Requesting approval for page Kiarash Behain

Hello Theroadislong,

The page named Draft:Kiarash_Behain was rejected in May 2019 by you for not being notable. Could you please review the modified version and provide your comments? Thanks (Frdo (talk) 14:03, 19 September 2020 (UTC))

Gossiponthis.com, Facebook and IMDb are not reliable sources and will need to be replaced. Theroadislong (talk) 14:12, 19 September 2020 (UTC)

Sea Change Trust sources

Thanks for your review and message re reliable sources for my article. I understand the criteria, but am concerned that Wikipedia is not cited as a reliable source. Please help me by explaining why.

thank you

Because like IMDB it is user edited, I have added a Wiki link to your draft User:Antoncrone/sandbox/Sea Change Trust which is better than using the article as a source. Theroadislong (talk) 09:35, 20 September 2020 (UTC)

References moved

Thank you for your advice in moving references to the appropriate sections.

That's not quite what I meant, I suggest you read WP:REFB for help with correctly formatting sources. Theroadislong (talk) 14:29, 20 September 2020 (UTC)

Article Concerns

Hi. Is this normal for a newish AFC reviewer to submit and then accept their own draft within three minutes? They've just asked at the Teahouse why it hadnt been NPP-ed yet. I took a quick look and am concerned the BLP page seems to serve to criticise a Police officer, and the style is very POV and based on unfamiliar sources, which may themselves be unreliable. (also pinging Deepfriedokra as it relates to a general discussions re BLP pages we're having). Nick Moyes (talk) 22:53, 12 September 2020 (UTC)

I removed the negative BLP and controversies, just to be safe. And no, AfC reviewers should not review their own stuff. Who is running AfC these days? --Deepfriedokra (talk) 03:07, 13 September 2020 (UTC)
@Deepfriedokra: Thanks. I saw this just as I'd got into bed yesterday, so only had time for this hasty alert via mobile. I saw John from Idegon's initial response at the Teahouse and was concerned that the AFC editor appeared to have gained AFC rights and was then to be seen pushing their own (POV/attack page?) into mainspace. John was absolutely right to question why the urgency to get the article indexed on Google, but I'd go further and raise potential concerns about the motives of the article creator and whether they might be here to promote some cause or other. I think their AFC activities might need checking, and, if found to be non-neutral I'd be unhappy were they to seek NPP reviewer rights any time soon. Nick Moyes (talk) 11:02, 13 September 2020 (UTC)
If he's an approved AfC reviewer, that needs to be yanked now. There's more than one administrator in this discussion. Can y'all just do it, or do I need to start a thread elsewhere? Also, I believe it high time we made AfC reviewer a full userright with everything that implies. John from Idegon (talk) 18:00, 13 September 2020 (UTC)
Who granted the approval? I agree, but am asleep.I don't know where to discuss it. --Deepfriedokra (talk) 18:02, 13 September 2020 (UTC)
As far as I can see User:TheChunky has never been granted AfC reviewer rights? Theroadislong (talk) 18:12, 13 September 2020 (UTC)

T'was Primefac wot dun the deed. --Deepfriedokra (talk) 08:23, 14 September 2020 (UTC)

ah yes! How strange that it was agreed with the reason "have seen that it takes too much time after submitting article for review as there are many articles pending for review." I'd like to see the right removed, it's not intended for users to bypass the afc process? Primefac? Theroadislong (talk) 10:49, 14 September 2020 (UTC)

The implication was that the desire was to relieve the backlog. So this not great negative BLP ( and I'm on a crusade here) had the AfC stamp of approval. I've not looked at the rest of their AfC work. --Deepfriedokra (talk) 11:22, 14 September 2020 (UTC)

