this.--76.71.5.45 (talk) 09:35, 19 November 2016 (UTC)- Whois shows that the URL was registered in 2015. Rojomoke (talk) 11:19, 19 November 2016 (UTC)
- Oh. Sorry. --76.71.5.45 (talk) 00:19, 20 November 2016 (UTC)

- If I was a well-known billionaire, I'd definitely get a minion to hoover up all the domains that might plausibly be used to spoof, attack, spam or scam against me or in my name. This domain might belong to him or his business, simply as a defensive measure. If Trump didn't do that, then someone else has decided to make a quick buck off his notoriety. There are ads on the articles. 129.67.118.14 (talk) 01:37, 20 November 2016 (UTC)
- Macedonia has a ton of ad-loving minions. Maybe part of that deal. InedibleHulk (talk) 18:10, 22 November 2016 (UTC)
Italian tile shape names
[edit]I am having a bathroom built in my house. I am well along in the process of ordering stuff the Architect gave us as on a shopping list, but I have not ordered the tile yet. I am buying from an Italian tile company and they don't have English equivalents of their shape names. Can anyone translate for me what these mean both from Italian, and possibly from "tile expert" into English, since I am really rather lost. We were told to get a certain amount of bullnose tile and a certain amount of "chair rail". This tile comes in (other than their regular wall tile which is the main thing we are buying):
Bullnose Lato Corto
Bullnose Lato Lungo
Quartino
What is the difference between the two named bullnose types and is Quartino possibly the equivalent of chair rail? Thank you! MoseAllisonFan (talk) 15:15, 19 November 2016 (UTC)
- The difference is whether the rounded edge is on the short side of the rectangular tile (lato corto) or on the long side of the rectangular tile (lato lungo). Which you need will depend on the alignment of the tiles, and where you want it to taper off. Chair rail produces a ridge in the tilework - the only quartino I can see appears to be a thin flat strip to produce a line, rather than a ridge. Wymspen (talk) 15:51, 19 November 2016 (UTC)
Thank you Wymspen. That helps. I guess I need to go back to the architect and tell them this company doe not make chair rail and ask if I really need it. I will not be able to match this tile's color with another company's product. MoseAllisonFan (talk) 17:29, 19 November 2016 (UTC)
- This identifies various bullnose tile shapes in English. This offers Italian "White Carrara Marble Chair Rail Decorative Crown Molding Bull Nose" and some related products that may be of interest. DaDoRonRon (talk) 12:11, 21 November 2016 (UTC)
