Welcome

Ok thank you! Sorry I'll be rough around the edges in the beginning but I'm studying business and see a lot of "holes" in these pages that can use some editing and updating. I went to a Wiki meetup group in the city and was encouraged to participate in this project. I'm excited! - First, I hope you don't mind I moved your comment to where other people can see it, most wouldn't look for it in the welcome template. One of the nice things about Wikipedia is there is always the "undo" button. If only life had one... Anyway, do not worry about being "rough around the edges", we all start somewhere, and I'd say you're making a better start than I did! I agree, one of the fun things about Wikipedia is that it can never really be finished, there's always some way to improve it. Happy editing! 78.26 (I'm no IP, talk to me!) 17:25, 21 February 2014 (UTC)
Excellent and thank you for the kind encouragement! Wikiwizard57685 (talk) 18:42, 21 February 2014 (UTC)
Wikiwizard57685, you are invited to the Teahouse
[edit]Hi Wikiwizard57685! Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia. |
Wikipedia is *not* Wiki!
[edit]Hi there! In one of your recently created articles I noticed that you said "My first attempt at adding key people from the VC and PE community to Wiki" in the edit summary. Please keep in mind that "wiki" is not a proper noun, and Wikipedia is the correct term (Imagine calling the Eiffel Tower 'Tower'. It is a tower, but not the tower). There are lots of wikis out there - Wikipedia is just one of thousands of other wikis! Calling Wikipedia "wiki" puts to shame all the other wikis in the universe. You can spread the world and tell your friends not to call Wikipedia "wiki". Thanks, and apologies for the ridiculous (but true) notice.

Dear K6ka,
Thank you for the note and I don't see that as ridiculous at all. I appreciate the candor and will note Wikipedia from now on. Wikiwizard57685 (talk) 15:42, 22 February 2014 (UTC)
The article Paul pignataro has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

To whom it may concern. I may not be thinking about this the right way, but I'm trying to add people who have a following in the finance / investment banking world. Paul Pignataro along with the other authors I have added, and indicated by my edits to Aswath Damodoran's page are well known throughout college campuses at business schools and investment firms as their methods for analysis have helped define and/or redefine such analyses. Is you proposal of removal simply because I have not elaborated properly? Thanks!

Dear JMHamo. I'm not sure I understand this message. Is there anything I should do at this point? Otherwise I'm going to keep on editing other topics.