Oh right, Deepfriedokra I read it as "I don't want to have to wait for my article to be reviewed, so I need afc rights." Theroadislong (talk) 11:25, 14 September 2020 (UTC)
LOL. I'm not going to say it. --Deepfriedokra (talk) 11:27, 14 September 2020 (UTC)
I did find this other BLP they'd created and self-AFC-ed, and then noticed they'd created a one or two-man band wikiproject which is currently up for an MfD discussion (see Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/Wikipedia:WikiProject Chenab Valley) None of these things are hugely problematic on their own, but it makes bells ring if we're having editors bring in poorly sourced BLPs which suggest a possible bias or campaign editing for one particular region, aided by seeking rights to self approve such content. Nick Moyes (talk) 13:34, 14 September 2020 (UTC)
On the one hand, a reviewer reviewing drafts that are not acceptable is not okay. On the other hand, there is no requirement for users to go through the AFC process. If non-AFC admins are seeing AFC reviewers making bad decisions, then there is no need to stand on any sort of protocol to remove that name from the list. I would rather have an editor move their own drafts to the article space (i.e. outside the AFC process) than abuse it just to put some sort of "seal of approval" on it. Primefac (talk) 15:02, 14 September 2020 (UTC) (please ping on reply)

@MER-C: You opinion would be appreciated. --Deepfriedokra (talk) 03:18, 16 September 2020 (UTC)

This is more likely to be a result of insufficient proficiency in written English and other general cluelessness. MER-C 18:24, 16 September 2020 (UTC)
@MER-C, Primefac, and Nick Moyes: (fixed ping I hope) I'm half asleep, but TheChunky needs to be removed from the AfC reviewer list per the discussion on their talk.. If someone else can do it or else show we the link (I'm half asleep) I can do it later. --Deepfriedokra (talk) 16:22, 20 September 2020 (UTC)

Re-submission of Motive Partners - updated sources and less advertisement

Hi Theroadislong,

I have updated my draft page on Motive Partners trying to tone down the language and make it less advertorial. Also I have removed some sources from the references and only included fully independent journalism.

Hope this is better https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Motive_Partners

Looking forward to hearing more!

Hello, there has been derogatory and untruthful categories made to this page, why were they added once again ?

Sam JSD (talk) 07:43, 23 September 2020 (UTC)

Your edit removed for example Category:American Traditionalist Catholics, Category:Christian apologists and Category:Living people, nothing derogatory about them? Theroadislong (talk) 08:42, 23 September 2020 (UTC)
Yes that is correct, I figured that leaving Category:American Catholics would be sufficient to cover the other areas, but there are clearly derogatory categories added. From a non-Catholic point of view someone might see it this way but this is not the case

Follow up on Origin Beer

Hey there and thank you for assisting in reviewing my submission. I suppose I do feel that SF Chronicle and Good Beer Hunting are independent of Origin Beer and reference the approach. Perhaps I need to put up more article that discuss the vision behind it. Do I need more references? I try and get into the forums for help but time is limited and I thought id approach you first. Cheers and thank you for the help. Nile — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2603:3024:C02:E00:6CA6:2D0D:F3A9:96C9 (talk) 18:02, 23 September 2020 (UTC)

I just want to say thank you for reviewing my draft submission.

I've gone back to add more sources to my draft and would like to ask what specific tasks I need to take in order to get my draft approved.

Thank you for any and all advice you can provide.

Reliable Sources for Merc Versus

I figured the links to the Discogs site and an extensive interview in an official publication would be a reliable source. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Concreteshaman (talkcontribs) 09:34, 24 September 2020 (UTC)

I'm afraid not, Discogs is not considered a reliable source and neither are interviews, Wikipedia requires independent coverage. Theroadislong (talk) 09:55, 24 September 2020 (UTC)

Anohni

Hi Road. I removed the birthname from Anohni's page for a real reason, and I did provide an explanation for my edit. As a trans person, it hurts me to see other transgender folks with their deadnames on full display. While her ols name is part of her old band name, there is no excuse to have it in her infobox as if it would be acceptable to continue to call her this. I see this blatant disrespect of trans folks' wikipedia pages frequently, and thus I have taken it upon myself to rectify it. I trust I need not explain further. Request on 09:19:31, 26 September 2020 for assistance on AfC submission by Arijitshis

Hello Theroadislong,

I am Arijit and I am from India. Currently living in a very remote place on earth in India, called 'Sunderban', where life is ruled by two tides and two ebbs.

