Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (Singapore)
[edit]Hi, Yqwong.benjamin. I'm reaching out because you placed this article on the Good Article nomination page yesterday. I took a quick look at the article and don't think it would pass a review at this time. I certainly don't want your article to sit for 3–6 months and then get struck done through a speedy fail because it was not ready. Among the biggest problems with the article is scope. Many sections are just one or two-liners. Make sure you also find other reliable sources (not just from the Singapore commission) to expand it. If you don't think you can expand the article more, I would reduce the amount of sections so the article looks smaller. I was recently copyediting Amendment No. 27 to the Entry Into Israel Law (which will appear on the Main Page), so I would say an article structured like that would be best. Though I think this should not hinder you from promoting articles to the GA nominations, I think it's best if you ask your peers to take a look at your articles before putting them there. My first GA got struck down because I wasn't experienced/informed enough with the requirements. I'm here to help, so let me know if you need anything. If you have any new articles plans on your plate, let me know. I'd love to help you promote them to the DYK section of the Main Page if you're interested. That's usually the best way to "start" editing here. Cheers! ComputerJA (☎ • ✎) 13:58, 2 May 2017 (UTC)
Hi, ComputerJA. Thanks so much for your advice! I'll keep working on the article. Yqwong.benjamin (talk) 07:02, 3 May 2017 (UTC)
- You got it. Thanks for working on this underrepresented part of Wikipedia. Your work is greatly appreciated. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions. Talk to you later! ComputerJA (☎ • ✎) 13:44, 3 May 2017 (UTC)
Ways to improve Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (Singapore)
[edit]Hi, I'm Scope creep. Yqwong.benjamin, thanks for creating Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (Singapore)!
I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Use of Ibid is not really allowed per WP:MOS and WP:SOURCES, I think.
The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.

- Hi, Scope creep, thanks for pointing out that error! I plan to conduct a revamp of the page in the near future, but I am currently occupied with other matters at the moment. When I do get around to revamping the page, I will fix the errors you mentioned. Yqwong.benjamin (talk) 03:10, 15 June 2017 (UTC)
