Moving categories
[edit]Hi, Please note that moving categories can only be done through a WP:CFD process. You moved the cat of Jewish descent to an incorrect category. Please open a CFD the next time you want to move a category. Sir Joseph (talk) 01:41, 9 February 2017 (UTC)
All right, will do so. My apologies. Werónika (talk) 04:30, 9 February 2017 (UTC)
American people of Canadian-Jewish descent

Updates for Tides (organization)

Hi. Thankyou for your participation in the challenge series or/and contests. In November The Women in Red World Contest is being held to try to produce new articles for as many countries worldwide and occupations as possible. There will be over $4000 in prizes to win, including Amazon vouchers and paid subscriptions. If this would appeal to you and you think you'd be interested in contributing new articles on women during this month for your region or wherever please sign up in the participants section. The articles done may also count towards the ongoing challenge. If you're not interested in prize money yourself but are willing to participate and raise money to buy books about women for others to use, this is also fine. Help would also be appreciated in drawing up the lists of missing articles. If you think of any missing articles please add them to the sub lists by continent at Missing articles. Thankyou, and if taking part, good luck!♦ Dr. Blofeld 08:57, 5 October 2017 (UTC)

[edit]Speedy deletion nomination of Category:American people of Afghan-Jewish descent
[edit]A tag has been placed on Category:American people of Afghan-Jewish descent requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for seven days or more and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Liz Read!
