60s
Please mind your language. I believe it is not wrong at all at what I did. In fact, if I had my way, I would reedit all the years. You guys say 1001-2000 is the 2nd millennium and 1901-2000 is the 20th century. Then why do we need to make things inconsistent by adding a pop-culture created decade in the form of 1960-1969 when it is actually 1961-1970. 136.54.56.86 (talk) 17:12, 30 January 2024 (UTC)
- Because 1960s is anything that is 196X, hence the 60s. 1970 doesn't belong there, does it? Yoshi24517 (Chat) (Online) 20:13, 30 January 2024 (UTC)
- Your argument is completely based on pop culture hogwash and not at all convincing. When we say 16th century or even 1500s, people still say 1501-1600. 136.54.56.86 (talk) 20:28, 1 February 2024 (UTC)

Reply to your post on my talkpage:
You wrote that I removed content without adequately explaining why and then explained how to use the edit summary, but I did write something in that summary, I wrote this: "This is in the infobox and completely pointless to have in the lead section" What's inadequate about that? The information removed was just a post code and area code which is completely unnecessary to have in the lead section. That information is also in the side infobox so why duplicate it? 86.8.114.154 (talk) 23:01, 7 February 2024 (UTC)
- Your edit that I had reverted did not contain an edit summary. That's all. Sorry to confuse you. Yoshi24517 (Chat) (Online) 23:19, 7 February 2024 (UTC)
Zaquezipe edits on Colombia's page
Hi Yoshi, I wanted to bring to your attention user Zaquezipe who insists on editing Colombia's page even though people differ from his standpoint.
He has a thing for overestimating the percentage of minority peoples and claims the country has some sort of prosecution policy going on against them with no actual proof to back up such claims.
Please help us resolve this, I think he might want to create a page where everyone can discuss and share their point of view and not edit as he wishes. Also, I've noticed the ethnic subsection now is too large, the article is not exclusively about Colombia's ethnic breakdown. Thank you. Dougwash (talk) 22:59, 9 February 2024 (UTC)
- I do, it is a historic fact in all Latin American countries, I am not sure why you want to paint it as if nothing bad is going on within the country. I am just trying to add an estimation based off of numbers within the pages themselves! Zaquezipe (talk) 23:06, 9 February 2024 (UTC)
- And in fact, I can provide many cites that support my claim. Zaquezipe (talk) 23:07, 9 February 2024 (UTC)

- I can't find anything in the source that you provided that explains your changes in content. Also, you did not explain the removal of the part of the lead that references the UEFA. While I can't speak for Yoshi, I would guess that this is the reason why your changes were reverted. GrayStormTalk Contributions 23:00, 9 February 2024 (UTC)

I was in the middle of replying, but kept getting edit conflicted. I'm merging your sections. Please stay in one section. You are not providing sources. Just saying "fa handbook page 274" is not a source. Please see WP:REFB on how to cite. In addition, you are deleting content without explaining why, as I've told you a couple of times in edit summaries, and on the warnings I left you on your talk page. Question from Clementchristi (13:13, 9 February 2024)
Hello Why my article is not published. After the publishing only my co - members can help to me add more edits and content. Now when I am searching on google the article is not at there --Clementchristi (talk) 13:13, 9 February 2024 (UTC)
- Hello Clementchristi,
- After taking a look at your contributions, it seems you created your sandbox page, but did not paste your content there. It seems you put some of it on your user talk page, which is not where that should go, it should go in your sandbox. Upon a closer inspection, it looks like you made edits to a sandbox which is a subpage of your user talk page, which is not where that goes either. The correct sandbox page for you is User:Clementchristi/sandbox. Hope this helps! Yoshi24517 (Chat) (Online) 20:29, 9 February 2024 (UTC)
- Can you put this article on Wikipedia.then later I can do edits and add pictures . Thank you.
- Because now there is no option to add articles in sandbox Clementchristi (talk) 01:50, 10 February 2024 (UTC)
- Clementchristi, please do not paste your article here, this is not where it goes. If you are still working on your article, your best bet is to put it in your sandbox, so you can continue working on it. If we were to put it in mainspace, it would most likely get deleted. You should only publish an article to mainspace once it is fully ready. I will attempt to assist in getting everything in the correct spot for you to work on. Yoshi24517 (Chat) (Online) 01:54, 10 February 2024 (UTC)
- I have copy pasted your article text from your user talk page into your sandbox. You should work on your article there instead. I gave it a quick look, and I'm sorry to say, it is no where near ready to be published to article space. It needs references more than anything, and the formatting is a little whack. I would suggest you work on it more before trying to publish it. Hope this helps, and happy editing. Yoshi24517 (Chat) (Online) 02:01, 10 February 2024 (UTC)
- (talk page watcher) Clementchristi, I second what Yoshi has said to you above. Please work on the article some more before making any attempts to publish it, and in future, please only work on the article in your sandbox. You also mention that you'd like "co-members" to help you contribute to the article - if you are working as part of a group of colleagues, please take the time to read WP:MEAT and WP:CANVASS. I hope I have been able to assist you - please don't hesitate to ask if you have any further questions. Best, Patient Zerotalk 03:35, 10 February 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you.
- I added more citations and photos .
- Jesus bless you. I will pray for you Clementchristi (talk) 18:00, 10 February 2024 (UTC)

