Hi there. Back in 2005, you argued to keep this article at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Jody Dunn. However, Wikipedia has changed since then, and I believe she no longer meets our standards for inclusion. I have re-nominated the article for deletion; your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Jody Dunn (2nd nomination). Robofish (talk) 23:00, 7 September 2009 (UTC)
Egypt deletion sorting
[edit]Something is going wrong with Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Austria–Egypt relations and Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Egypt–Kazakhstan relations. Despite being closed in April they still appear on Wikipedia:WikiProject Deletion sorting/Egypt, and yet they also appear several times in the archive, apparently being archived (again) at the same time as any other debate transcluded on the Egypt deletion sorting list is archived. Thryduulf (talk) 19:57, 20 September 2009 (UTC)
- Just to let you know, I'm working on this, and a number of other issues with the bot. the wub "?!" 20:40, 22 September 2009 (UTC)
The same problem is happening with Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of programs broadcast by Indosiar at Wikipedia:WikiProject Deletion sorting/Indonesia. Thryduulf (talk) 10:28, 14 October 2009 (UTC)
- And with Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Leigh Alderson at Wikipedia:WikiProject Deletion sorting/Northern Ireland. Thryduulf (talk) 13:38, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
- And with Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Pékin Fine Arts at Wikipedia:WikiProject Deletion sorting/China. Thryduulf (talk) 13:45, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
- Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Tunes of Heaven at Wikipedia:WikiProject Deletion sorting/Bangladesh is also exhibiting this behaviour. Thryduulf (talk) 19:42, 5 November 2009 (UTC)
- Ditto Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Austria-Egypt relations at Wikipedia:WikiProject Deletion sorting/Austria (perhaps interestingly it didn't have any issues on the Egypt list), and several AfDs at Wikipedia:WikiProject Deletion sorting/Finland, Thryduulf (talk) 00:28, 18 November 2009 (UTC)
Question
[edit]I was going through my watchlisted pages, and I found Phil Sandifer had been deleted by you (eons ago!). I was wondering, was it Phil S. the WP user: or the songwriter? Also, I might as well ask why it was deleted. Thanks in advance, Best regards, Hamster Sandwich (talk) 01:06, 13 October 2009 (UTC)
- The Wikipedia user and comics enthusiast. It was only a redirect I cleaned up, after the main article [1] had been deleted. You can find the debate and the closing admin's (extensive) reasoning at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Philip Sandifer, although I seem to remember this was one of those dramafests where it spilt over to other places. the wub "?!" 09:58, 13 October 2009 (UTC)
- Oi! That is a convoluted thing to read, for sure. The best thing about reading it was seeing the name of one of the (IMO) good eggs (Splash) around WP. The worst thing about reading all that was the realization that people can actually recieve PhD's in comics. It's a funny old world, in't it? Thanks for taking the time to dig that out for me! Best regards, Hamster Sandwich (talk) 23:20, 13 October 2009 (UTC)
Cambridge meetup 14 November
[edit]Another Cambridge meetup is planned for the afternoon of Saturday 14 November. Please contribute to the page and come along if you can. Charles Matthews (talk) 14:34, 16 October 2009 (UTC)
You reverted an edit on this page about a year ago as vandalism - correctly. I just came across the page from exploring a vague thread, expanded it, then checked history and saw I had added back some of the assertions that were removed. I think the article is neutral, factual and well-sourced, but would appreciate a quick review. It is obviously a sensitive subject. Thanks, Aymatth2 (talk) 00:30, 19 October 2009 (UTC)
The wubbot
[edit]Are you and The wubbot on vacation? I see that WP:DSI hasn't been touched in a few days, and the page is too large to sift through for active discussions. If I don't hear back from you in a day, I'll assume you're on vacation and will do the archiving manually. cheers. -SpacemanSpiff 16:23, 23 October 2009 (UTC)
- I just got back off my holiday, looks like the bot threw a wobbly while I was gone. I'm catching up now. the wub "?!" 20:49, 23 October 2009 (UTC)
- Ah, ok. Glad it's back to normal. cheers. -SpacemanSpiff 00:05, 24 October 2009 (UTC)

wubbot archiving
[edit]Hey, at Wikipedia:WikiProject Deletion sorting/Ice hockey wubbot misses the Joey Fisher afd. I realize its probably because it was closed with a privacy template. And I am more than capable of manually archiving it. But I thought you might want to adjust the bot for this sort of close template. -DJSasso (talk) 13:17, 9 December 2009 (UTC)
Christmas no 1
[edit]Sorry, I thought it had been confirmed already. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Symphonia87 (talk • contribs) 18:26, 20 December 2009 (UTC)
- That's alright. It's looking pretty likely, but we should really wait for the official results. I'm sat by my radio right now waiting to hear, and hoping RATM have made it! the wub "?!" 18:28, 20 December 2009 (UTC)
Hi, The Wubbot's been to WP:DSI a few times over the past couple of days, but appears to be missing two AfDs, don't know why, they look like normal closes, could you check? cheers. -SpacemanSpiff 00:26, 22 December 2009 (UTC)
- They had weird characters after the name on the deletion sorting page. They don't show up in the edit window (you have to copy and paste to another program to spot them), they don't affect transclusions, I have no idea what they are or where they come from, and they confuse the bot. In short, they're a huge pain. Anyway I removed them, the bot should archive those debates correctly on its next pass. the wub "?!" 11:37, 22 December 2009 (UTC)
Bot problems
[edit]Just to note, I'm aware the deletion sorting bot is down. Hopefully I'll get it fixed tomorrow. the wub "?!" 01:06, 31 December 2009 (UTC)
