Speedy deletion nomination of Coyote (2015-2021) (disambiguation)
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Coyote (2015-2021) (disambiguation) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G14 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a disambiguation page which either
- disambiguates only one extant Wikipedia page and whose title ends in "(disambiguation)" (i.e., there is a primary topic);
- disambiguates zero extant Wikipedia pages, regardless of its title; or
- is an orphaned redirect with a title ending in "(disambiguation)" that does not target a disambiguation page or page that has a disambiguation-like function.
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time. Please see the disambiguation page guidelines for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Orphaned non-free image File:Teen Suicide - Honeybee Table at the Butterfly Feast.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Teen Suicide - Honeybee Table at the Butterfly Feast.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 18:32, 7 January 2024 (UTC)

Sign Crushes Motorist moved to draftspace
[edit]Thanks for your contributions to Sign Crushes Motorist. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Eternal Shadow Talk 04:53, 11 January 2024 (UTC)
If this was the first article that you created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
The page Sign Crushes Motorist has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appeared to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appeared to be a direct copy from https://nialler9.com/sign-crushes-motorist-the-irish-slowcore-artist-with-over-1-4-million-monthly-listeners/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition has been be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
Please do not recreate the material without addressing these concerns, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If you think this page should not have been deleted for this reason, you may contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you may open a discussion at Wikipedia:Deletion review. - Hiya, I've moved this page to draft space as I don't see how it meets the notability guidelines. Please add secondary reliable sources discussing the subject in depth and submit the page for review Justiyaya 07:37, 18 January 2024 (UTC) (please mention me on reply)
Cut and paste move
[edit]Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Buds (Surf Curse album). This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. Liz Read! Finding sources for music albums
[edit]Hi! I noticed that you've made a lot of band and album pages recently. A lot of them, like Pill Friends and Loss Memory, cite unreliable sources like social media and Bandcamp or Discogs. If you can, try to find sources that meet WP:NMUSIC so that the pages don't get deleted. Also, it will make sure that the information on them is more accurate. I improved Blue Suicide already, but anything else you can find will help. Thanks and happy editing! BuySomeApples (talk) 22:40, 20 January 2024 (UTC)
- Btw, I draftified some of these articles so you can continue working on them. Once they're ready, you can submit them for review. BuySomeApples (talk) 23:17, 20 January 2024 (UTC)
- Thisdata48, AOTY (and its critic score) is unreliable per this discussion, but its linked reviews are sometimes useable. You could use WP:ALBUM/SOURCES as a good guide for definitely reliable sources :D Focus a bit more on sourcing but this is a really good start considering you've only been here for three weeks. Speedy deletion nomination of Category:Teen Suicide (band) EPs
[edit]A tag has been placed on Category:Teen Suicide (band) EPs indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and removing the speedy deletion tag. Liz Read! Talk! 19:13, 2 May 2024 (UTC)

I have sent you a note about a page you started
[edit]Hi Thisdata48. Thank you for your work on This Devastating Map. Another editor, North8000, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol and left the following comment:
Suggest merging to the band's article. Not wp:notable for a separate article. Zero GNG sources and content is basically just a track listing. Happy editing!
To reply, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|North8000}}
