Tips
  • Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
  • It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
  • If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
  • Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
  • When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
  • If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
  • Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.

Hello Zarahassan9992. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to Naveen Tewari (entrepreneur), gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Zarahassan9992. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Zarahassan9992|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Jeraxmoira🐉 (talk) 16:02, 29 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Jeraxmoira I'm not financially supported or hired by anyone, I'm new to Wikipedia and interested in the subject of Business. I just went through नवीन तिवारी article in Hindi language Wikipedia, which was created by PQR01. I searched about the person on Google and created this article as my first ever article on Wikipedia. For a new user, how are you familiar with Wikipedia:Shortdesc helper and Wikipedia:HotCat? You also seem to know how to reference as well as the structure for an article. There are literally 0 flaws in your article, and I believe this isn't your first Wikipedia account. Have you had any experience editing Wikipedia previously? Jeraxmoira🐉 (talk) 16:49, 29 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Jeraxmoira If you can check i took a break of around 7 hours to understand editing and some of the guidelines of Wikipedia. I took some help from Google to edit, i had created my account on February 18, but i edited today after having some knowledge of editing. I hope you understand and Thanks for your welcome you posted above this, I'm very glad to be here. Being new to Wikipedia doesn't mean that I'm a fool to understand it. I'm fond of studying and writing about Business and its related stuff. I also understood that the profession of a person can be written in the bracket after their name, so i just did the same thing by adding an 'entrepreneur' to the name. I also looked at some of the editors of Wikipedia that they use this type of Gadgets so i Turn those on from the Preferences section. Now, i also got to know about the Twinkle Gadget, I'll install it soon, currently having some glitches. I'm totally new to Wikipedia, just surfed google to understand editing. I don't know why creating this article seems to be paid? What's the issue? Zarahassan9992 (talk) 18:20, 29 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It takes months for editors to become familiar with Wikipedia's guidelines, styles and policies. As you mentioned, if you had taken the time to familiarize yourself with Wikipedia, you would know that creating an article directly in the mainspace for a new user with only 14 edits is not advised. Every new user is encouraged to create articles using the Article Wizard (WP:YFA). I'm not sure how you learned without making practical edits on Wikipedia. Thanks for your contributions to Naveen Tewari. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability, it is promotional and reads like an advertisement, you may have a possible Conflict of Interest and Many paid articles. . I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Youknowwhoistheman (talk) 18:10, 29 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