If you are concerned that your nomination will not receive the necessary reviews, and you hope to get it promoted before the end of the round, please list it on Wikipedia:WikiCup/Reviews. However, please remember to continue to offer reviews at GAN, FAC and all the other pages that require them to prevent any backlogs which could otherwise be caused by the Cup. As ever, questions are welcome on Wikipedia talk:WikiCup and the judges (Cwmhiraeth (talk · contribs), Epicgenius (talk · contribs), and Frostly (talk · contribs)) are reachable on their talk pages. Dear,
For privacy reasons i dont want my age to be on wikipedia .Please respect my privacy . We can do videochat or i can give you my signment that i am Marielia Zaloumi and i dont agree my age and birth date to be on wikipedia. Thank you Sincerely Marielia Zaloumi Zacharoula20 (talk) 15:42, 11 February 2024 (UTC)
- (talk page stalker)Hello there. Please note that your age is still visible in the edit history, and will continue to be so unless measures are taken found in this page, which require special permissions to enact. If you want to seek further assistance, you can look at this page for help with the biography of living persons policy as it concerns you. GrayStorm(Talk|Contributions) 16:12, 11 February 2024 (UTC)

- hello i read it but i dont agree my birth date to be on wikipedia . How can this be fixed ? Its my privacy i dont want it on wikipedia. Zacharoula20 (talk) 19:02, 14 February 2024 (UTC)
- Hello Zacharoula20, the best we can do is limit it to just the year. Though, I hate to ask, how do we know this is Mariella? We're just trusting a random username that you are Mariella, so I hope you understand. Courtesy ping GrayStorm: May be limiting to birth year per WP:BLPPRIVACY, but would like to ask for your opinion as well. Yoshi24517 (Chat) (Online) 19:15, 14 February 2024 (UTC)
- We can change it to just the year. As for confirming this person is who they say they are, maybe have them email one of us with a picture of the holding a peice of paper with a random phrase on it, like chicken nugget hot dog cheese (the rationale behind this being that, while there are pictures of Marielia Zaloumi online, there aren't nessesarily going to be ones of her holding a peice of paper with random words on it.) GrayStorm(Talk|Contributions) 19:28, 14 February 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you where can i send you the photos ? Could you please send me your email ? I am real marielia zaloumi Zacharoula20 (talk) 19:35, 14 February 2024 (UTC)
- Please give me the email and what exactly to send so i can prove i am real Marielia Zaloumi. Please remove my birthday for privacy reasons !!!! Zacharoula20 (talk) 14:22, 16 February 2024 (UTC)
- Dear yoshi what is the email i have to send and what should be the photo ? I am real Marielia Zaloumi and for privacy i want to be removed thank you Zacharoula20 (talk) 19:37, 14 February 2024 (UTC)
- Hello Zacharoula20, we can't really remove your birthdate, because we get our facts from other sources. That means your birthdate is already out there somewhere on a news article, or somewhere else on the internet. Trying to go after every website that has your birthdate would be practically impossible. Like I said, we can change it to just the year per our guidelines, but we really cannot get rid of it. I hope you understand. Yoshi24517 (Chat) (Online) 21:19, 14 February 2024 (UTC)
- Update: After doing some research, I cannot find any sources that has the actual birth date, and multiple sources provide the birth year, so we will have to stick with that. Because we don't control the sources where we get our information from, its really out of our hands. Sorry for the inconvenience. Yoshi24517 (Chat) (Online) 21:36, 14 February 2024 (UTC)
- please give me an email to send you that i am real marielia zaloumi. I dont want my age to be on wikipedia . Please respect this!!!! Otherwise i have to take the legal way and talk to my lawyer. Zacharoula20 (talk) 14:20, 16 February 2024 (UTC)
- Dear editors ,
- please remove it !!! It very important for me ! Send me an email so i can prove i am real marielia zaloumi and tell me what exactly i should send so you remove it ! Please i want this to be solved as soon as possible . Otherwise i have to contact my lawyer . Zacharoula20 (talk) 14:32, 16 February 2024 (UTC)
- (talk page stalker) As stated before, wikipedia gets its information from other sources, and the most we can do is change your article to just display the year of birth. Also, in the future, please refrain from making any legal threats. GrayStorm(Talk|Contributions) 15:23, 16 February 2024 (UTC)
- Zacharoula20, making legal threats is a great way to get yourself blocked per WP:NLT. Please do not make legal threats. Yoshi24517 (mobile) (talk) (Online) 15:58, 16 February 2024 (UTC)

