Thought experiment
[edit]Let's say I allegedly raped a lost duckling in a storm pipe last year. Pretty nasty, eh? Wait, it gets worse. You come along next July, and despite my insistence that we've never met and that pro-duck and anti-duck extremists are both loons of a feather, any editor with a genuine fondness for conscious urban poultry and a financial incentive to make like a common Manhattan pigeon and shit all over you daily could rake you over the coals if this information surfaced online somehow. Why? Because me and you aren't so different, in retrospect and tunnel vision.
Don't disclose anything you wouldn't feel comfortable with your aunt, boss or high-school sweetie knowing, but you've said and done some things to birds (as a kingdom and personally) you'd probably like to forget, correct? Eaten the charred corpses of an entire enslaved and tortured brood of siblings from a tribe widely known among your people for its ease of terrifying? Shot a mother robin as a boy, felt guilty and dedicated the remainder of that "episode" to protecting invasive beings from extermination or defamation at the hands of the majority? Merely ruffled a few feathers on some random turkey, then ran away screaming "It was a prank, bro!", like those social experiments on YouTube.de? Makes no difference, it happened and it's over and we can't go back and I tagged you, Axedel. That much is certain.
But you can relax again, because ducks aren't hot and you're not Trump. And I didn't "rape" that abandoned chick so much as as cup her tender nuggets in the dutiful commission of a slew of lesser offences (impersonating a fireman, interfering with a federal drain, failure to recall an incident). Plus, that's another lie. Knowing how many lies I've spread about bird violation in the short time we've been associated now, do you really believe a bunch of hot-blooded vegan Twitterati are going to trust me when I tell them you're innocent of time travel mind control and devouring the flesh of strangers?
But seriously this time, you're in no danger, real or imagined. Just trying to convey how it must suck to be so flippantly tied to unspeakable acts on such shaky premises, you know? Do unto others as you'd they do you. If you want to horribly mistreat animals to whom you can't afford common human decency, I'll understand, but I'll be damned if I haven't taught you something about empathizing with men and women who are as unconvicted of any wrongdoing as you probably are. Give lying about the dead, lifers and dumb beasts a try, if you need to wean. I believe you're destined for greater things than your recent brushes with libel suggest, and I mean that sincerely. Keep up the good inspiration around here! InedibleHulk (talk) 05:20, 7 October 2019 (UTC)
You have Vandalized a Talk page
[edit]Please DO NOT vandalize the talk pages of wikipedia articles based on your personal agendas, and please familiarize yourself with their purpose. Further disruption my result in your editing rights being revokedXoltron (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 04:16, 3 January 2020 (UTC)
- You're the one who vandalized the talk page by adding conjecture and speculation. David O. Johnson (talk) 04:20, 3 January 2020 (UTC)
- Please familiarize yourself with the purpose of an article's Talk pages. Among other things, talk pages are for discussing editing-related contentions or potential contentions which may lead to "edit wars".Xoltron (talk) 04:29, 3 January 2020 (UTC)
- Don't lie about your activity. You're a vandal. Axedel (talk) 04:40, 3 January 2020 (UTC)
- Axedel, You can't win an argument by being rude and by name calling. Your repeated lack of understanding for the purpose of talk pages is your problem. If you make such a false reference against me again I will make a formal grievance. Xoltron (talk) 22:13, 4 June 2021 (UTC)
- I don't remember this argument from 18 months ago, but I don't think I was being rude. If I called you a liar and a vandal then I definitely believed you were a liar and a vandal, and you probably still are both of those things. I hope you can move on with your life and find more fruitful things to do than starting fights about nothing with random people. Axedel (talk) 00:48, 5 June 2021 (UTC)
- This is another warning to stop personal attacks against editors and vandalizing people's talk pages.Xoltron (talk) 21:31, 20 June 2021 (UTC)

Civility, Vandalizing my talk page
[edit]Please refrain from personal attacks in response to repeated warnings on you against attacks on other editors.Xoltron (talk) 21:30, 20 June 2021 (UTC)
- I haven't attacked you or anyone else. You, on the other hand, have said crazy things about me and several other editors. I'm sure you can find websites other than Wikipedia to start fights with random people about nothing. Do that, or better yet, talk to a psychiatrist. Axedel (talk) 02:35, 21 June 2021 (UTC)
- The last sentence in your previous comment is an outright personal attack. Please stop making comments such as those. —C.Fred (talk) 02:37, 21 June 2021 (UTC)
- Sure, I've got no desire to talk to Xoltron. I don't actually know what we're talking about anyway. Axedel (talk) 02:38, 21 June 2021 (UTC)
