Hi Vladimir,

I noticed that you have an interest in articles related to Red vs Blue. If you weren't aware, a group called WikiProject Machinima was formed to improve Wikipedia's coverage of machinima, including Red vs Blue. If you'd like to join us, there are details on the project page. — TKD::Talk 16:17, 9 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Redirect of SMBZ

[edit]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on SMBZ, by Closedmouth (talk · contribs), another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because SMBZ is a redirect to a non-existent page (CSD R1).

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting SMBZ, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. --Android Mouse Bot 2 05:29, 9 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of S.P.D. Red Ranger

[edit]

A tag has been placed on S.P.D. Red Ranger, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia per CSD A7.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. Phgao 00:01, 6 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have nominated Fictional history of Superman, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Fictional history of Superman. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Cameron Scott (talk) 19:39, 16 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of X-Men: Nation X

[edit]

The article X-Men: Nation X has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No reliable sources; Wikipedia is not a crystal ball

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Accounting4Taste:talk 21:45, 26 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I've noted your removal above the above-noted prod tag with the edit summary "Nation X will be published after Utopia. Go to Marvel.com for info." Well, that's the point -- the article needs citations like the exact point in marvel.com where that information could be found. At present, there is not enough information for anyone to know what the article is saying unless they already know what it means -- which is tautological -- and I was also suggesting that reliable sources should be added so that we would have some indication that this was going to happen other than your own assertion. I thought you would like the opportunity to bring this into agreement with the basic principles of all Wikipedia articles, seeing as how I observe you've been working here long enough to know what they are, but if you'd prefer that I proposed some other solution, that's up to you. If I can be of any assistance with explaining the relevant policies or anything else, feel free to leave me a note. Accounting4Taste:talk 21:59, 26 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
[edit]

I have removed the plot sections you added to Superman: World of New Krypton and Superman: Secret Origin. These sections were copied ver batim from supermanhomepage.com. Please note that copyright violations are a serious violation of Wikipedia policy. Further copyright violations from your account will result in your being blocked from editing. Someguy1221 (talk) 04:03, 11 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The article Tucker (Red vs. Blue) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails Wikipedia's notability guidelines for fictional characters.

Neelix (talk) 19:04, 10 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Fictional history of Spider-Man. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Fictional history of Spider-Man (3rd nomination). Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:05, 19 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Fictional history of Spider-Man

[edit]

There is a discussion now about an article you are one of the major contributors too. Talk:Fictional_history_of_Spider-Man#Rewrite_and_replacement It concerns replacing the entire article with something fairly unrelated. Dream Focus 10:11, 2 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi this is Eliab, um so I kinda noticed that one of Marvel superhero Spider-Man's abilities in the infobox, martial arts is deleted, but according to Spider-Man's powers and abilities, he is said to be honed in martial arts by using his spider powers due his years of fighting crime, and there's the evidence that after Spider-Man is self-taught in martial art moves that are reliable to his powers, next; there's the evidence that he was trained by Captain America and Shang-Chi, a two martial art superhero experts, so why revert like "Master martial artist and hand-to-hand combatant" in the infobox in Spider-Man? 9:17 p.m. (talk)24 August 2021

Power Rangers categories

[edit]

Because not every Red Ranger ever has wielded a sword, it does not make sense to include all of them as sword fighters. That and if we allow the use of those crazy "Fictional _______" categories, it floods the page and fills it full of unnecessary categories. It's better to just say the are only Power Rangers characters.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 22:20, 3 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Spider-Man

[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to the article but would you mind sourcing it with a citation please. I am trying to get everything sourced on there. You will also notice hidden texts near where you have written if those can be sourced they don't have to be hidden anymore too. Jhenderson 777

Hey can you reverted back his "Master martial artist" and add "hand-to-hand combat" because there's the evidence that after Spider-Man is self-taught in martial art moves that are reliable to his powers during his years of crime-fighting in his own time, he then later was trained by Captain America and Shang-Chi, a two martial art superhero experts, so why revert like "Master martial artist and hand-to-hand combatant" in the infobox in Spider-Man? 9:17 p.m. (talk)24 August 2021

Sourcing Batman

[edit]

I saw one of the edit summaries of your work on the Batman article mention that you might need help with references. I don't edit a lot of comic-based articles, but when I chased up some of the references in the Arkham Asylum article, I found this website to be very useful in finding all the information I needed to make full citations. If you're citing comic issues or graphic novels, then {{Cite comic}} and plus the information you can find on that site should be of some use to you. Hope it helps. Your content

[edit]

You need to have a think about how you are adding content to articles, pretty much all of your edits are writing about fictional objects and characters as if they are real. Please read the MOS, you should write about things from a real world perspective not as if any of this stuff is real or actually happened. --Cameron Scott (talk) 11:57, 24 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of Omega Prime for deletion

[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Omega Prime is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

Hey there, a few years back you were on Talk:Link (The Legend of Zelda) discussing his character image. Unfortunately that image is now outdated due to not including his Breath of the Wild design, plus there's the fact that Zelda and Ganondorf's articles use their Smash incarnations rather than any kind of collage, so updating Link likewise (while including the collage to display his other incarnations) makes the most sense. If possible, could you please join the discussion on the page? Thanks! Buh6173 (talk) 20:58, 15 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

"Antagonist"

[edit]

"An antagonist is a character in a story who is presented as the chief foe of the protagonist." - this is the cited definition in the linked article, so "primary antagonist" is a tautology. Think about it. Chiswick Chap (talk) 07:58, 23 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

A story can have several antagonist, like Lord of the Rings itself does. The protagonists face many antagonists throughout the story (Saruman, the Balrog, Shelob, etc.) but Sauron is the primary threat they must defeat, thus the term "primary antagonist." Renaming alternate film/TV versions of Superman

[edit]

Hi Leader Vladimir,

I come in peace. Just wanna explain the way I see things, especially on why some of these articles are named as such. Even though Clark Kent/Kal-El is widely known as Superman, the films in the DCEU and TV franchises such as the Arrowverse and Smallville focus more on portraying Clark Kent as a person first, who happens to have superpowers and go by the nickname "Superman". The DCEU so far has focused on how Clark Kent battled his inner demons before and while acting as Superman in the public (even if you disagree with how Zack Snyder has portrayed that so far lol) and in the Arrowverse show, especially Superman & Lois, that version of Clark has to deal with his own family in addition to acting as Superman. Smallville even focuses on Clark as a teen, before he became Superman.

The Donnerverse/1980s version of Superman might be an exception to this, as those films simply portray him first as Superman. But that's just how I see it. Feel free to disagree with me, but we'll see what the other users say on the DCEU and Arrowverse iterations of Superman.

Also, if you change the Superman articles, you may need to also change every other page about cinematic versions of superheroes such as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, all versions of Batman (Burton/Schumacher series, Dark Knight trilogy, and DCEU, aka "Batfleck"), all versions of Spider-Man (Tobey Maguire's version, Andrew Garfield's version and Tom Holland in the MCU), Tony Stark / Iron Man, etc. just to maintain consistency across Wikipedia.

Just my two cents, but I'm open to hearing any counter points.

Cheers --WuTang94 (talk) 07:15, 11 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry for coming off like an asshole, but I don't like how unregistered users vandalize articles because they're trying come off as witty or clever, but in the end they just come off as rude and they often try to editorialize their own opinions.

But some edits, such as this one, are not necessarily vandalism (see WP:NOTVAND), and it would be far more helpful to fellow editors if your edit summaries were more descriptive, such as Unexplained content removal, or DUPLINK, etc. InfiniteNexus (talk) 06:45, 20 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
