Hey Voorts, thanks for all your work over at AfC! I'm a new reviewer and I don't want to make any big mistakes (I live in constant fear of accidentally ruining Wikipedia). Would you keep an eye on my reviews to make sure I'm not completely messing something up? So far I've accepted The Assignation (short story collection). I'll try to do a few more today. Thanks in advance for your help! Crunchydillpickle🥒 (talk) 21:27, 26 November 2023 (UTC)
- I don't think Voorts has ever accepted a draft. Pegasussy (talk) 21:38, 26 November 2023 (UTC)
- Happy to take a look. Can you link me to your AfC log page? voorts (talk/contributions) 23:14, 26 November 2023 (UTC)
- One note is that The Assignation has some MOS:SAID issues, so I might have tagged it for a copy edit. voorts (talk/contributions) 23:16, 26 November 2023 (UTC)

- Hey! The previous message made me double check that you are indeed an AfC reviewer, haha, I thought I was going crazy for a second. Thanks for taking a look! I wouldn't have thought to tag the article for copyediting. If you spot me missing something like that in the future, please let me know :-) Crunchydillpickle🥒 (talk) 00:01, 27 November 2023 (UTC)
- @Crunchydillpickle: No worries. That user seems to have been upset that I declined their draft, and has since been banned for doing other disruptive things apparently. Anyways, did you set up the AfC tool to save a log of your pages that you review? That would be the easiest way for me to see what you've reviewed and give feedback. voorts (talk/contributions) 01:13, 27 November 2023 (UTC)
- You can see AfC history using this tool called "AfCHistory" by Enterprisey (here's mine). Crunchydillpickle🥒 (talk) 15:05, 27 November 2023 (UTC)
- @Crunchydillpickle: I've taken a look at the other four. Here are my notes:
- I might have rejected Draft:List of television shows considered the best, rather than decline, given that the deletion discussion makes clear that this could probably never meet NLIST.
- I agree that Draft:Salvatore Cottone (activist) was a decline. I might have also marked that as declined for NPOV or advertising, as it is pretty promotional (see WP:RESUME).
- For Draft:Dave Nayak, you don't need to search outside of the draft for sources. Unlike AfD, at AfC, all you need to do is establish if the sources cited in the draft establish notability. It's up to the drafting editor to come back with more sources.
- Lexie Elliott meets NAUTHOR, and no major prose issues, so that's a good accept.
- Let me know if you have any other questions. Also, here's a cheat sheet of common comments I created for use at AfC. voorts (talk/contributions) 03:14, 28 November 2023 (UTC)
- Hey voorts, I appreciate the thoughtful review. Glad to hear I'm (mostly) on the right track. The cheat sheet is really helpful. Thanks, Crunchydillpickle🥒 (talk) 16:05, 28 November 2023 (UTC)
