DC Extended Charaters drafts.
[edit]I see that in most of your draft about the DC Extended Universe characters are unfinished. What I'm worried is that you haven’t finished them in 3 months. I managed to made some changes with the infoboxes, but I would really like to see these draft as articles because they are worth of it, but I'm no the one who should finish them. I just want to remind you about these drafts: Draft:Billy Batson (DC Extended Universe), Draft:Lex Luthor (DC Extended Universe), Draft:Amanda Waller (DC Extended Universe), Draft:General Zod (DC Extended Universe), Draft:Steve Trevor (DC Extended Universe) and Draft:Steppenwolf (DC Extended Universe). - Ulises1126 you are welcome to assist on those drafts as well! I can't write all these drafts by myself and they are meant to be worked on collaboratively. Just make sure they have a decent number of reliable sources and real-world notability before publishing them as articles. --WuTang94 (talk) 15:17, 10 April 2021 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Sennecaster. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Zack Snyder seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Sennecaster (What now?) 14:52, 25 April 2021 (UTC)
- Hi Sennecaster, thank you for your concerns. I can see how the later of the two edits may be perceived as non-neutral and I apologize for the poor choice of words I made there, so I won't contest the reverting of that edit. However, I am puzzled how the other one was not neutral. Perhaps I could have omitted some of the words I chose, but I am fairly certain that was a non-biased source that described Snyder's directing style more in depth. Either way, I'm willing to work with you on making sure that meets criteria. --WuTang94 (talk) 16:02, 25 April 2021 (UTC)
- Hi! I'm a pending changes reviewer (PCR) and I really don't have an interest in the article itself. I think this would be better if you take this to the talk page for invested editors with more of a background and understanding of the topic to assess. I can answer why I may have reverted a "good" edit (and parts of it did seem neutral!) FlaggedRevs, the tool PCR uses, doesn't allow us to differentiate too easily between which revisions are good and which are bad, and accepts/reverts get weird if the bad revision comes before the good revision. The NPOV violations outweighed the non-NPOV violations so I wholesale reverted in that instance. Feel free to restore the actual neutral content in that case. I hope this explained my actions :) Sennecaster (What now?) 16:10, 25 April 2021 (UTC)
- @Sennecaster appreciate the quick follow up! Sometimes even a seasoned editor like me can get out of wack, so it's good that people like you can keep me in check. --WuTang94 (talk) 16:15, 25 April 2021 (UTC)

Request for inputs
[edit]Greetings,
Came across your contribution @ the article SEPTA regarding October 13 incident which has been deleted after a short talk page discussion. During some other talk page discussions I came across similar questions about article Vs. relevance of crime to the given article. One user positioned problem statement as ""Which objective criteria to establish relevance can be devised?" I came up with some encyclopedic tools (Since one of the discussion still under way I can't give ref to that discussion to avoid charge of forum shopping) But I have copy pasted my opinion in my user sandbox and looking for and requesting inputs.
Thanks and warm regards
Bookku, 'Encyclopedias = expanding information & knowledge' (talk) 16:18, 10 December 2021 (UTC)
Hi Bookku, thanks for the heads up. I took a look at the SEPTA talk page and it seems logical why they'd take it out from a transit agency's Wiki page, especially if they seem to be citing that no SEPTA employee was responsible for the attack or the delayed time to report it (and I also realize that having this incident in the SEPTA page would be pushing the boundaries against WP:NOTNEWS). Maybe I'd check to see if it fits on Wikipedia as an example of groupthink or herd mentality, or if this incident is notable enough to merit its own page as a crime incident. --~~ WuTang94 (talk) 17:34, 10 December 2021 (UTC)

