Biography not necessary?
[edit]This page seems to include a biography of Isis as well as a discography. Should the biographical section be deleted or integrated into the main Isis page? 1a2sections (talk) 18:46, 14 June 2009 (UTC)
- This is mainly due to precedent. All featured discographies have a brief introduction which summarises the contents of the article, as per WP:LEAD. That said, the information should certainly be relevant to a reader's understanding of the article at hand. Following that logic, valuable information pertains, primarily, to the releases themselves. A little contextual information is thrown in to aid flow, as well as to shape the reader's understanding of where the releases fit into canon. I hope this helps answer your question; in any case, be bold and improve it wherever you can! Seegoon (talk) 19:54, 14 June 2009 (UTC)
