Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Gimel Tammuz. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. Administrator demand - do not edit your draft further until...

[edit]

Your editing behaviour suggests you are attempting to promote or advertise an organisation - the Jewish Educational Media, and that you may be connected with it, either as an employee or contractor.

You have now been requested three times (see above) to declare any Conflict of Interest or WP:PAID editing you may have. Suspected undeclared paid editors are blocked to stop them abusing Wikipedia. You have been asked to declare whether or not you are connected with Jewish Educational Media, but you have failed to respond so far.

Please DO NOT edit Draft:Jewish Educational Media any further without first addressing my concern over your editing activities on your talk page. Failure to respond to that request could result in temporary or permanent withdrawal of editing privileges until you have addressed those questions. Sorry to have to put this so forcefully, but ignoring them is not an option if an editor is suspected of Undeclared Paid Editing.

Please clarify whether or not you have a connection with this organisation before you make further edits to your draft. If you do have a connection, please follow obligatory requirements to declare this, which are found at WP:PAID. If you do not have a connection, simply respond to that effect below. Many thanks, Nick Moyes (talk) 00:32, 9 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

No I am not conected withthis orginization in any way I am not even of working age yet. I do not possibly see how i am promoting Draft:Jewish Educational Media. I made it very neutral. please point out to me where in the article it sugests that I am being one-sided and biased, I would love to fix this. YisroelB501 (talk) 01:55, 9 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@YisroelB501 I did not accuse you of "being one-sided and biased". I am stating that all your edits have focussed on Draft:Jewish Educational Media, and closely resemble those of a Single Purpose Account who attempt to use Wikipedia to promote or advertise a business or entity. That is why I asked you to declare your connection per our WP:COI and WP:PAID policies.
SPA accounts tend to add far too much trivia to their drafts, and innumerable citations, perhaps in the hope of overwhelming a reviewer into accepting Notability of the subject. They fail to appreciate that, quite often "less is more". This is precisely what you seem to have done, and your relentless pursuit to that end has even resulted in you taking and uploading copyrighted content to Wikimedia Commons and claiming it as your own. This is not acceptable, and you may be blocked from making further uploads if you continue to do this. Just making a screenshots of copyrighted videos does not make those images your property!
I am now having to work through all your Wikimedia Commons uploads to nominate for deletion all those with no evidence that they are your own work. You are very welcome to insert a link into those uploads to any webpage that do demonstrate the content is available under a Creative Commons or Public Domain licence. I have looked for, but cannot find any such a licences, or how any of these images you have uploaded could be the original creation of a schoolboy, which you stated elsewhere that you are. Regards, Nick Moyes (talk) 13:23, 9 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Pepsi, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Punjab Government. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Non-free rationale for File:Devar malchut cover 1991.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Devar malchut cover 1991.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F6 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. -- Marchjuly (talk) 07:47, 24 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:Devar malchut cover 1991.jpg

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Devar malchut cover 1991.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. -- Marchjuly (talk) 07:48, 24 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

File:Kehot Publication Society Logo.png

[edit]

I have reverted your upload of a new version of File:Kehot Publication Society Logo.png because it is unnecessarily high resolution. There is no essential detail that can only be seen in a high-resolution version. —C.Fred (talk) 03:28, 28 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

No thank you I will revert it back because its better to have a high quality version than a low quality one and it also has bugs fixed so please dont do that again YisroelB501 (talk) 03:45, 28 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The high quality version is not allowed per WP:NFCC. —C.Fred (talk) 03:46, 28 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
And what are the bugs you allege that were present in your first version of the image? —C.Fred (talk) 03:48, 28 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
the image before was very pixelly and has a lot of pixels you can see even when zoomed out look at the downwards line from the hebrew alphabet Kuf it looks messed up also the hebrew alphabet Hei should have a line around it and to the flower all the way to the right there is a blob of blackness that shouldnt be there
this updated overall fixed the bugs so please stop reverting it back I am going to do it one last time thank you YisroelB501 (talk) 04:13, 28 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I have downloaded the new version, rescaled it, and uploaded it, to get it back into WP:NFCC compliance. —C.Fred (talk) 11:22, 28 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I fixed it for you. You misspelled the name of the article where the file was being used, and this is why the bot removed it. I also added a source, but it would be better if you could provide a link to where you found this exact image. -- Marchjuly (talk) 07:37, 3 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Better source request for File:Devar Malchot cover.pdf

[edit]

Thanks for your upload to Wikipedia:

You provided a source, but it is difficult for other users to examine the copyright status of the image because the source is incomplete or generic. Please consider clarifying the exact source so that the copyright status may be checked more easily. It is best to specify the exact source (such as the web page, or printed document) where you found the image, rather than only giving the source domain, search engine, pinboard, aggregator, or the direct/bare URL of the image file itself. Please update the image description with a URL that will be more helpful to other users in determining the copyright status.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source in a complete manner. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. If you have any questions please ask them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you. Salavat (talk) 04:25, 3 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

it is a non free file of a magazine cover and it is used in an article about a magazine so it is 100% allowed please look into it next time before commnting dumb stuff on my user page and wasting my time thank u YisroelB501 (talk) 05:55, 3 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
There's nothing dumb about what Salavat posted above. Wikipedia's non-free content use policy requires that some way of verifying a file's previous publication be provided, and it's the responsibility of those uploading files to do so. The cover had to come from somewhere; so, all you need to do is clarify where (preferably with a link if possible). Given that many of the files you've uploaded to Commons have been flagged and subsequently deleted for questionable licensing, it might be a good idea to be more open to advice provided to you about file uploads from more experienced Wikipedians like Salavat; he's actually trying to help ensure the file doesn't end up deleted per per speedy deletion criterion F4 and Wikipedia:Non-free content#Sourcing by making sure there's a sufficient way to very the its copyright status. I found what looks to be the same image online here and here, but not sure. If you got the file from one of those sites, please clarify; if, on the other hand, you got it from somewhere else, then providing a link (if possible) or more specific information about the source will help those reviewing files verify its copyright status. -- 07:34, 3 November 2024 (UTC)