- ed . Please display only the year of birth not the date . As i have write to you before send me your email and what exactly i should send you to prove i am real Marielia Zaloumi . Please understand me . I just want privacy regarding my birth date . I never threated you. Please keep only the year not fully my birth date. Thank you Zacharoula20 (talk) 16:45, 16 February 2024 (UTC)
- Zacharoula20, thats what we did, but you kept going. We said we were only going to keep the birth date. This was mostly because I couldn’t find any sources that mention the actual birth date, only the year, when I said
I cannot find any sources that has the actual birth date, and multiple sources provide the birth year, so we will have to stick with that.
After though, thats when you said you were going to contact your lawyer. Please calm down and read our responses. You might see we came up with the solution already. - For future reference, when you say “Otherwise I will have to contact my lawyer”, that makes us think you are going to take legal action. Per our no legal threats policy, that usually leads to a block. Please take care to not make such threats in the future. I will be leaving a no legal threats warning on your talk page. It does not mean there is anything wrong with your editing right now, it is just for your reference.
- Thank you for your help, and thanks to GrayStorm for helping out when I could not answer. I consider this matter resolved. Happy editing! Yoshi24517 (mobile) (talk) (Online) 17:05, 16 February 2024 (UTC)

Question from Clementchristi (16:10, 13 February 2024)
when will Wikipedia publish my articles ? Is there is any correlation need --Clementchristi (talk) 16:10, 13 February 2024 (UTC)
- Clementchristi, there is no ETA. If you submitted it through the Articles for Creation queue, you will just have to be patient. There are over 3,000 articles waiting to be checked as well, and some haven't been looked at for over 3 months. All you can do is really wait, and there isn't a way to prioritize your article. Hope that helps. Yoshi24517 (Chat) (Online) 19:17, 14 February 2024 (UTC)

- Zacharoula20, since I'm unfamiliar with the language, I have no idea how to help you there. Regarding the 2002-2003 bit, we have no sources that specify what year you were actually born. All we know is that you were 20 on September 28, 2023, per one source. As such, we have marked it as such. We can only go off of what the sources provide, as mentioned many, many times before. Unless we have a reliable source that confirms you were born in 2003, we have to go off of this. Yoshi24517 (Chat) (Online) 19:41, 16 February 2024 (UTC)

- (talk page watcher) Hello! You can use Special:EmailUser to email the user of your choice. Regarding the uncertainty on your birth date, we unfortunately cannot source material exclusively from private communication (because of verifiability). Something you could do would be to "officially" post something (on a website, blog, Twitter account, etc. that is publicly yours) indicating your birth year as being 2003. WP:ABOUTSELF makes it possible to source this kind of info directly from the person's posts, so that should work without problem. Chaotıċ Enby (talk · contribs) 20:20, 16 February 2024 (UTC)
- Regarding Greek Wikipedia, while the policies are similar to English Wikipedia, they're administered by different groups of people. Unfortunately, I do not speak Greek so I can't help there, but I invite you to ask there in a similar way. It's better to check if there's any reference in the article linking to a site that has your full birth date, if there isn't any (hopefully!) then there should be no issue removing it. Question from Rugbyleagueguru1990 (07:54, 19 February 2024)
Hey I am looking to create a Wikipedia page on myself, I am a professional athlete and want to create a page linking my accomplishments, career, awards, news articles, etc. --Rugbyleagueguru1990 (talk) 07:54, 19 February 2024 (UTC)
- Hello Rugbyleagueguru1990. While it is not recommended to create an autobiography about yourself. We can only create articles on people if they have significant coverage from reputable news sources, who are subject to rigorous fact checking. I would also recommend you read WP:YOURSELF, which is one of our content guidelines, on why it is strongly discouraged to create an article about yourself. Sorry to burst your bubble, but I hope you enjoy editing Wikipedia! Yoshi24517 (Chat) (Online) 03:02, 21 February 2024 (UTC)