Due to limited internet accessibility and very poor bandwidth, I have just seen today about you declining my submission on the Article (Draft: SOUTHERN HEALTH IMPROVEMENT SAMITY) I submitted on 24 September 2020, as it was read more like an advertisement. Since then I have considerably edited the same and put references to a range of independent, reliable, published sources.

Can you please go through the same and revert to me at your convenience. I do apologize for not being able to revert to you on time due to less internet accessibility in our region.

Your utmost cooperation and proper guidance are highly solicited.

Look forward to your support in this regard.

Thanking you in anticipation.

Resubmitted Walter S. Feldman biography with numerous "outside" references per your last comments. Are you satisfied? Do I need to do more. All is estate is owned by Brown University's Walter Feldman Trust for the Arts. I have no conflict of interest (i.e no way to monetize his work) other than I knew him when I was at Brown & feel he merits being known to the world. Please contact me if I need to provide more. His career is very long but I focused on the 1950s & 1960s when he was most noted as a "new modernist" artist.2601:348:4100:B9B0:9DAF:61F9:30A2:CCC7 (talk) 16:31, 27 September 2020 (UTC)

Please accept my apologies

Hello Theroadislong,

Please accept my apologies, I certainly never intended to cause any disruption, I'm trying to learn a new skill to add to my business services and made an honest mistake. I was editing the Ski Verbier Exclusive article with the changes you recommended when the article was rejected mid-edit. Therefore I submitted the article again. This was an honest mistake and not any attempt to deliberately disrupt. I'm simply trying to offer a service to my client so that I can earn a living. I've tried using the Kiwi IRC chat for help but am not getting a response. I hoped the most recent changes made would enable me to place the article and am 100% trying to learn the rules and apply them accordingly. Please don't be offended.

All the best,

second version of the draft "Diane Andersen"

hello the-road-is-long, thank you for your prompt feedback I think that pianist Diane Andersen has her place on Wikipedia; by the number of her 33 rpm recordings and CDs; by the young talents she helps to discover; by the forgotten composers she helps to rediscover ... As far as bibliographical references are concerned, the Royal Academy of Belgium and the Queen Elisabeth Competition (of Belgium) are secondary sources of the highest quality. I cannot immediately find primary sources; consequently, I have added the banner "This article needs additional citations ..." Concerning the discography, I have added references (in French) such as LeMonde and Resmusica. And I discovered English references like MusicWeb International ... and Wikipedia english! What do you think of this new version? Yours sincerely Guy — Preceding unsigned comment added by Guy beersel (talkcontribs) 08:40, 29 September 2020 (UTC)

St. Mary's Sports- 16 teams not 17 discussion.

Thank you for recognizing I made a good-faith edit. Here is the website information when you search for St. Mary's sports on Google. The link I added brings you to the sports page of the university where you will count there are 16 sports teams. Can we change the page to the correct number?

Athletics | Saint Mary's College www.stmarys-ca.edu/athletics Athletics. With 16 NCAA Division 1 teams including basketball, soccer, cross-country, softball, and baseball fielded from 2,800 undergraduate students, athletics truly unifies our student body. Saint Mary's sends more than 300 Division 1 athletes to the field, course, court, track, and water to compete at the highest level as the only liberal arts college in the West Coast Conference. — Preceding unsigned comment added by RobotDaneellives (talkcontribs) 08:45, 1 October 2020 (UTC)

Deletion of Fotis Sotiropoulos from Stony Brook University Wikipedia

Effective today, Fotis Sotiropoulos is the interim provost for Stony Brook University.

