https://csi.fandom.com/wiki/Driven Angry 😡 I cannot Sleep because Of this 😡 Sad Fictional Episode. Do not Try to Tell Me that It was Director’s Decision to Design episode. I want Truth: 1. since Driver Hayden did Not know That He bought Stolen Car from Thief, why Did Dumb Officer Delko refuse To ask Hayden if He can Describe Thief's Face to Sketch Artist etc?(103.59.152.163 (talk) 16:01, 19 December 2023 (UTC)).
It is Too late It Is Csi miami Director's Fault for Showing this Episode on Tv causing Me 😡. Csi Miami including Delko is Making Reality Cops look Bad becuz Delko never asked For Sketch Artist. Now I do Not know For sure If Me & Public can Trust that Cops would Ever ask for Sketch Artists in Reality. 1. In Reality, would Cops ever ask For Sketch Artists? 2. I want Delko to Apologise Publicly on Tv etc?(103.59.152.163 (talk) 23:06, 19 December 2023 (UTC)).
😡 I do Not need Psychiatric Help. If You informed Public including Me not To see Dumb Episode Driven, then We would Have been Able to Sleep well. I saw Driven for my 1st Time in 2014. 1. In 2014, Why didn’t You tell Me that I should Not have Watched driven etc? 2. What logical Reason Why did Dumb Delko refuse To use Common Sense to ask Hayden if He can Describe Thief’s Face to Sketch Artist etc?(103.59.152.163 (talk) 01:25, 20 December 2023 (UTC)). |
First punk rock record
[edit]Which was the first punk rock record? Was it the Sex Pitols' "Anarchy in the U.K."? Thanks 86.157.60.8 (talk) 19:49, 19 December 2023 (UTC)
- Depends a bit on the definition of "punk rock", but New Rose by The Damned was the first of a British punk band. --Wrongfilter (talk) 19:54, 19 December 2023 (UTC)
- Tim Sommer discusses that question in detail:
- Sommer, Tim (12 May 2016). "For Your (Re)Consideration: What Was the First Punk Rock Record?". Observer.

- Anarchy in the UK (1977) was a year after punk rock hit mainstream. Most people consider 1976 the year that punk rock hit mainstream with multiple releases: The Ramones, The Damned, and the Saints all releasing punk rock albums. Obviously, they were playing their music before they released their albums. But, as with any music genre, punk formed over time. So, various bands had what we would now call "punk rock" songs on their albums long before 1976. Also, it is personal opinion. I personally consider Neu!75 to be punk rock, but it isn't classified as such by others. Some call it proto-punk, bridging between psychadelic rock of the early 70s and punk rock of the late 70s. I also feel that the "experiments" (less song, more experimental sound layering) by Yoko Ono have a strong feel of punk rock long before anyone thought about punk rock. I do not believe there is a coincidence that punk became very popular in New York about the time that she was over that sound and moving on to the next thing. 97.82.165.112 (talk) 13:45, 20 December 2023 (UTC)
- "Anarchy in the UK" came out in November 1976, not in 1977. But the question is impossible to answer, as you describe well. Punk rock has the full story. --Viennese Waltz 13:51, 20 December 2023 (UTC)
- Correct. I was referring to the album, not the single, so I should have said Never Mind the Bollocks. 97.82.165.112 (talk) 17:42, 20 December 2023 (UTC)
- Yes, I agree, impossible to answer. Dr. Feelgood recorded "She Does It Right" as early as 1974, but it's generally regarded as Proto-punk. Sounds a bit like R&B to me. Martinevans123 (talk) 17:54, 20 December 2023 (UTC)
- It was certainly not the Sex Pistols' "Anarchy in the U.K.", as has already been explained - there were many UK bands who pre-dated them, and even more in the U.S.. It's pretty easy to find examples of punk rock attitudes back in the 1960s, even the 1950s, though they were not known by that name then. Try this (1965) or this (1967). Ghmyrtle (talk) 22:15, 20 December 2023 (UTC)
- PS: I wasn't aware of this, but we have Timeline of punk rock. Ghmyrtle (talk) 22:17, 20 December 2023 (UTC)
- That's rather an odd article - it's a huge list of songs and artists with one single reference (supporting one single entry) and one fanzine in "Further reading"? So it's simply a large list of possible contributors, ostensibly based on nothing more than personal opinion, i.e. pure WP:OR and WP:SYNTH? Martinevans123 (talk) 09:14, 21 December 2023 (UTC)
- Rumble, 1958. Matt Deres (talk) 20:11, 21 December 2023 (UTC)
- The New York Dolls were early; Nuggets, Vol. 1 was important.--Ralfdetlef (talk) 17:17, 26 December 2023 (UTC)
