The article Steve Lacy (musician) has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. The article Steve Lacy (musician) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
This article was moved to draft space as a result of an AfD, where it is still being worked on to establish notability. That still hasn't met notability standards, and this is far inferior to the draft.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
How does AfD work?
[edit]This help request has been answered. If you need more help, you can , contact the responding user(s) directly on their user talk page, or consider visiting the Teahouse. |
I'm still not sure why my article on Steve Lacy (Musician) still says previously nominated for deletion?
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Onel5969 TT me 19:35, 13 April 2018 (UTC)
- The article twice before was nominated for a deletion discussion. You can find links to those discussions on the article's talk page. As a consequence of those discussions there's a draft at Draft:Steve Lacy (musician) that seems far superior to the current article. Huon (talk) 20:45, 13 April 2018 (UTC)
YouTuber subscribers and views
[edit]Hi Vimal7134! I've noticed some of your updates to YouTuber's subscriber and view counts. A couple of notes: firstly, to avoid false precision, don't quote the exact figures—round them to an appropriate degree of accuracy (e.g. 3 significant figures). Secondly, these counts don't need to be incremented on a near-daily basis—updates every couple of months or after a particularly large jump (e.g. 20% more subscribers) is plenty. Thanks for your edits! You can ask me on my talk page or another volunteer at the Teahouse if you have any questions. — Bilorv (he/him) (talk) 10:11, 17 April 2019 (UTC)