Appointment of Dr. Fotis Sotiropoulos as Interim Provost

To All Stony Brook University Faculty and Staff, Stony Brook Medicine Faculty, It is my pleasure to announce that Dean of the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences (CEAS) and SUNY Distinguished Professor of Civil Engineering, Fotis Sotiropoulos, has agreed to serve as Interim Provost until the national search for a provost is successfully completed. Professor Sotiropoulos has accepted this appointment at a moment when the role of provost encompasses an unusually broad scope and scale of responsibilities. In addition to leading the academic community as we navigate the ongoing planning and response to the challenges presented by the global pandemic, the Interim Provost will also be a critical member of the executive leadership team. Sotiropoulos’ established experience in strategic planning and building academic excellence will be a wonderful addition to the team as we consider how best to achieve financial sustainability and develop a roadmap for short-, medium- and long-term strategies to ensure Stony Brook’s emergence as a stronger institution. In his five years as Dean of CEAS, Fotis Sotiropoulos has led an initiative to reimagine engineering education, a model for engineering schools around the nation, and achieved significant growth in research, diversity and student success. Recently, the College launched its new strategic plan, Making Science Fiction Come to Life, a guide for reinventing the future of engineering and applied sciences. Fotis earned his diploma in mechanical engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, his MS in Aerospace Engineering from Penn State University, and his PhD in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Cincinnati. An accomplished scholar, Dean Sotiropoulos has raised over $35M for research and facility development and renovation. His research has focused on simulation-based engineering science for fluid mechanics, problems in renewable energy, and environmental, biological, and cardiovascular applications. He has authored over 200 peer-reviewed journal papers and book chapters and his research results have been featured on the cover of several prestigious journals. In 2017, Fotis was named a SUNY Distinguished Professor and received the Hunter Rouse Hydraulic Engineering Award from the American Society of Civil Engineers and in 2019 he was awarded the Borland Lecture in Hydraulics Award by the American Geophysical Union. Dean Sotiropoulos is a Fellow of the American Physical Society (APS) and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), has twice won the APS Division of Fluid Dynamics Gallery of Fluid Motion (2009, 2011), and is also a recipient of a Career Award from the National Science Foundation. He is also a 2014 distinguished lecturer of the Mortimer and Raymond Sackler Institute of Advanced Studies at Tel Aviv University and has served on the editorial boards of various journals. Prior to joining Stony Brook, Dean Sotiropoulos was the James L. Record Professor of Civil, Environmental and Geo-Engineering; Director of the St. Anthony Falls Laboratory; and Director of the EOLOS wind energy research consortium at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. Prior to that, he was on the faculty of the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology, with a joint appointment in the G. W. Woodruff School of Mechanical Engineering. I am so pleased that an accomplished scholar with Fotis’ experience and commitment has answered the call to provide strong academic leadership at this critical time for the University. As he will not be a candidate in our search for a provost, Fotis will return to his deanship at the end of his service as Interim Provost. I know that his inspiring scholarship, strategic thinking, and enthusiasm for inclusive excellence will be a valuable addition to our team. Please join me in congratulating Fotis and supporting him as Interim Provost.

About Your Comment on Draft: Monira Qais

Most of articles that mention her are written in Bengali, and are not available online. So you can not "find" where she is mentioned in the references. Moreover, in the reference, her name is misspelled as "Kayes" (It often happens when a Bengali Name is written in English by a person who does not know what spelling she uses.) If you still want, I can provide manual references of her mentions in Bengali which you cannot find online and/or read it (assuming that you do not know Bengali Language) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.43.230.121 (talk) 16:09, 1 October 2020 (UTC)

