Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page List of banned video games has been reverted.
Your edit here to List of banned video games was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links in references which are discouraged per our reliable sources guideline (see also this list of frequently-discussed sources). The reference(s) you added or changed (https://www.republicworld.com/technology-news/gaming/russia-ukraine-war-minecraft-no-longer-available-on-play-store-and-app-store-in-russia-articleshow.html) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 06:05, 8 October 2022 (UTC)

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to Marxism, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Thank you. RolandR (talk) 16:01, 25 October 2022 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Brittany Higgins rape trial requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

It has not been established that Higgins was raped

A tag has been placed on List of members of the Solomon Islands Parliament who died in office requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about something invented/coined/discovered by the article's creator or someone they know personally, and it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time.

You have (at least) twice removed sourced information from this article that labels Poland as authoritarian. Please do not remove sourced information from Wikipedia articles unless you have a WP:CONSENSUS to do so. To get a consensus, go to the talk page and make your argument there. If the editors there agree with you, you can remove the information. Removing sourced information without a consensus is WP:Disruptive editing, and can lead to being blocked from editing, as can WP:Edit warring. Please go to Talk:Authoritarianism. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of Eurosceptic political parties, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Popular Unity. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

A tag has been placed on Racism in Fiji requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. Arabic profanity moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Arabic profanity, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs citations from reliable, independent sources. License tagging for File:Fiji Police flag.gif

Thanks for uploading File:Fiji Police flag.gif. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

A page you created has been deleted as an attack page, according to section G10 of the criteria for speedy deletion.

Do not create pages that attack, threaten, or disparage their subject or any other entity. Attack pages and files are not tolerated by Wikipedia, and users who create or add such material may be blocked from editing. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 12:28, 30 December 2022 (UTC)

That wasn't the intention. "Fuck Putin" is a video game and slogan. Thiscouldbeauser (talk) 12:47, 30 December 2022 (UTC)
Creating an article about that video game, if it's notable and the article ideally demonstrates that notability, would be fine. Redirecting to a page section that describes how far-spread the slogan is, with secondary sources, would also probably be fine. Or even creating an article about the slogan, such as done at Putin khuylo!. Just in the form I've found the page, a redirect to Opposition to Vladimir Putin in Russia which doesn't mention the phrase once, it was problematic. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 13:09, 30 December 2022 (UTC)

Okay. If I can find enough info about the game I'll make an article about it. Thiscouldbeauser (talk) 22:20, 30 December 2022 (UTC)

I'm not sure why you'd create a page titled "Fuck [living person]" as a redirect to an article about criticism about that person's actions, but perhaps it's obvious why it led to deletion.

I originally came here and had a look at your contribution list due to repeated unnecessary protection requests for articles remotely covered by WP:GS/RUSUKR. I thought I am quite quick at protecting such pages, to the point of sometimes unnecessarily doing so. When even I have to decline such requests, it's pretty clear they have been unnecessary. So please don't do that; it doesn't help the encyclopedia. There is nothing in the sanctions descriptions that requires protection. The sanctions also make a difference between pages that "mostly or entirely [relate] to the topic area" and pages that don't. The latter are not protected.

...sure... umm... that's fine, I wasn't contesting that. If it's recent obvious vandalism, it's best done at WP:AIV of course. Hello, Thiscouldbeauser

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username EchidnaLives, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I've proposed an article that you started, Results of the 2014 Fijian general election, for deletion because it meets one or more of our deletion criteria, and I don't think that it is suitable for inclusion in the encyclopedia. The particular issue can be found in the notice that is now visible at the top of the article.

If you wish to contest the deletion:

  1. Edit the page
  2. Remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. Click the Publish changes button.

If you object to the article's deletion, please remember to explain why you think the article should be kept on the article's talk page and improve the page to address the issues raised in the deletion notice. Otherwise, it may be deleted later by other means.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|EchidnaLives}}. And remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. Thanks!

Hi. When moving Samoan articles like Mauʻu Siaosi Puʻepuʻemai, please use the okina and not quotation marks. We have the template {{okina}} to make this easy in text; the name can then be copied from the text and pasted into the 'move' window.

Perhaps for Fijian names, you could advise whether the glottal stop is supposed to have a 6-shape like Hawaiian and Samoan, a 9-shape like most of the world, or be straight. Not found in Standard Fijian, but is e.g. in Boumaa, and in our article on Fijian, but we're inconsistent with its spelling. (Please ping.)

An article you recently created, Results of the 2018 Fijian general election, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
