Comment – The book has received some notable reviews: [1], [2] (PDF), [3]. According to WP:NBOOK that probably bestows notability, but the WP article should be about the book's influence and should not repeat the book itself. Also, the article could possibly be nominated for deletion because there is no article about the author. ---DOOMSDAYER520 (Talk|Contribs) 15:23, 24 April 2018 (UTC)
Done ...at least in terms of cleaning up he weaknesses noted by User:Bbarmadillo back in April. I alerted the Books Project about the article and some folks there cut down the self-referencing summaries substantially. The article still has lingering notability issues though. ---DOOMSDAYER520 (Talk|Contribs) 17:21, 1 July 2018 (UTC)
I also notified AustinIrving that they should not be editing this article and should properly declare COI. -- Bbarmadillo (talk) 20:12, 8 April 2018 (UTC)

Done I cleaned up the grammar and such, but the article doesn't cite any sources, so I have no idea if it's accurate or not. --LichWizard talk 21:31, 8 April 2018 (UTC)

  • Coretta Scott King – the entire article is disorganized, and uses many instances of unidiomatic American English. Sections are all right, but many anecdotes are sort strung together or pop up randomly. The article as a whole reads like a high school essay. Matuko) 22:33, 10 April 2018 (UTC)
I think it's a beautiful article! Nina07011960 (talk)
Done - Tags for "copy edit" and "personal opinion/essay" were placed on 10 April by Matuko (who also commented above). Several editors tackled typos and grammar errors and in my judgment the problem is resolved so I removed that tag. Meanwhile, Matuko (if you read this), please give some examples of how the article looked too much "like a high school essay". Respectfully and professionally, I must disagree because almost all claims are supported by reliable sources and a few minor oversights already have the standard "citation needed" tag. ---DOOMSDAYER520 (Talk|Contribs) 19:12, 16 April 2018 (UTC)
Thank you. I stand by my issues with the article, and have replied to your comment on my talk page with examples. I don't have a dog in this hunt other than providing readers with a factual and readable article on Mrs. King (as we all want), and if I am alone in this, I'm perfectly fine with that. I used phraseology (i.e. "high school essay") from Wikipedia's guidelines regarding encyclopedic tone and article cleanup and certainly not just to offend. --Matuko (Talk) 23:49, 18 April 2018 (UTC)

Partly done the text is OK. There are still too many links at "External links" that should be turned into text references. I did part of the job. A bit more effort is needed. -- Bbarmadillo (talk) 20:15, 3 April 2018 (UTC)

Note that Draft:John Warner Smith has already been rejected for article status five times due to lack of notability and shortage of reliable sources. Another review now is likely to lead to the same result. ---DOOMSDAYER520 (Talk|Contribs) 22:21, 11 April 2018 (UTC)

  •  Done - Xcuref1endx was probably right about someone close to the organization writing the article. It had way too many unsourced details about the group's inner workings, stuff probably remembered fondly by the group but boring and irrelevant to everyone else. I eliminated just about all that stuff, reduced the article to a factual history, and improved the citations. There are a couple of fairly minor factual statements that I was unable to verify so I left "citation needed" alerts. ---DOOMSDAYER520 (Talk|Contribs) 21:03, 20 April 2018 (UTC)

  • List of Shameless (U.S. TV series) characters I saw some glaring errors in some of the descriptions of the characters of this TV series. I corrected some of them, but then saw that many of the entries contain detailed descriptions of plot activity (especially from Season 4), rather than just the characters' nature or biographical information. It seems to me that, even though the activity of the story lines impacts the characters' personalities, the inclusion of what amounts to partial plot synopses may be irrelevant, and furthermore will contain spoilers. I believe this is not the place for plot outlines and such. I soon realized I was looking at a much larger task than originally conceived, and thought it best to bring this matter to public attention, hoping those with more experience in this area will know how to improve the page satisfactorily. I hope this is the right place to post this sort of notice. Thank you. Journeybear
Partly done: Looks like one had been fixed, but Traffic light still needs improvements. Tinton5 (talk) 20:21, 16 May 2015 (UTC)
I took a look at this article and I don't think that there's much use in cleaning it up until there is some kind of consensus on which source to use for the list (post office vs USGS, for example) and how broadly to define place names (include counties?). • Silva Method – Grammar needs fixing. Article is more about José Silva than the Silva Method. Content about the method itself is mostly not encyclopaedic (e.g. list of countries). The Navbox template adds little value. Stelio (talk) 09:10, 17 July 2013 (UTC)

  • New Jersey Turnpike – needs additional sources and formatting improvements. In addition, consistency with naming conventions such as the word "exit" (like in exit 5), the "E" should be lowercase in the body and lead. Footnote number 22 needs to be replaced with a more reliable source. Tinton5 (talk) 21:37, 27 February 2013 (UTC)
