Essay on editing Wikipedia
This is an essay. It contains the advice or opinions of one or more Wikipedia contributors. This page is not an encyclopedia article, nor is it one of Wikipedia's policies or guidelines, as it has not been thoroughly vetted by the community. Some essays represent widespread norms; others only represent minority viewpoints. |
"Wikipedia:How one edits" redirects here. For how to edit, see Help:Editing.
Criticizing how other editors edit is a weak argument. Content is not related to editing style.
For example, pointing out that someone only checks article categories and doesn't create "real content", only points out that they do something you don't, thus helping to complete the tasks necessary for a quality encyclopedia.
Different people have different styles of editing, but Wikipedia is about content, not about judgement.
