Baazigar 1993 Film

[edit]

I am sorry because I should have asked this question before Year 2013.

Before a Company Owner goes on a Business Trip, does the Company Owner automatically Have to give the [Power of Attorney] to Someone?(76.20.88.33 (talk) 04:11, 9 June 2016 (UTC)).[reply]

Your question has no apparent relation to Baazigar or any other film. Please clarify. -- Jack of Oz [pleasantries] 07:20, 9 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Ignoring the confusion about the film and the need to ask this before 2013, the answer is no. There is no necessity for a company owner (or director) to make a power of attorney when they travel, either in the same or to another country. --Tagishsimon (talk)
FWIW, the question does relate to the film. I can't claim to follow the plot summary very well, but it does include (in the "Flashback" section) the sentence "One day, when Sharma has to go for a business tour, he hands over the power of attorney to Chopra." --LarryMac | Talk 16:12, 11 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
That was a bit of egyptology I was not prepared to undertake, for I wilt in the heat. OPs generally ought to be as far as possible the Howard Carters to the Tutankhamuns of their obscure questions. -- Jack of Oz [pleasantries] 23:57, 11 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
It is neither necessary nor common for a company owner to give a power of attorney before traveling. However, this might be done under some circumstances. For example, if the company were a sole proprietorship and needed to purchase or sell real estate during the owner's absence, the owner might give someone a power of attorney for this purpose. Since I thought that Madan needs a Code to Take over Vishwanath's business, I thought that Viswanath is the Only Person with the Code.

1. [Is there Supposed to be a Code] or [Does the Power of Attorney Documents automatically give Madan the Opportunity to Take over Vishwanath's company]?(76.20.88.33 (talk) 18:13, 12 June 2016 (UTC)).[reply]

A power of attorney can be drafted to give either extremely broad or quite limited powers. A sufficiently broad power of attorney could give the attorney-in-fact the power to take over a business, although the attorney-in-fact could be subject to liability if he or she acted improperly. I don't know what the reference to a code means. Normally transfer of a business does not require a code. John M Baker (talk) 13:18, 13 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The bit at the beginning is an ident, so in all likeliness it is library music or composed for the job. matt (talk) 22:24, 9 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Party of Five - Seasons 1 & 2 in Region 2

[edit]

Why were the first two seasons of Party of Five released on DVD in Region 2 while all six were in Region 1? 86.130.115.252 (talk) 16:57, 9 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Probably because the first two seasons didn't sell well enough. It usually comes down to money in the end. Rojomoke (talk) 17:19, 9 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
