Sutcliffs Ball-peen hammer

Hey, i just saw the netflix docu on sutcliff from 2020 this morning and there are pictures of the weapons used by sutcliff. In them you can clearly see that there are several ball-peen hammers. He was known to use hammers, screwdrivers and a hacksaw as well as stones.

I did not know what a ball-peen hammer was so had to look it up and the pictures are exactly the kind of hammer shown in the docu. There were several on display in the docu and they were all ball-peens. So if you want to verify this yourself and have access to netflix, the pictures of the weapons used are in the later episodes. There are 4 total and it is only in the last two that the weapons are shown.

I think it is safe to say that he did indeed use ball-peen hammers, so your removal of this could, and should, be reverted. I think, for the sake of truth, that the ball-peen hammer reference should be put back.

I surveyed several reliable sources on the web (in other words, contemporary newspaper accounts) and none of them mention that specific type of hammer. A documentary is not as reliable as "The Guardian" et al—they aren't fact-checked to the same degree. And since you have to watch the documentary to verify it, that means a lot of people can't verify it.

The only paper that mentioned it was, i think, "The Sun", which is a deprecated source on Wikipedia. Since the type of hammer is really immaterial, if that detail is to be included we need a citable source. If you can find one, great, but a hammer is a hammer.
