Station infoboxes
[edit]Hello there. I've noticed on a couple of CTA articles that you've replaced the station infoboxes with the older, hard-coded wikitax. Consensus favors using the station templates; is there something about {{Infobox Station}} that you don't like? Cheers, Mackensen (talk) 02:55, 5 December 2007 (UTC)
I'm testing a new concept at State/Lake (CTA). Your comments would be welcome at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Trains#New station infobox concept. Mackensen (talk) 23:52, 10 December 2007 (UTC)
Image tagging for Image:Cumberland Sign.JPG
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Cumberland Sign.JPG. You don't seem to have said where the image came from or who created it. We requires this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.

List of Chicago Landmarks
[edit]Do you have access to the List of Chicago Landmarks that have been promoted since January 2008. I think there are probably more structures that need to be added.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/WP:CHICAGO/WP:LOTM) 20:06, 9 June 2009 (UTC)
- We are always looking for help. I just thought that based on your recent editorial interests we might be able to count on you to go through them for us. Also, it seems that the website only goes back a year and we need to go back to Jan 2008.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/WP:CHICAGO/WP:LOTM) 01:55, 11 June 2009 (UTC)
- Hi, I visit here because i also noticed your edits to the List of Chicago Landmarks article. Glad you are on board and updating that! If you might be interested in other historic sites, please consider joining the U.S. NRHP wikiproject (shortcut wp:NRHP) and/or the world-wide Historic sites wikiproject (wp:HSITES) which covers local historic registers anywhere. You certainly are welcome to post announcements of any new articles you create, or to ask questions or comment at their Talk pages (shortcuts wt:NRHP and wt:HSITES), whether you join or not. Keep up the good work! :) doncram (talk) 21:15, 18 June 2009 (UTC)
- How is updating the list coming along?--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/WP:CHICAGO/WP:LOTM) 05:30, 5 August 2009 (UTC)
Thanks for keeping this up to date.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 03:46, 21 February 2010 (UTC)
- You may want to use this tool to add infoboxes when a landmark is promoted. It would be easier than me following you around. I have tried to fix 330 North Wabash, but there is some minor glitch. I hope Doncram can fix it.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 22:11, 29 March 2010 (UTC)
Hyde Park-Kenwood National Bank Building
[edit]Great work so far with the landmarks. Using the City page for each landmark would be even better than the online booklet, but the official booklet is a big improvement. What is your source for the Hyde Park-Kenwood National Bank Building being a NRHP listing?--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/WP:CHICAGO/WP:LOTM) 23:57, 12 June 2009 (UTC)
File source problem with File:47th CTA.JPG
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:47th CTA.JPG. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 01:30, 17 June 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. –Drilnoth (T • C • L) 01:30, 17 June 2009 (UTC)
October 2009
[edit]Please do not replace Wikipedia pages with blank content, as you did to LaRabida Hospital. Blank pages are harmful to Wikipedia because they have a tendency to confuse readers. If it is a duplicate article, please redirect it to an appropriate existing page. If the page has been vandalized, please revert it to the last legitimate version. If you feel that the content of a page is inappropriate, please edit the page and replace it with appropriate content. If you believe there is no hope for the page, please see the deletion policy for how to proceed. CAPT. JIM KIRK 22:47, 2 October 2009 (UTC)
Metra & CTA images
[edit]Nice round of images for Metra and Chicago 'L' stations. Is there any chance you can go further east and capture some from Dowagiac (Amtrak station) and Niles (Amtrak station)? ----DanTD (talk) 20:51, 7 February 2010 (UTC)

[edit]You are a good photographer. You should upload your images to commons and add them to our Chicago articles. I just added one for the Ratner Center.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 08:31, 5 May 2010 (UTC)

You are now a Reviewer
[edit]Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010.
Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages.
When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.
If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Courcelles (talk) 18:27, 17 June 2010 (UTC)

The article Central Avenue (Chicago) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Non notable city street that does not pass the WP:GNG.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Admrboltz (talk) 03:42, 15 January 2011 (UTC)
Heads up on your photos at commons
[edit]It appears that there is a user on commons "Thundercat" that's been uploading your photos from Flickr claiming (s)he is the copyright owner and is opening them up to the public domain. Lost on Belmont (talk) 14:55, 7 December 2011 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for January 10
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detectedthat when you recently edited National Register of Historic Places listings in South Side Chicago, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Museum of Science & Industry. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