- Hello Hokisuusataja, and welcome to Wikipedia! The reason you cannot create new pages is because you are not autoconfirmed yet. Users become autoconfirmed when they have an account age of 4 days, and have 10 edits. Looking at your account history, your account is 2 months old, so all you would need are 9 more edits. However, because of how strict we are when creating new articles, I would recommend that you publish your article in the Draft: namespace first, where you can then work on it, and then once you feel it is ready, submit it through the Articles for Creation process. Hope this helps, and happy editing! Yoshi24517 (Chat) (Online) 21:37, 25 February 2024 (UTC)
- Alright, thank you! Hokisuusataja (talk) 19:48, 26 February 2024 (UTC)

Hello. Glad to hear about the vandalism patrol. If something comes up, it's great to know you're there. --Lookinaround (talk) 15:04, 26 February 2024 (UTC)
- Hello Lookinaround, and welcome to Wikipedia! Vandalism patrol is one of my favorite things to do! If you want to get started on it at any point in time, WP:CVUA is a really great resource to learn about countering vandalism, and the different tools you can use. Happy editing! WikiCup 2024 March newsletter
The first round of the 2024 WikiCup ended at 23:59 (UTC) on 27 February. Everyone with at least 30 points moved on to Round 2, the highest number of points required to advance to the second round since 2014. Due to a six-way tie for the 64th-place spot, 67 contestants have qualified for Round 2.
The following scorers in Round 1 all scored more than 300 points:
- Generalissima (submissions), who has 916 points mostly from one FA on John Littlejohn (preacher), 15 GAs, and 16 DYKs on a variety of topics including New Zealand coinage and Inuit figures, in addition to seven reviews
- Vami_IV (submissions), who has 790 points from two FAs on Felix M. Warburg House and Doom (2016 video game), two GAs, one DYK, and 11 reviews
- AirshipJungleman29 (submissions), who has 580 points from one FA on Hö'elün, two GAs on Mongolia-related articles, two DYKs, and five reviews
- Sammi Brie (submissions), who has 420 points mostly from nine GAs and seven DYKs on television and radio stations
- MaranoFan (submissions), who has 351 points from one FA on Holidays (Meghan Trainor song), a nine-article FT on 30 (album), and three DYKs
- Skyshifter (submissions), who has 345 points from one FA on OneShot, one DYK and two reviews
In this newsletter, the judges would like to pay a special tribute to Vami_IV (submissions), who unfortunately passed away this February. At the time of his death, he was the second-highest-scoring competitor. Outside the WikiCup, he had eight other featured articles, five A-class articles, eight other good articles, and two Four Awards. Vami also wrote an essay on completionism, a philosophy in which he deeply believed. If you can, please join us in honoring his memory by improving one of the articles on his to-do list.
Remember that any content promoted after 27 February but before the start of Round 2 can be claimed in Round 2. Invitations for collaborative writing efforts or any other discussion of potentially interesting work is always welcome on the WikiCup talk page. Remember, if two or more WikiCup competitors have done significant work on an article, all can claim points. If you are concerned that your nomination—whether it is at good article candidates, a featured process, or anywhere else—will not receive the necessary reviews, please list it on Wikipedia:WikiCup/Reviews Needed. If you want to help out with the WikiCup, feel free to review one of the nominations listed on Wikipedia:WikiCup/Reviews Needed. Questions are welcome on Wikipedia talk:WikiCup, and the judges are reachable on their talk pages. Good luck! If you wish to start or stop receiving this newsletter, please feel free to add or remove your name from Wikipedia:WikiCup/Newsletter/Send. indigo girls page edits
hello,
i added a couple of links to the indigo girls wikipedia page this afternoon, and both were immediately removed. the site the links pointed to is relevant, as it is a long standing archive of indigo girls information and a logical next step for users who would like to download live recordings and/or learn more about the band.
the linked site is not a commercial site and has no advertising, neither does it require a user to register, it is simply a publicly accessible archive of indigo girls information.
thank you for your consideration of my edits,