I have followed every single one of your requests to use credible and independent credible sources to reference the wikipedia page for Margaret Paul. Would it be better to have Margaret create and edit her own page? I've never created a wikipedia page before and didn't know there would be so many silly rules. There are tons of loosely credible and downright false information sources on wikipedia pages but why can't there be a page for an actual published and practicing therapist that helps people? Hello Theroadislong, in correspondence to your recent decline of the submission for ID:981483712, it appears there is some difficulty understanding which references you are deeming to be lacking notability. I have extensively studied the guidelines for wikipedia contributions on notability for independent sources. From my perspective the sources I provided meet the wiki guidelines. It would helpful if you could be specific and elaborate as to which sources you're claiming to in order to improve my performance and quality of work. zgover (talk) 17:22, 2 October 2020 (UTC)

Thanks for the contact and feedback. Obviously this is the first time I have attempted anything like this (editing a Wiki page) and I seem to go from one mudbath into another. I have asked another editor if he would help me, I wait a reply. I really don't plan to take this up as a career but want to do my best to improve the existing Clan Hunter site. I had no idea is was such a complicated and complex exercise. — Preceding unsigned comment added by CharlesDennisHunter (talkcontribs) 14:21, 3 October 2020 (UTC)

CharlesDennisHunter It is complicated because you have conflict of interest with regards to this article and you are limited to making edit requests on the talk page Talk:Clan Hunter here, in the form of please change x to y with a supporting independent reliable source. I'm afraid that you are not sufficiently notable for inclusion in Wikipedia yet, click the link for details of the criteria and good luck with your career. Theroadislong (talk) 18:42, 3 October 2020 (UTC)

Theroadislong - Thank you very much for the feedback. I was only using the Sandbox to draft up an edit to discuss before considering an edit of the existing Clan Hunter site. I understand that the existing page should be edited rather than replacing with a new version. Because I have not done this before obviously I am making a lot of errors for which I apologise if offence given. What I thought would be a simple affair (to improve the Clan Hunter Wiki page) is clearly not. I will try to deal with the copyright issues on the photos and artwork tomorrow (I'm in W Australia so big time difference to most other commentators). I understand the photo of the Clan Chief has been rejected because of poor focus but it was the best one I had. This may be omitted from the page till I have a better one from my sister. With regard to the copy in the Early History section - it will be difficult for me to properly reference this beyond the explanations given in the copy (witnessed to, named in etc.). My research papers are at Hunterston and I do not live there or have access to them easily. If these comments have to be referenced more accurately then this will all have to wait until that may be dealt with by me in the distant future (re Covid/travelling Australia to UK - probably 2 years away at least...). I have now entered my CoI declaration as advised by Timtrent. CharlesDennisHunter (talk) 19:21, 3 October 2020 (UTC)

Hello, You recently declined my article, I'm not sure why? I provided a lot sources for the subject. Explore talent and Amazon are not reliable sources and the newspaper is a local newspaper so coverage which didn't seem to be ebnough to pass WP:GNG. Also the sources need to be placed after the content they support, see WP:REFB for help with formatting references Theroadislong (talk) 06:35, 4 October 2020 (UTC)

Hi,

I have updated the HEMPRESS SATIVA Wikipedia page months ago following your comments.

Do you have any update, please?

Many thanks

Any suggestions on how they pass the criteria at WP:NMUSICIAN, happy to accept if they do. Theroadislong (talk) 17:06, 4 October 2020 (UTC)

Hi,

Many thanks for your help and work. You ask me to removed all external link that wikipedia don't use. How to know which external link is not correct according to wikipedia ? What is an external link for you? I really want to do it right :-)

Here, you can find your commentary : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Jonathan_Kubben

I have already looked at the list here : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:External_links#Links_normally_to_be_avoided but I must admit that I do not see where are the bad link that you tell me about in my text. :-( — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jonathan Kubben (talkcontribs) 18:22, 4 October 2020 (UTC)

Many thanks ! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jonathan Kubben (talkcontribs) 18:15, 4 October 2020 (UTC)

