I appreciate it, MJL. The discussion has started to veer into outright gaslighting at points. People are casting wild accusations at anyone who either take issue with Eric’s behavior or would like a final judgement on the situation from ArbCom and it is really baffling to me. I saw someone recommend you get indefinitely blocked for starting this case and that’s what made me post my second comment. [Thank you for the ping] I can take solace in the fact that I didn't make my filing for the benefit of the community. I simply reviewed the types of statements Arbcom has historically found the most persuasive, and I based mine of those.

Please help me find a way and place to have a positive discussion regarding Reagan talk page

I do not wish to cast aspersions, run people down, or do anything of the sort.

However, I think we do have a right to know why the big upsurge of participation (which was several times baseline). I can accept that you did not approve of the following approach:

Yes, some of them quite controversial, and plus with a big news item to boot. But I've seen other controversies/news items which did not generate this kind of interest. Maybe it's simply the luck of the draw. All the same, I think it's a good idea to have a polite, even-tempered discussion which basically just gives people a chance to volunteer information, for example, if they've talked it up on another board, have invited a handful of people, etc. None of which I would personally consider all that big a deal, but I do think it's better that our small working group be open with such information, rather than closed. I really don’t like your repeated insinuations that there is something nefarious at play. If you have evidence of brigading, bring it but, but we’re not really going to run an inquisition to see where editors came from. WikiCup 2019 September newsletter

The fourth round of the competition has finished in a flurry of last minute activity, with 454 points being required to qualify for the final round. It was a hotly competitive round with two contestants with over 400 points being eliminated, and all but two of the finalists having achieved an FA during the round. Casliber, our 2016 winner, was the highest point-scorer, followed by Enwebb and Lee Vilenski, who are both new to the competition. In fourth place was SounderBruce, a finalist last year. But all those points are swept away as we start afresh for the final round.

Round 4 saw the achievement of 11 featured articles. In addition, Adam Cuerden scored with 18 FPs, Lee Vilenski led the GA score with 8 GAs while Kosack performed 15 GA reviews. There were around 40 DYKs, 40 GARs and 31 GAs overall during round 4. Even though contestants performed more GARs than they achieved GAs, there was still some frustration at the length of time taken to get articles reviewed.

As we start round 5, we say goodbye to the eight competitors who didn't quite make it; thank you for the useful contributions you have made to the Cup and Wikipedia, and we hope you will join us again next year. Remember that any content promoted after the end of round 4 but before the start of round 5 can be claimed in round 5. Remember too that you must claim your points within 14 days of "earning" them (some people have fallen foul of this rule and the points have been removed).

Lying

I started the talk page discussion, I said the MCU films were not part of the SMU, and you are the one that has been breaking 3RR not me. You claiming otherwise is uncivil and not going to get you anywhere. Instead of telling me to go to the talk page, please stop edit warring and do the same. Instead of saying that I think the MCU films are part of the SMU, please acknowledge that I said the opposite and stop using it as an excuse to attack me. You have continued to insist, without evidence, that there is a connection between the two - first that they were “adjunct” (based off of a quote Pascal herself disowned) and now that Homecoming and Far From Home are in the SUMC. 2019 US Banknote Contest

US Banknote Contest
November-December 2019

There are an estimated 30,000 different varieties of United States banknotes, yet only a fraction of these are represented on Wikimedia Commons in the form of 2D scans. Additionally, Colonial America, the Confederate States, the Republic of Texas, multiple states and territories, communities, and private companies have issued banknotes that are in the public domain today but are absent from Commons.

In the months of November and December, WikiProject Numismatics will be running a cross-wiki upload-a-thon, the 2019 US Banknote Contest. The goal of the contest is to increase the number of US banknote images available to content creators on all Wikimedia projects. Participants will claim points for uploading and importing 2D scans of US banknotes, and at the end of the contest all will receive awards. Whether you want to claim the Gold Wiki or you just want to have fun, all are invited to participate.

WikiCup 2019 November newsletter

The WikiCup is over for another year! Our Champion this year is Better far to live and die / Under the brave black flag I fly Adam Cuerden (submissions), who over the course of the competition has amassed 91 featured pictures, including 32 in the final round. Our finalists this year were:

The Parties pages are linked to the side if you needed to double check, but you remove mostly all of his work with out doing your own research. If you won't look at these pages and plug in information. No one would give these parties the opportunity for a second look and further Research. You seem to be in a similar situation to me - I've nominated Almost There (album) for featured article three times now so I get the frustration. Hey again. Couldn't help notice Jo-Jo Eumerus' criticism of the sound files currently used in the article. I remember receiving more or less the same criticism with one of my own FAs – The Pale Emperor – when I was advised to study (well, copy) the description and FURs of the samples found at OK Computer. Thanks for that. I had also just asked NinjaPirateRobot to run a check, and so I let them know about the SPI. I wouldn't have restored the edit if I had seen it was for a sock evasion, which seems pretty clear based on the behavioral evidence. Tao, you are following me around to noticeboards that have nothing to do with your WP interests, but clearly are a form of WP:HOUNDING as I have mentioned before. Please focus on content and not on what I am up to in other parts of the Pedia lest you end up at AN again. Edit question

Curious as to why you reverted my edit on Return of the Jedi? I did a BRD revert on a change someone wanted to put in, explained it on the talk page and in the edit, but you restored the original edit with a talk purely of "Stop", (which could come across as a bit rude, but that's by the by). Actually the mention of the emperor's death has changed constantly over the years, with long periods of both sides of it. Though I now notice it's never been formally discussed and an actual consensus arrived at in the talk pages, so that's where it should go then. A Song for Simeon, is a 37-line poem written in 1928 by American-English poet T. S. Eliot (1888–1965). It is one of five poems that Eliot contributed to the Ariel poems series of 38 pamphlets by several authors published by Faber and Gwyer. "A Song for Simeon" was the sixteenth in the series and included an illustration by avant garde artist Edward McKnight Kauffer. The poem's narrative echoes the text of the Nunc dimittis, a liturgical prayer for Compline from the Gospel passage. @Toa Nidhiki05: Can you please keep an eye on user Rosvel92 as he continues to be be disruptive by ignoring previous edit comments and reverts by re-introducing prose on what he thinks should be included in the article such as the conspiracy theories surrounding the J.J. Abrams' cut and Colin Trevorow's script for IX; any deletion results in him changing the wording and then moving it to different sections in the article.