I'd appreciate your comments on a draft
Hi @Yoshi24517. To introduce myself, I've been editing on Wikipedia for a few years, mainly in my main area of interest (podcasting), but I'm still very new to publishing articles. Today, another user moved one of my drafts into the mainspace. (I'm not sure why, or even where these things are discussed.) and then I saw you moved it back, with a note that it isn't ready. I respect that. I was hoping to submit it soon, but I'm still getting feedback and also didn't think it was ready yet. Would you be willing to share any thoughts with me? I'm editing 3 drafts right now (all podcast producers who are important in the industry) and I'll use your notes to improve all of them. I hope that feels worth your time. Thank you in advance. Podcast Lover (talk) 22:23, 12 March 2024 (UTC)
- Hey Podcast Lover, sorry about that, its not your fault. Some random user decided to move your draft article, Draft:Deron Triff, to article space, but it was no where ready yet, according to the last reviewer note on the draft. I would suggest when you are ready, to continue to submit it through the Articles for Creation process. Some notes I received when I was talking to other editors about it, somebody said it is not ready for article space because
"from the current content, seems to be more about the businesses he’s involved with than focusing on him as a person."
I suggest you take this information in, and try and change up a few things. Hope this helps, and sorry to throw you off like that. Yoshi24517 (Chat) (On Vacation) 19:23, 13 March 2024 (UTC)- Thanks so much for the note back @Yoshi24517! yes, I was working on that exact point when the article got moved. I'll continue to work on it. And will do as you say and submit it through the Articles for Creation process before long. Thank you for the feedback. I appreciate you taking the time! Question from MALAWUOB (20:20, 14 March 2024)
Is a citation of a newspaper when no specimen is available, valid for a blanket statement concerning a polity as a whole? May I remove such claims which are not consistent with accepted facts and are not properly cited until proper ones are provided. In future? --MALAWUOB (talk) 20:20, 14 March 2024 (UTC)

Your help (again) with an article that was pushed to mainspace
Hi there @Yoshi24517. Coming back to your talk page for advice. A week or two ago, you helped me after a random user pushed my draft article (Draft:Deron Triff) to mainspace. You had (rightly) pushed the article back to draft (It wasn’t ready) and gave me some good advice (on focusing the article on the person, not the businesses). First, I want to thank you again for your advice. It made the article much stronger.
But I noticed something a little upsetting and I wonder can you help? After that user pushed my draft into mainspace, I noticed during my research that a link has been showing up in google searches for the person’s name. It goes to a dead link on wikipedia. Well not a dead link, but a link that isn’t a page. I feel really terrible about it every time I see it. I know this will be “fixed” if I get the article approved, and I have submitted it through the articles for creation process. But I also know that can take a long time. Is there any way to get that link not to show up in Google? Do you know? Podcast Lover (talk) 04:05, 27 March 2024 (UTC)
- Hello Podcast Lover, sorry for the very late reply. Was it a link to the article name, had it been in article space? Yoshi24517 (Chat) (Online) 19:03, 1 April 2024 (UTC)
- Hi @Yoshi24517, Thank you so much for getting back to me! I really appreciate it. I have to admit, I don't quite understand the difference between main space and article space... But what's happening is that when you search google for his name, a Wikipedia link shows up in the results. When you click the link on Google, you get to a page on Wikipedia that says "There's a draft for this article at Draft:Deron Triff" Podcast Lover (talk) 02:23, 3 April 2024 (UTC)
- Podcast Lover, first off, no need to ping me while communicating to me on this page, I get notified upon every edit to my user talk page. You don't get notified, which is the reason I ping you every time. Sorry about that! Second off, I did a Google search for "Deron Triff", and no Wikipedia pages show up. I think what happened is Google was still indexing the old article page, and because now no page exists, it finally got deindexed. Hope this helps! Yoshi24517 (Chat) (Online) 00:33, 6 April 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you. I noticed last night the google results had changed. I'm relieved. Thank you for following up with me and also for your kind advice. Podcast Lover (talk) 01:14, 6 April 2024 (UTC)