For example in the first paragraph you have a link to https://guce.huffingtonpost.co.uk/copyConsent?sessionId=3_cc-session_d3b46d71-2823-429d-b864-ad7f3c718f12&inline=false&lang=en-gb which needs to be removed, Wikipedia doesn't use any external links in the body of an article only in the external links section at the end. Theroadislong (talk) 18:24, 4 October 2020 (UTC)

Ok. I understand. Just to be sure : do external links have an arrow on the right side? Many thanks ! Jonathan Kubben —Preceding undated comment added 18:37, 4 October 2020 (UTC)

Thanks for the question. He was a notable and prominent Christian leader in the state of Arkansas, USA, for numerous reasons. However, your question does raise a good suggestion. I think I will edit the article with a notable section (and citations) to specifically highlight the reasons. Thanks! MonasticScribe (talk) 14:15, 11 October 2020 (UTC)

Fuglenes (Norway)

Thank you for accepting Fuglenes (Norway). I was wondering how would you move Fuglenes (Norway) to Fuglenes? Fuglenes was originally a redirect to SS Justinian (before I redirected it to Fuglenes (Norway). SS Justinian was only called Fuglenes for a year (1946). At the top of the Fuglenes (Norway) page it has a link to SS Justinian - so if anyone was to be referring to the ship they would find it.

Hi Administrator

Hi, hope you are great I asked the question two days ago in the Tea House, where i was told that the "title will be changed after AFC reviewer" but it has not been yet. The singer Draft:Amanat_Ali_(born_1987) has been notable since 2007. He was runner-up, nominated and won mirchi music award 2010 so according to me he has passed the notability of the musician. two editors were working on the article as well, I am not hired by anyone and I am not being paid by him or anyone else, if they were paying i would have mentioned here. I edited this article because someone has been working since last year, but the article was deleted because no one worked for 6 months, I am not telling you to review but title change request (where as it has mention born 1987 it has to be singer) as i was told by editor in the Tea House.

--CGOV (talk) 08:52, 10 October 2020 (UTC)

I am not an administrator, but I have moved your draft to the correct title for you. Theroadislong (talk) 08:57, 10 October 2020 (UTC)
@Theroadislong: Hi, sorry about that, but the way you responded to the query you really deserved to be an administrator. Thank and good luck :)

--CGOV (talk) 09:04, 10 October 2020 (UTC)

@Theroadislong: One more question: is there anyway to speed up the review process? It was in draft since past 6 months than it was deleted, and according to me the person is passing WP:Nmusic. I am not the creator of this page, someone else created it. Last week his baby was born and all the media was sharing news about him. When I searched for him on Wikipedia, I found no article about him. Therefore, I updated and re-created this article and if you can have a look at my first article it would be great. There are many news about him on Indian and Pakistani news websites such as Times of India, Deccan, Dawn etc.

This person has won one music award and was a 2nd runner up in a music show. --CGOV (talk) 13:54, 11 October 2020 (UTC)

Not a notable award though? CGOV. Theroadislong (talk) 14:00, 11 October 2020 (UTC)
@Theroadislong: Indipop song of the year 2010 for his album 'Kohraam'3rd_Mirchi_Music_Awards according to the Times of India and others. won SaReGaMaPa 2007 east challenge and was the 2nd runner up.

--CGOV (talk) 14:08, 11 October 2020 (UTC)

OK I just accepted it. Theroadislong (talk) 14:12, 11 October 2020 (UTC)

You put comment: " Comment: zero sources so zero chance of being accepted. This [1] is NOT an acceptable source it is a primary document and cannot be used to establish any notability. Theroadislong (talk) 21:55, 11 October 2020 (UTC)" The topic is discussed at talk by Eagleash, can we keep it at one place?

Your comment is very short, and I can't see your point. Could you expand it for me?

I think the conversation at talk by Eagleash is taking up the issues you are referring to but please, expand your point?

I think you are not aware of the Swedish employment certificates state as reference?

