For your delectation: the discography of a fairly obscure metal band, without the bells and whistles you might find in the discog of a worldwide pop star or venerable rock group. Instead, it's a fairly warts-and-all account of Isis' release history, with minimal chart performance history, no worldwide sales counts and one or two silly and arcane early releases thrown in for good measure. Although it looks pretty bare, I like to think it's got all the bases well and truly covered. I eagerly await your feedback and will jump upon any recommendations with fervour. Serious oppose - basics, suggest you withdraw until you've looked at...... "Visible in back is drummer" I think we'd generally say "at the back" rather than "in back". I didn't write this; I presumed it was an American colloquialism so left it in. Regardless, I've changed it now. After "extended plays" put "(EP)" because the infobox uses that terminology. Okay. "Isis were formed in Boston, Massachusetts, in late 1997 Aaron Turner" - some words are missing here, or maybe some punctuation. Probably after 1997. And late-1997 should be hyphenated. Yes, a word was missing. "Late 1997" shouldn't be hyphenated, as it isn't being used adverbially here. If I said "the late-1997 formation", I'd need a hyphen. Here I do not. "around the release of The Red Sea " when? what is this? It does actually say 1999 in parentheses after The Red Sea. I've altered it anyway. "line-up" or "lineup"? Fair enough. Lineup it is. "Isis released their debut full-length, Celestial, and its sister EP, SGNL>05 (on Neurot Recordings), in 2000, as their stature within metal music began to grow." too many clauses, and cite the final claim. Fair. I've pared this down and removed the offending claim as nothing's to hand to cite it with. You're right; it should've been cited. "In 2002, Oceanic was released to great critical acclaim, and was the subject of a series of four vinyl reinterpretations by various contemporary artists; the series was consolidated into an Ipecac Recordings release, entitled Oceanic: Remixes & Reinterpretations. Growth in stature necessitated relocation to Los Angeles" a lot of unsubstantiated claims in this phrase. Again, fair enough. I should've been more thorough. Cited. "This attention was matched by their next record" not great English. Look for a decent copyeditor here. No need to be so harsh; it's an ugly phrase, certainly. And redundant. I've excised it fittingly. "although critical reception was not so warm and the band do not look upon the album fondly." even worse. Perhaps you're misreading the intention of the 'so' – it is intended to be comparative (i.e. as warm as the previous album), so I've reshuffled. Ambiguity means something was afoul, I guess. " peaking at #98" avoid use of hash to represent "number" per WP:MOS. I wasn't aware of this and have removed it. "posthumous" means after-death. The band didn't "die" did they? Well, no. I've reworded this. Releases that didn't chart anywhere need their own reference. I'm not sure exactly what it is that needs referencing, but I expect allmusic is as good a source as any. I've done my best here. Please check to see that I've done what you've asked for here. Where are EPs referenced? As above. Singles are unreferenced. As above. Most collaborations are unreferenced. As above. DVD is unreferenced. As above. Things have changed since I last nominated a discography here and I haven't kept up. I've done my best to address your concerns (except the Live releases and the demo, which I'm working on).
