- Thank you @KylieTasticfor such a rapid response! I understand why it was declined. Can you have a look at how I made it to look more article-alike than an advertisement-alike? Tornikea (talk) 08:50, 23 March 2022 (UTC)
- Hi Tornikea, all new articles on Wikipedia have to show the subject is notable (See WP:N) which in most cases requires significant coverage (WP:SIGCOV) in multiple independent (WP:INDY) reliable sources (WP:RS). All your sources are from the companies won website so not independent. Primary sources can be used to source facts but do not help for showing notability. Cheers KylieTastic (talk) 10:27, 23 March 2022 (UTC)
- Thanks for clarification @KylieTastic, if I added a link for "Established in the United Kingdom" pointing to the governmental company registration website:https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/13533363 would that suffice as an external link to reliable source? (you can google Companies House UK to verify the source)
- If not, can you please delete/amend any parts of it to make it relevant? Really sorry for bothering so much, my objective is to create a Wiki page for Edumentors and this is my first time writing an article. Tornikea (talk) 10:37, 23 March 2022 (UTC)
- No, a companies house registration just shows a company exists not that it is notable as defined by Wikipedia guidelines - See Wikipedia:Notability or in this case Wikipedia:Notability (organizations and companies). As I said above "all new articles on Wikipedia have to show the subject is notable (See WP:N) which in most cases requires significant coverage (WP:SIGCOV) in multiple independent (WP:INDY) reliable sources (WP:RS)". i.e. other independent reliable sources need to have written about the subject.
