Speedy deletion nomination of Charles Ross Greening Doolittle Raider
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Charles Ross Greening Doolittle Raider requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content or organised event, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. —C.Fred (talk) 03:12, 6 June 2013 (UTC)
- Please review WP:BIO for guidance on what makes a person notable. I see nothing in the article you started to indicate that Greening is a significant person. Participation in the Doolittle Raid isn't sufficient, and there aren't any specific achievements listed for his art career. —C.Fred (talk) 17:33, 6 June 2013 (UTC)
- I had another look at this one, and enough secondary coverage to confirm significance. He has been the subject of at least one recent article, and I suspect that with more digging there are contemporary secondary sources available from the 1940's and 1950's. Tiggerjean1999, if you are aware of any additional sources that are not listed in the article yet, adding them would help us understand better if this individual does meet the guideline at WP:BIO. Darya Andreichenko moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Darya Andreichenko, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Praxidicae (talk) 16:59, 22 March 2019 (UTC)
The article Darya Andreichenko has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Praxidicae (talk) 17:08, 22 March 2019 (UTC)

Nomination of Darya Andreichenko for deletion
[edit]A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Darya Andreichenko is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Darya Andreichenko until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.
Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. Praxidicae (talk) 19:05, 23 March 2019 (UTC)
The article List of airplane songs has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
WP:LISTN, the topic is not encyclopedic enough to have a standalone article. Millions of songs have referenced airplanes, but that does not make them "airplane songs".
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. – Thjarkur (talk) 20:21, 31 May 2020 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Beccaynr. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Mika Tosca, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Please note there is an active discussion on the article Talk page. Thank you, Beccaynr (talk) 12:15, 24 October 2023 (UTC)
