Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia:
- Respect copyrights – do not copy and paste text or images directly from other websites.
- Maintain a neutral point of view – this is one of Wikipedia's core policies.
- Take particular care while adding biographical material about a living person to any Wikipedia page and follow Wikipedia's Biography of Living Persons policy. Particularly, controversial and negative statements should be referenced with multiple reliable sources.
- No edit warring or abuse of multiple accounts.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
- Do not add troublesome content to any article, such as: copyrighted text, libel, advertising or promotional messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject; doing so will result in your account or IP being blocked from editing.
- Do not use talk pages as discussion or forum pages as Wikipedia is not a forum.
The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 01:21, 23 March 2021 (UTC)
Welcome
[edit]Hello, Yellieyellie and welcome to Wikipedia! It appears you are participating in a class project. If you haven't done so already, we encourage you to go through our training for students.
If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}}
before the question. Please also read this helpful advice for students.
Before you create an article, make sure you understand what kind of articles are accepted here. Remember: Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and while many topics are encyclopedic, some things are not.
Your instructor or professor may wish to set up a course page, and if your class doesn't already have one please tell your instructor about that. It is highly recommended that you place this text: {{Educational assignment}}
on the talk page of any articles you are working on as part of your Wikipedia-related course assignment. This will let other editors know this article is a subject of an educational assignment and aid your communication with them.
We hope you like it here and encourage you to stay even after your assignment is finished! Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 02:03, 16 March 2021 (UTC)

Adding social media links as section/table
[edit]Hi there, welcome to Wikipedia. Hope you're enjoying your stay. I noticed that you added social media links to Jang Ye-won in table format as seen in this diff, please prevent from doing so in the future. These links should instead be added under the External links
section even though this is generally not exceptable as per WP:NOSOCIAL guidelines. If you're unaware of this, no worries I have made the necessary changes as seen in this diff. Even though, as per WP:NOSOCIAL guidelines, any social media links should be removed instead, I have chosen to leave it there since many other Korean artist (singer/entertainer/actor/etc) article are having the same structure. At the same time, this is to prevent WP:EDITWAR. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 00:54, 23 March 2021 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Paper9oll. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Ediya Coffee, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 01:21, 23 March 2021 (UTC)
- There is also concern with what kind of information is encyclopedic, and what is WP:ADVERTISING. But here's a simple tip for earning extra credit: how about uploading some images related to Ediya Coffee? I noticed that article doesn't have a single photo. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 06:09, 27 March 2021 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Kakako freinds
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Kakako freinds requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. WWGB (talk) 03:53, 27 March 2021 (UTC)
- Also, please note that Wikipedia already has an article on Kakao Friends (note the correct spelling and capitalization - all important concepts). Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 04:58, 27 March 2021 (UTC)
The article So-yeong Kim (announcer) has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. intforce (talk) 11:31, 27 March 2021 (UTC)
- It's good that you are trying to start new articles, but you need to add references. Also, the subject needs to meet WP:GNG (or in this case, WP:NBIO) and it is not clear currently that they do. Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 03:26, 28 March 2021 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Paper9oll. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Lee Na-eun have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse. Please don't use the Notes section for such content, it is not appropriate. The Notes section is technically the same as References section, behind the code it is the essentially the same. If you would write about her controversy which I believe that's what you're trying to write about, please create controversy section instead. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 12:41, 22 April 2021 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in StayC, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Please don't paste the reference onto the page with using the {{cite web}} template. You can compare between your version and my version. Do note, I have also trimmed the content you added to only states the important points however if you feel the trimmed content is important as well, you are free to add it back. No need to ask for my permission to do so or inform me. However, please take note on the using either {{cite web}} (general links except videos or music) or {{cite av media}} (for videos and music), you can see the instructions for the template usage by clicking the individual links. If you have further queries, you can simply ping me or ask Piotrus to help you. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 12:54, 22 April 2021 (UTC)
Please do not add or change content, as you did at Haegeum, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 14:49, 22 April 2021 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to use disruptive, inappropriate or hard-to-read formatting, as you did at You Young, you may be blocked from editing. There is a Wikipedia Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 14:50, 22 April 2021 (UTC)
- Yellieyellie, please review the messages above and tell me if you understand why your recent edits are not good and have been reverted? Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 04:54, 23 April 2021 (UTC)

Hello, professor? According to paper9oll above, 1). Create a new section 2, not a 'notes' page). Don't just add the link to the reference, organize and add 3). Don't mess with existing formats Did you give me advice on these? I tried to check the edits in detail, but I want to say sorry for this many problems. I want to run away thinking I can't keep doing it perfectly :( I'll take your lecture and do a good job professor! Please let me know if there is a problem with what I understand!Yellieyellie (talk) 22:44, 1 May 2021 (UTC)
- Yellieyellie, Yes, it seems this is the gist of my advice. Also, a very good exercise is to look at how similar articles/content looks, and make sure that what you add looks similar. Don't worry - you are doing ok. And please don't hesitate to ask me more questions! Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 03:35, 2 May 2021 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Largoplazo. I wanted to let you know that one or more external links you added to Bingsu have been removed because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. Hello, I'm Alexataylor07. I wanted to let you know that I removed one or more external links you added to the main body of Law School (TV series). Generally, any relevant external links should be listed in an "External links" section at the end of the article and meet the external links guidelines. Links within the body of an article should be internal Wikilinks. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Kim Hyun-jung (painter) moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Kim Hyun-jung (painter), is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) In addition, there is a question of WP:UPE or WP:COI. Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, and have addressed the UPE/COI issue, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Please do not move into mainspace yourself. Onel5969 TT me 02:00, 11 August 2021 (UTC)
