Introduction to contentious topics

The Donald Trump article is under enforced bold-revert-discuss restriction as stated at the top of the talk page. That is, you must follow the bold-revert-discuss cycle if your change is reverted. You may not reinstate your edit until you post a talk page message discussing your edit and have waited 24 hours from the time of this talk page message. I understand that. Fact is the lede is horribly one-sided at the moment. My take is that if a similar notable accomplishment is in the lede of another President, in this case Obama’s lede containing the successful raid of Bin Laden, then Trump’s should follow precedent and contain the raid on Al-Baghdadi Thistheyear2023 (talk) 14:52, 10 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
