Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing other editors' contributions at Suva Reka. Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is known as "edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to lose their editing privileges. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Hashim Thaçi and elsewhere

Hi Therandas. Please stop changing historical city names. For example, when Hashim Thaçi was born, the city he was born in was part of the Socialist Republic of Serbia where it was referred to as "Srbica" so we use that. We also indicate that the city is now part of Kosovo where it is referred to as "Skenderaj".

This way of dealing with disagreements over naming has served Wikipedia well. Don't you think it's a decent compromise?

The city name had two names during Yugoslavia and Skenderaj is very often used as well during that time. Srbica was the Serbian version of the city name. Kosovo has two official languages and since Skenderaj/Srbica is majority Albanian, it is preferred to use the Albanian version of the city. Therandas (talk) 22:08, 1 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

These names are not “historical” but rather the second name version. Srbica is the Serbian variant and is not used anymore (see main wiki page of Skenderaj). Historic city names

Can you explain edits like this and this? You made dozens of such edits. Wikipedia's consensus is to use historic city names when referring to past events. In 1984, the city was indeed called Titova Mitrovica. Why did you change it? Vanjagenije (talk) 11:20, 7 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The articles I edited are being vandalized by Serbian bots who keep changinng the city/town/village names to their Serbian version. However the Serbian version is unsourced and false. Nobody has taken any action towards this. My blocking is unfair and has nothing to do with my edits. When you read my edits and the source behind you will see that it matches.