- Hey RavenAgentDev,
- The Counter Vandalism Academy is a great place to start! They can teach you everything you need to know about reverting vandalism. If you want to report a user, they have to have been sufficiently warned before being reported. In most cases, 4 warnings, and on the 5th, report. You would make a new report on WP:AIV. - Hello Knightknight12345, and welcome to Wikipedia! You cannot block somebody from replying to you, all pages are public, and we encourage discussion among our peers about articles. You can however, as a last resort, ask people to not post messages on your user talk page per our WP:USERTALKSTOP policy. The exception to that policy is for mandatory notifications that are required to be delivered to you per policy. Please remember to continue to offer reviews at GAN, FAC and all the other pages that require them to prevent any backlogs. As a reminder, competitors are strictly prohibited from gaming Wikipedia policies or processes to receive more points.

RCAF Trenton vs. CFB Trenton
The term, as I wrote in the change reasons, is that the name of the air base Trenton at this time was RCAF Trenton, the designtion CFB, or Canadian FGorces Base did not come into use until after the unification of the Canadian military after 1968. So the proper designation, even today is RCAF Trenton or 8 Wing Trenton. 216.67.96.122 (talk) 22:41, 18 April 2024 (UTC)

- And this was all instigated when my name was maliciously redirected to the Marvel Animation page (which only mentions my firing) instead of the previous scenario - where a search of my name would reveal all of my producer credits of animated shows that have articles on Wikipedia. I could not get access to Twinkle to try and undo the redirect myself. So I was screwed over twice. 2603:8000:DF00:1C00:C104:2148:9BD3:5E3 (talk) 17:09, 23 April 2024 (UTC)
- Responding here as I was directed to this on my talk, though paid editing (especially on articles on which you are the subject), is against Wikipedia policy. Please see Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure for a more thorough explanation of this. The article Draft:Cort Lane was moved back to the draftspace and rejected from the mainspace because of this and how it cites many questionable sources without proving WP:Notability of the subject, which I gather is yourself. I restored the redirect Cort Lane to one of the only instances of your name being mentioned on this site to prevent a redlink from being left behind, though I don't see this article being made live anytime soon. Trailblazer101 (talk) 17:14, 23 April 2024 (UTC)
- Also, we are unable to help you on this front since you paid to make an article. That is not our responsibility and you would best have to take it up elsewhere with the company involved, as I don't believe Wikipedia admins have any way to assist you for any reimbursements on payments you made to this free to-edit site. Sorry. Trailblazer101 (talk) 17:17, 23 April 2024 (UTC)

- I will note that it seems WikiFederation has a history of scamming people into believing they will make a Wikipedia article for them for a fee. That is never how Wikipedia conducts its contribution from editors and is thus, even more evidently, a scam. It is unlikely that Yoshi was involved and that the scammers used their username for payment processing. Trailblazer101 (talk) 18:32, 23 April 2024 (UTC)

- The redirect is inappropriate and cruel. That needs to be undone. Sending to a page that only mentions my firing and undermines the breadth and depth of my career across dozens of animated productions where I am credited across Wikipedia was the status quo prior. That is appropriate, ethical and fair.
- The article for me is dead and not being pursued, so the redirect to Marvel Animation is unnecessary. Please undo. 2603:8000:DF00:1C00:C104:2148:9BD3:5E3 (talk) 17:23, 23 April 2024 (UTC)

- There is nothing "malicious" about the redirect. Sorry you don't like it pointing to your Marvel firing only, though that was the instance I found with some of the most relevant details. We can't help you with your financial issues on here and the article fails to meet many policies on notability and paid editing. Trailblazer101 (talk) 17:36, 23 April 2024 (UTC)

Would I be allowed to edit the page to say he is widely considered to be the greatest full back of all time, as stated by (football pundit)? 86.5.92.99 (talk) 18:44, 24 April 2024 (UTC)
- No, you would need a reliable source that states he is widely considered to be the greatest fullback of all time. Yoshi24517 (Chat) (Online) 18:47, 24 April 2024 (UTC)
- I am sorry my English is not very good (Italian is my first language), I meant that for the part in brackets to be replaced by a famous/creditable person, no? 86.5.92.99 (talk) 18:50, 24 April 2024 (UTC)
- No, not quite. And not having English as your first language is perfectly fine! You just have to know that everything on the English Wikipedia has to be in English. What I mean is, you would have to find a website, that is considered reliable, that states that he is considered to be the greatest fullback. You would then have to reference that website in the article itself. Yoshi24517 (Chat) (Online) 18:53, 24 April 2024 (UTC)

