Welcome
[edit](ec)Hi,there are no moderators, the Wikipedia is not an Internet forum. What we do have are a lot of people, just like you, who are interested enough not just to write articles, but to help ensure that he Wikipedia really is kept as an encyclopedia, and doesn't get used for free advertising, or every one who thinks he has a PhD can have a page here. That said, although we have no special privileges, we know the rues well, and we can indeed warn each other when they are going OTT, have pages deleted, and users blocked or banned. Anyone one who has a user account can do this - you don't have to wait to be chosen as a moderator like you would on a web forum.
That said, let me give you some links to our fundamental policies that you can click on and read. They will explain what it needs to be notable enough to have a page, they will explain how the notability must be proven, and they will explain that people cannot write articles about themselves. I don't know everything about the Wikipedia, nobody knows it all, but I know the basic policies well enough to answer any questions you might have, so don't hesitate to ask. Click these links:
