December 2018

[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Doug Weller. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Susa, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Nothing in the article suggests that Susa has been settled for 9000 years, or that it is one of the oldest cities in the world. Such claims need to be discussed in the article before being added to the lead, and must have reliable sources (archaeological in this case) explicitly backing the text. One Thousand and One Nights

[edit]

Take your concerns to Talk:One Thousand and One Nights and discuss them there. Your edits are reverted, so you're the person who should discuss them on talk page and wait for other users' comments. --Wario-Man (talk) 08:35, 8 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

You - as you very well know - are the disruptive editor here. Stop it, please - we all have better things to do with our time! --Soundofmusicals (talk) 21:06, 8 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Notice of Edit warring noticeboard discussion

[edit]

Information icon Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Wikipedia's policy on edit warring. Thank you. Wario-Man (talk) 10:29, 24 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Please consider replying at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring#User:Xoltron reported by User:Wario-Man (Result: ). It looks like you have reverted about 12 times in the month of January and you are risking a block. If you believe you have got consensus in your favor on the talk page, please link to where that occurred. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 14:45, 24 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Removed my statement about 12 reverts above. My count was off because some of your edits were consecutive. EdJohnston (talk) 22:30, 24 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, but a recent edit of yours has an edit summary that appears to be inaccurate or inappropriate. The summaries are helpful to people browsing an article's history, so it is important that you use edit summaries that accurately tell other editors what you did. Feel free to use the sandbox to make test edits. HARRASMENT has a very specific meaning. Throwing it around in edit summaries is a form of Casting Aspersions. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Ibrāhīm al-Fazārī, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Persian (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Harassement

[edit]

Hi. With regard to you differences with users John from Idegon and Meters, I'm just letting you know that your edits keep popping up on my watchlist. This is not a threat or a warning - I'm just letting you know. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 05:47, 24 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Kudpung กุดผึ้ง, I am not sure what triggers the "watchlist" entry you are seeing either. Actually I am wondering what is going on here as well. Over the last few weeks I have been getting continued and non-stop harassing messages followed up by bizarre threats, on my talk page, started by User:Meters (who has been harassing, threatening and intimidating other editors as well) over an issue that was resolved many weeks ago and there has been no edit warring or disputes ever since. It is basically "I want to pick a fight with you because you dared oppose me 4 months ago!". Just recently he has "recruited" a second person with ID John from Idegon whom I have had no contact with, that is basically helping Meters step up his attacks and threats on me. My only response here has been to repeatedly ask them to STOP, and each time I do this, they follow up with another barrage of threats, intimidation and harassment. This is not an editing issue, it is simply bullying and laying false accusations for several weeks running against me and other editors form what I can see. I believe this *might* come to a final end if both of these editors receive a stern warning to stop this pointless nonsenseXoltron (talk) 18:02, 9 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Xoltron, you have already been given a level 4 warning about this by John from Idegon. WP:ANI is the next step if you keep this up.
And don't add scare quotes to Farsi as you did here. That version was the result of extensive talk page discussion, and we don't use WP:SCAREQUOTES. Just drop it. You might want to read WP:DROPTHESTICK. Meters (talk) 19:06, 4 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Xoltron, you are very new here and I have gone through all your edits, the comments made by John from Idegon and Meters and your responses to them, and the many warning placed on you talk page by other users about your editing patterns. No one has been making bizarre threats to you or harassing you. The fact is that your messages are not in line with the collaborative spirit which we try to maintain. A message like this and this for example can lead to your stay on Wikipedia being shortened very quickly by an administrator and without further warnings. Please be very careful how you use words like 'threat', and 'harassement', and avoid making disparaging comments about highly experience users - or anyone else for that matter. I hope you understand. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 19:25, 9 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Kudpung กุดผึ้ง I don't think you have bothered to check the dates which show that these attacks are continuing weeks after the edits were settled. Furthermore, John from Idegon's attacks against me are not based on any edits, but rather just pointless bullying. I have not made any major edits for months here and yet the harassment continues from these two non-stop. Are you saying that I should just quietly take the ongoing harassment in silence in spite of the fact that the edits were settled months ago and there haven't been any new article revisions? I think you have ignored the fact that I have been attacked here and I have simply asked them to stop. Other editors have received the same type of aggressive behavior by these two. I would suggest you re-examine what your poorly researched assertion.Xoltron (talk) 01:18, 10 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Your comments to other users, your backstabbing , and always having the last word are not making you look particularly good. If you don't drop the stick and refrain from insulting our editors another admin might even consider blocking you . I've tried to be friendly but there is a limit to how far we can stretch WP:BITE. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 05:35, 10 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Hi I am not sure what you are talking about. Also do you know what "backstabbing" means? I am a little concerned that another editor who was also attacked by these two individuals is being similarly blamed, when in fact he/she is really a victim like me. I am not sure I want to continue editing wikipedia after this as you people obviously have agendas here which go beyond editing; and you are using the same blue print to lay false accusations against multiple editors who are being attacked, defamed and slandered in a similar fashion. What are you talking about? Are you OK?Xoltron (talk) 23:04, 11 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Kautilya3 Ah Ok I did some research and realized you are trying to bully me based on a discussion I started on the Indo-Aryan Languages talk page. What you are doing here is highly inappropriate and it's not how wikipedia works. I am sorry that you are apparently angry and upset, but engaging in outright fraudulent accusations is not how we do things on Wikipdiea. Please Consider this a warning and refrain from engaging in further bullying activities.Xoltron (talk) 23:23, 11 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Given your response, receiving a DS-alert was more than appropriate. Calling that "bullying" is misplaced. Joshua Jonathan -Let's talk! 05:28, 12 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
It was bullying. I am not sure what you are talking about regarding "my response". Xoltron (talk) 21:01, 12 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Xoltron, I seem to have made a mistake in giving the alert above. Below is the full alert.

