"Ron McGovney (bass)." Bass when related to music is a rather ambiguous term; needs an explanatory link, or expanding to 'bass guitar'

"The band is among the most lucrative live bands, selling out 93 concerts out of 187 during the 2000s," I didn't add it up, but the table shows a good number more shows than 187 during the decade. (Indeed, the first four tours listed for the 2000's add to 214 shows.)
"The band announced that the band will be playing in Australia and in New Zealand in November, 2010.[8]" First, can we avoid the repetition fo the "the band"; second, I think that comma is unneeded.
"I was an overlap of Metallica's "Wherever We May Roam Tour"" Missing letter, or something else?
"September 15, 2010–November 21, 2010 (Australia/New Zealand) May 22, 2010 (Israel, Tel-Aviv)" Why is this out of order? And why Israel, Tel-Aviv and not the more traditional Tel-Aviv, Israel?
Ref 8 needs a fuller citation.
Why is ref 12 a reliable source?
There's some date inconsistency in the refs

Sorry about missing all of these. I tried to fix all the issues, including the copyedits, and the inconsistencies. I moved ref 12 to external links and replaced it, and I tried to fix all the inconsistencies I found in the refs. Ref 8 does not seem to have any further information available that it has now. The ""I was an overlap" thing is still there. I'm 99% sure it just needs a "t", but this is so far outside of my knowledge I can't just change it myself. Courcelles 22:55, 29 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose a bunch of nit-picks
  • " first few concerts " and " first couple of years" and "A few performances" a little loose and colloquial for me.
    • changed them
  • "such as", "such as", perhaps make the first or second an "including"

  • "Since 1982, Metallica has performed on all populated continents. The band has performed in live events every year (with the exception of 2001) in a total of over 1600 shows." would merge these (so removing "The band has performed" and adding "including" perhaps), and 1,600 instead of 1600.

  • Question: What's a "world tour"? You have to caveat your description with the "During these tours, South Africa as well as several countries in Central and South America, Asia, and Oceania were visited" sentence, which made me think, what constitutes a world tour?
    • the band has named their tours (or part of their tours) as "X World Tour" on seven occasions. Any idea how to clarify this?

    • I have found references with 93 sellouts out of some 200 shows and I have not found more references to fill the gap from that 200 to the current total. That's why it is formulated like this. Weirdly, the total is 350ish not 500.
    • The reference gives 93 out of 187. In reality Metallica doubled the total performances with the World Magnetic Tour. Is the formulation ok now?
  • " album Garage Inc..[61]" don't think you need the second full stop.

  • do they have to be? they seem to be the most comprehensive fansites with the concerts listed