Ray Fisher
[edit]Hi there. I've reverted this edit because we can't simply rely on Rotten Tomatoes and disregard how other high-quality sources describe critics' consensuses, violating WP:DUE. Please be more careful of this next time. Cheers! KyleJoantalk 07:42, 11 February 2022 (UTC)
@Kyle Joan: fair enough, but as far as I know, the Snyder Cut has received mostly positive reviews. If I find another source that backs this up aside from RT, would that be okay? --WuTang94 (talk) 17:14, 11 February 2022 (UTC)
- If you're able to demonstrate that "positive" is due and "mixed" is undue, then yes. I must say, though, I researched this extensively and found "mixed" to be due. The LA Times, TotalFilm, Collider, The Mary Sue, Syfy Wire, and Metacritic all indicate reviews were mixed. In addition to the positive Rotten Tomatoes score, Screen Crush says reviews were
overwhelmingly positive
, while Screen Rant and Forbes say they weredecent
, which slightly leans positive at best. KyleJoantalk 17:51, 11 February 2022 (UTC)

After looking through that source from LA Times and the actual article for ZSJL, I simply changed the wording in Fisher's article to "most critics considered it an improvement over the theatrical cut" per ZSJL's page. That way I think we can find middle ground between the "good" and "mixed" arguments and reduce the chance of edit wars. --WuTang94 (talk) 18:26, 11 February 2022 (UTC)
- But that's not what that material is supposed to signify. While the detailed analyses on what critics thought are relevant to the film's article, it's not relevant to Fisher. Readers simply need a general consensus. Pardon me if this sounds harsh, but the
middle ground
you speak of sounds like your way of injecting your personal positive viewpoint of the film. KyleJoantalk 18:37, 11 February 2022 (UTC) - Add: CNET says

, while ComicBook.com says bothmixed

. All things considered, excluding "mixed", a due term, in favor of an ambiguous deduction that does not describe Zack Snyder's Justice League as its own piece is not helpful. KyleJoantalk 18:52, 11 February 2022 (UTC)
I respectfully disagree with your sentiment. In no way trying to enforce my personal views; I may have a preference in how I edit, as do you, but am doing my best to keep the tone of this page neutral. I was simply going off what was agreed upon in the prose for the reception section of Zack Snyder's Justice League, which was edited by several other editors.
To avoid conflict from brewing on Ray Fisher's page, I think the article should focus on Fisher's performance itself, not the film's overall reception. Removing an extraneous tidbit of information that better belongs on another page, even if Wikipedia is not censored, is not necessarily "pushing one's narrative". Readers can go to the main page for the film if they want to get critics' opinions on the film as a whole and let this page focus on Fisher, not the film. But of course, I'd rather open this to discussion with other users to solve this amicably and avoid escalating into a heated argument.

Renaming of articles
[edit]Hello, WuTang. I do agree with the idea of developing superheroes as human beings first and as, well, superheroes later because it enhances audiences' ability to relate to them. However, I believe that using that argument to refer to the characters by their secret identities rather than their code-names would be the same as seeing these characters from an in-universe perspective. Last time I checked, Wikipedia encouraged editors to write things from an out-of-universe persective because these articles are for general audiences rather than hardcore fans that want to learn absolute everything from their favorite franchises. This isn't the DC Database, where articles are written from the perspective of someone who lives in the DC Universe.
Well, at least that's how I see things. I look forward to your response. Leader Vladimir (talk) 20:23, 11 February 2022 (UTC)
Hi Vlad,
Appreciate the response. I guess the practice of naming film versions of superheroes started with articles on Marvel Cinematic Universe characters and I just followed suit with other character pages I created, such as DCEU Superman (and all the other ones), Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man and others. I really don't have a strong preference unless there are multiple characters who take up the mantle of a superhero (MCU Steve Rogers and Sam Wilson both become Captain America, for example), but I'm just voting to keep the Superman articles as-is for the sake of consistency. If you change one, you'll probably have to change all of them. That's where I was coming from. --WuTang94 (talk) 20:42, 11 February 2022 (UTC)

No Punt Game
[edit]Greetings. I was just trying to figure out why No Punt Game has a See also link to 2018 Kansas City Chiefs–Los Angeles Rams game? I don't see the connection. Thanks. --Jameboy (talk) 01:14, 13 December 2022 (UTC)
I included a link there as these games were very similar to each other, in that they were high scoring, featured teams considered to be Super Bowl favorites, and were both considered some of the "greatest" NFL games by analysts in retrospect. You can go through those sources to double check, but I won't make a fuss if you remove the link. WuTang94 (talk) 01:42, 13 December 2022 (UTC)
