Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Dirty Hungarian Phrasebook may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:

A tag has been placed on Dumb Starbucks, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a redirect from an implausible typo, or other unlikely search term.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you believe that there is a reason to keep the redirect, you can request that administrators wait a while before deleting it. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. The Onion headlines

[edit]

Would appreciate your input on headline examples at Talk:The Onion - as I think I've said before, it'd better to establish a rough consensus on two particularly good headlines to use as examples in the lede, rather than trying to keep them up to date. "'No Way To Prevent This,' Says Only Nation Where This Regularly Happens" is a great one and worth keeping, but "Something Apparently Going On With Mom And Her Best Friend" doesn't seem a great example of mundane-as-newsworthy, when better examples exist. --McGeddon (talk) 18:42, 3 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Worst movie death scene ever, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Why should I have a User Name? Thanks for uploading File:Yahoo.com Main Page 9-4-2013.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 13:14, 4 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

List of assassinated American politicians (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views)

The shooting death of Daniel Crespo was not "deliberate, premeditated murder of a prominent figure, often for religious or political reasons," the definition of "assassination" used here, or "by a surprise attack," used here. Every violent death of a politician cannot and should not be considered an assassination, and there is no evidence to suggest that the shooting of Mr. Crespo by his wife was deliberate or premeditated. At this time she has not been charged.[1][2][3] Dwpaul Talk 13:40, 1 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Series Box Edits

[edit]

While I do appreciate the work your put into these updates, their reversion was necessary for the maintenance of proper style format. The series boxes feature the seal of the highest held office, in Presidents' case, the office of President, and so on. see Wikipedia talk:WikiProject United States Presidents. I will be sending a manual of style for these live soon. The problem is, like for TR, the inclusion of every possible seal and medal is excessive, and gets in the way. [edit]

Hi Tktru. I see that you've been adding honorific prefixes to the infoboxes of US politicians. So you know, there is currently a consensus not use these titles for US politicians. Arnold Schwarzenegger

[edit]

There was no basis for removing the infobox of Arnold Schwarzenegger's biography to one which doesn't mention his gubernatorial service. Moving that down to a lower section isn't a proper action. He was one of only two people to ever recall and replace a sitting Governor in U.S. history. That alone is notable enough. Plus, he was there for over seven years. Being an actor employed in Hollywood doesn't supercede service in such a high public office. Clint Eastwood was a Mayor for a short time in an unincorporated town, that, not this, is the case for non-prominence in the infobox. Also, please use edit summaries. I see that you've been warned about this before, and ask that you please use an edit summary to help other editors easily understand the "why" and the "what" of your edits. I patrol recent changes and know that an edit without a summary is always suspicious to me and more likely to be seen as vandalism and reverted. When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. Deaths in 2018 and the "rule of three"

[edit]

HI. Although not always known to every editor, the current consensus existing at the Deaths pages is for the number of any credits, achievements or (in the case of George H. W. Bush) offices held should not exceed three, and these should be in order of importance. It was agreed in order that any entry in the Deaths page should be concise and not overlong. If you have any queries on this, please visit the Talk page for more information. Thanks. Ref (chew)(do) 07:13, 1 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Huy Fong Foods, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Teochew (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Alert

[edit]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in post-1932 politics of the United States and closely related people. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Please take special note of the custom sanction applied to Jeff Van Drew, explained at Talk:Jeff Van Drew#Discretionary sanctions. – bradv🍁 18:09, 15 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Here is his official death certificate, which is included in the provided source on his page. Pacific View Mortuary was the funeral establishment but his final disposition was at Westwood Village Memorial Park. There is a sentence in the provided article saying “Gigi will be laid to rest near her father at Pacific View Memorial Park in Orange County.” but since the source is using their death certificates for this information they clearly misread funeral establishment to mean the final place for burial. I’ve seen this before when people assumed Cameron Boyce was being buried at Forest Lawn Memorial Park because they were handling his funeral services but he was in reality just cremated and his ashes returned to family.