An "alert" is not a warning, but it places on you an increased responsibility to adhere to Wikipedia policies, the violation of which will be sanctionable by administrators. Thanks.

Kautilya3 (talk) 09:48, 13 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Kautilya3 you've been warned before to stop spamming my talk page. Please continue discussion on the article's talk page in a civilized manner as previously directedXoltron (talk) 01:02, 16 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Hello User:Xoltron. Your complaints about Kautilya3's alerts are unwarranted. Alerts are a necessary step in carrying out our policy regarding sensitive topics such as WP:ARBIPA. By their nature, alerts have to be given on the talk page of the person you are alerting. For more, see WP:AC/DS#aware.alert. Despite your critical comment above, alerts are not considered spam and they are not uncivilized. Kautilya3's first alert to you was a mistake because it omitted the name of the arbitration case. He fixed that in the second alert (the second blue box). EdJohnston (talk) 03:22, 16 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, I would take your suggestion as sincere assuming you took due diligence in posting the same message on the 2 editors (so far) that started this bullying and False Accusations against me. I don't see any evidence that you have done so, which makes wonder what the purpose here isXoltron (talk) 21:10, 12 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Xoltron: I might say that we are wondering about your purpose on Wikipedia. --Deepfriedokra (talk) 12:26, 18 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Xoltron, Deepfriedokra is one of the most patient admins we have. They are the one who is most likely to work with you to help you fit in here. If they ask your purpose on the project rest assured it is because they want to help you avoid the likely end result of you being blocked if you continue with your current attitude. Fraudulent Block

[edit]
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

there was absolutely no basis for this block. All I did was defend my self against a flurry of attacks on my talk page by several Indian editors who were apparently offended by my entry in the talk page for the Indo-Aryan Languages article. First, these attacks and accusations were unwarranted, and second, these discussions should never have been brought to my talk page. They should have been continued in a civilized manner in the talk page in the Indo-Aryan Languages talk page where I began the discussion. It is the editors that started this attack and fraudulent block request that should have been chastised. This block is an invitation for more gang-like retaliatory behavior from these individuals. Xoltron (talk) 08:22, 19 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

It is clear to me that your goals and temperament are not compatible with this collaborative project to write an encyclopedia of human knowledge. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 10:47, 19 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, but this is ridiculous. The stated reason is basically "because I feel like it". I am not sure I want to participate in Wikipedia anyway as it is obviously a platform dominated by bullying orchestrated by these emerging gangs united by common personal POVs they want to push, while the so called arbitrators have no interest in seeing through the smokescreens and deceptions. Apparently, starting a civilized discussion on an incorrectly-titled article's talk page is a capital offense on Wikipedia now. Goodbye! Xoltron (talk) 11:05, 19 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