--Zzalpha (talk) 23:40, 11 October 2020 (UTC)

As you have been told there "Wikipedia requires in-depth coverage in multiple reliable sources which must be independent of the subject. Primary sources are not acceptable in establishing notability. Unless you can provide multiple independent sources (mainstream publications etc.) the page cannot be accepted". Theroadislong (talk) 06:58, 12 October 2020 (UTC)

I realize you may be trying to help, Theroadislong, but all 50 of my edits were made BEFORE any request to discuss them on the talk page. That is the problem here! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2003:D8:8F2C:3600:CD44:F39F:EF1F:F48F (talk) 13:21, 13 October 2020 (UTC)

Be aware that I stopped work on the Wikipedia project last week when the "Twinkle" tool was used against me. Normally I make contributions nearly every day. But I was truly disgusted by that. Not how I thought Wikipedia operated.

Today, however, I proceeded to follow the pointers provided by the Teahouse on the article under discussion, and doing this (an edit-summary catch-up) has taken time, as you can imagine. Instead of a constructive response, though, all that came was a knee-jerk undo — of everything — by this User:Maineartists. If Wikipedia can't protect my considerable efforts in some way, I owe it to myself not to participate. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2003:D8:8F2C:3600:CD44:F39F:EF1F:F48F (talk) 13:34, 13 October 2020 (UTC)

Twinkle is a tool used for the greater good of Wikipedia. If you’re disgusted from a tool that is helping Wikipedia, you can leave. You also can’t be offended when editors are just trying to do their jobs. Wikipedia doesn’t protect edits. If you are offended when someone reverts your work, Wikipedia isn’t the right place for you. You need to have somewhat of a thick skin. I have put hours of blood, sweat and tears into articles and they have been reverted. Also: you have five edits, three of which are in the mainspace. So please stop this "50 edits" thing, it’s not a funny joke. D🐶ggy54321 (let's chat!) 13:39, 13 October 2020 (UTC)

In fact I did make 50 revisions, exactly 50. Over three days. It was a lot of work. (My IP address moves around because of government privacy policy here in Germany.) But there are indeed 50 edits, Doggy. From Wikipedia:Twinkle, "Anti-vandalism tools, such as Twinkle, Huggle, and rollback, should not be used to undo good-faith changes unless an appropriate edit summary is used." The opponents have provided no edit summary because they haven't taken the trouble to review where the page stands after my work. Like you, I have had reversals in the past, several. But never a wholesale thing like this. It is unacceptable because I did the work for three days UNAWARE that anyone was bothered by it. Normally if there is a problem, an orange note about a "new message" appears, just like the one from Theroadislong this afternoon. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2003:D8:8F2C:3600:CD44:F39F:EF1F:F48F (talk) 14:01, 13 October 2020 (UTC)

A) This is not an opponent situation. You are not fighting with anyone. You are editing with fellow editors trying to come to a consensus. B) maybe consider getting an account then if your IP changes often. C) I can’t vouch for Twinkle or Huggle, but with rollback you can’t add an edit summary, as it is a tool used for fighting vandalism.
Stop. Reverting. My. Edit. I will be updating your log at the admin's notice board to include that revert. D🐶ggy54321 (let's chat!) 14:13, 13 October 2020 (UTC)

They are NOT "trying to come to a consensus." They have made no indication at all of what they object to! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2003:D8:8F2C:3600:CD44:F39F:EF1F:F48F (talk) 14:22, 13 October 2020 (UTC)

Disney family

Thank you for your message! I do disagree with you as the information contained in this link is unavailable elsewhere and I feel it is relevant to this family.

But, this is a matter of opinion and obviously we disagee.

I appreciate Wikipedia but think some editors are misinformed as to content that is appropriate or inappropriate. I also disagree with the policy that considers information on Find-A-Grave sites as irrelevant. These sites very often more than not, are a whole great tool for information that is usually not available anywhere else!

At least I would be open to Find-A-Grave information that is hopefully submitted with all good intentions.

My best to you!