Hello Yoshi, I erased some content from that page that I saw had expired pages on it and some libelous content as well. I have some great citations to add credibility to the page which I have been working on, I added her interview on Billboard Magazine but that was erased as well. Not sure why, please let me know, thank you, I also have citations to verify all that is stated on the article, but as I am attempting to update them they are getting erased 23.242.129.184 (talk) 22:01, 25 April 2024 (UTC)

"please cite your sources in the page or article you edited, bringing them here doesn't help very much."
If you need help on how to cite, please read this page. Yoshi24517 (Chat) (Online) 01:46, 28 April 2024 (UTC)

Removal on Jamari Thrash
This content was removed as the current information has now been changed due to the 2024 NFL Draft. Sorry for the confusion, and apologies for forgetting the explination Thank you, and have a great day! Wibbit23 (talk) 19:16, 27 April 2024 (UTC)
- Hey Wibbit23, there was no problem with the updating itself, its just that you accidentally removed the first part of the biography, the first couple paragraphs just after the infobox. You restored it later, so there was no problem there. Happy editing! Yoshi24517 (Chat) (Online) 22:52, 27 April 2024 (UTC)

Question from Guptavipulseo (05:52, 30 April 2024)
Hi, I read about dead links. I want to find the articles and replace the dead links with relevant articles. Also, what is the difference between archived links and dead links --Guptavipulseo (talk) 05:52, 30 April 2024 (UTC)
- Hey Guptavipulseo, a dead link is a website that leads to an error, such as a 404 error, without nothing found. An archive link is a link that is sort of a backup of a website, in case it does go down/ That way, if the content is lost in the future, it has a backup that you can still view, that showed what the website looked like at the time. Could you provide me an example of an article that you saw, that you would like to edit? Yoshi24517 (Chat) (Online) 19:12, 30 April 2024 (UTC)

Question from Knightknight12345 (14:41, 7 May 2024)
Hi Yoshi! I have a question I wanted to ask you about a Wikipedia article. The particular article is an information article. However it is too long and requires cleanup. There is a section in the article that I want to remove. Reason is that I believe it's not relevant and also because it contains an opinionated piece. Also it is kinda biased and not neutral. I tried to remove the section but some mods reverted it. I thought that the section was irrelevant. So if I remove it would it be vandalism? Are the mods wrong? --Knightknight12345 (talk) 14:41, 7 May 2024 (UTC)
- Hello Knightknight12345, I took a look at your edits, and I'm assuming you are talking about this edit: [1] Not sure why you removed the information you did in the edit after this one. It would help if you leave an edit summary for every edit you makes, as it makes it easier for us to understand why an editor did what they did. I have to agree with the other editors. You were bold, and tried to remove a section, because you thought it was not neutral, it was reverted, so now the best thing would be to discuss it. Please do so on the talk page, which can be found here: Talk:Tourism in Pakistan. Happy editing. Yoshi24517 (Chat) (Online) 17:59, 7 May 2024 (UTC)
- Alright thanks. But my removal wasnt this one. My removal was a couple of months ago. I removed an article from the page. Question from Aurafaison (22:16, 5 May 2024)
Hello! I listed some issues with an article that I've worked on (my first and only so far) on the talk page of the article. Would you be able to take a look, or refer me to someone else? Thank you for your help. Hope your day is going well. --Aurafaison (talk) 22:16, 5 May 2024 (UTC)

- Hello, @Aurafaison. On Wikipedia, you have the ability to change the information if you have a verifiable source to be able to show that the information is different. Your two recent questions about the genus name andOn Wikipedia, you have the ability the locations of the bats, you can change because the sources help reflect the change. Your first question, that was sent on the 15th of April, can only be added if you have a verifiable source for the addition. If you do, you can go ahead and add it.
- Could you give me the journal/book that you are referencing from the second question, the one sent on the 28th of April? Images can only be added if they are freely licensed by the photographer or are of public domain.
- I also saw that no one sent you an introductory welcome message that can help you learn the ways of Wikipedia on your talk page, I will send one that will show the different policies and other ways to help you get started! Thank you, Cowboygilbert - (talk) ♥ 01:46, 6 May 2024 (UTC)
