- Uploaded by Jaytrek25 (notify). Obselete and copyright violation as the free image Image:orson.scott.card.png exists. Picture adequately conveys the same info as the publicity and unfree shot. Hbdragon88 04:32, 23 July 2006 (UTC)
- Uploaded by SVera1NY (notify). Very useless and distorted image of Mayor Bloomberg...doesn't illustrate anything special. SVera1NY 04:56, 23 July 2006 (UTC)
- Uploaded by Piotrus (notify). Picture allegedly from a game cover used quite a few places to illustrate the subject of the cover or to illustrate "charging" in general- BigDT 05:15, 23 July 2006 (UTC)
- Object, keep. And the reason for deletion would be...? Besides I would like to caution you about yout tone: 'allegedly', implies you are assuming bad faith on the uploader (me). If source is the problem, yes, the link has rotted, but that's what Internet Archive is for: [1]. That said, it was the cover not of a game (my mistake) but box of minatures - not that it makes much difference, I think. If fair use, then I would think it's fair use as an example of author's art on his page, and to illustrate the subject of the painting, too.-- Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus talk 14:25, 23 July 2006 (UTC)
- Delete. If it's a toy cover, it can (at most) be used only to illustrate the toy itself. It's not fair use to use it to illustrate the subject of the drawning. All of the image uses seem not fair. --Abu Badali 14:35, 23 July 2006 (UTC)
- Well, since you yourself say it isn't from a game cover, I would guess "allegedly" is correct. ;) At any rate, I used the term only because I could not verify it - I did not mean anything by it. "Allegedly" doesn't mean I'm assuming it to be false - it just means that I can't prove it is true. That aside ... Abu badali is correct. "Fair use" images can only be used to illustrate the product itself, not something tangental. If you were writing an article about this toy, you could use a photo of the box, but it cannot be used to illustrate things unrelated to the toy. BigDT 16:42, 23 July 2006 (UTC)

- Uploaded by Metb82 (notify). One of a large number of questionable images uploaded by this user. Most are or were tagged with {{NoRightsReserved}} or {{CopyrightedFreeUseProvidedThat}}. When other users have called into question the copyright info, the user has simply reverted the tag to something along the lines of {{CopyrightedFreeUseProvidedThat|the website http://yunus.hacettepe.edu.tr/~maattar/HM.htm cited as source}} . If these images were all from the same website, I could accept that it was the user's own website, but given the unwillingness to provide an explanation for the copyright status, I encourage the deletion of all of them. Further, the uploader even said in one of his edit summaries, [3], "unlike the others, this has free copyright, permissioned by the site owner". To me, that is an acknowledgement that everything other than Image:Zeytinyagli yaprak sarms.jpg is CV. I leave it up to the closing admin whether to WP:AGF about Image:Zeytinyagli yaprak sarms.jpg or to declare it guilty by association. BigDT 21:48, 23 July 2006 (UTC)
