Fair use image
[edit]Hope to see you back soon, The wub! Anyways, I noticed that you had Image:Jyllands-Posten Muhammad drawings.jpg shown on your user page. The image is uploaded under a fair use provision, and Wikipedia policy states that fair use images should not be displayed on any pages outside the main (article) namespace, including user pages. Would you mind removing the image or simply linking to it? (Add a ":" in from of the image, like this: [[:Image:Jyllands-Posten Muhammad drawings.jpg]]) Thanks a lot! (That's the standard message I've been using, but if you're on a break and don't reply after a few days, I'll go ahead and take the liberty of removing it myself. Hope you don't mind.) Thanks, and come back soon! Flcelloguy (A note?) 21:19, 4 February 2006 (UTC)
- OK, I'm going to go ahead and change it to a link; I hope you don't mind. I hope to see you back soon! Flcelloguy (A note?) 00:56, 7 February 2006 (UTC)
- I wouldn't normally have have fair use images on my page, but I feel very strongly about this, and want to speak out. I seriously doubt they present any legal threat to Wikipedia, can you imagine JP trying to sue anyone over them? If you still feel it has to go though I won't get into an edit war over it. the wub "?!" 16:12, 7 February 2006 (UTC)
- Now you know I felt felt with the Democratic logo, my friend. But you're right, I stuck in there and hit my 2000th edit today :-) Thanks for believing in me. Karmafist 20:55, 8 February 2006 (UTC)
Not a Democracy
[edit]I don't support Wikipedia becoming a Democracy either, but rather a sociocracy, which we already have the rudiments of. I'm just trying to push it along with that petition of mine, so we can make sure that "catching Jimbo at a bad time" never hurts anyone like that ever again. Karmafist 15:09, 10 February 2006 (UTC)
Another Esperanzial note...
[edit]Hi again Esperanzians! Well, since our last frolic in the realms of news, the Advisory Council has met twice more (see WP:ESP/ACM2 and WP:ESP/ACM3). As a result, the charter has been ammended twice (see here for details) and all of the shortcuts have been standardised (see the summary for more details). Also of note is the Valentines ball that will take place in the Esperanza IRC channel on the 14th of February (tomorrow). It will start at 6pm UTC and go on until everyone's had enough! I hope to see you all there! Also, the spamlist has been dissolved - all Esperanzians will now recieve this update "newsletter".
The other major notice I need to tell you about is the upcoming Esperanza Advisory Council Elections. These will take place from 12:00 UTC on February 20th to 11:59 UTC on February 27th. The official handing-over will take place the following day. Candidates are able to volunteer any time before the 20th, so long as they are already listed on the members list. Anyone currently listed on the memberlist can vote. In a change since last time, if you have already been a member of the leadership, you may run again. Due to the neutrality precident, I will not vote for anyone.
Yours, as ever, Esperanzially,

But the Joe came back...
[edit]Don't know if you remember me, wub, but I was one of the "fallouts" from the userbox debaucle. Like you, I tried to stay away, but have decided to come back, albeit carefully and slightly grudgingly. --Joe Sewell (talk) 18:33, 13 February 2006 (UTC)
Hello!
[edit]Does blocking count as editing? :-) Anyway...I just unblocked the imposter account Kurps and reblocked everything...I must have done it right after you did it, because when I read the block log, I only saw you unblocking - I misinterpreted this as something else entirely. Anyway, thanks for catching that. --HappyCamper 00:50, 16 February 2006 (UTC)
Hmm...
[edit]Well if you did that, I'd suggest you take with you this jar of premium grade extra virgin olive oil: --HappyCamper 01:03, 16 February 2006 (UTC)
My user page
[edit]Hi. Thanks for the reverts you made to my user page. Cheers TigerShark 01:17, 17 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit]I'm sorry I was such a jerk at 1000, I miss you being amazed at my welcoming accomplishments.I miss that friendship of yours, and I hope you can come back from your work soon.
Also, on Template:2004Hillsborough19GeneralCourt, that is me. I wish there was a way I could prove it to you, but other than calling me or something, I just don't know how I could. I'll leave it alone for now, I'm not notable until I win. Karmafist 23:34, 19 February 2006 (UTC)
=Lol n00b
[edit]lol, It's alright, you can vote for me in my re-rfa if that ever happens :-P Those admin buttons feel like phantom limbs that I lost in a war or something lately... Oh well. Wikipedia's loss if it doesn't want me with the mop :-) Later buddy, thanks for cleaning up that little mess there on your page, Karmafist 20:41, 22 February 2006 (UTC)
Community Justice
[edit]Dear members of Community Justice,
This message is just a simple newsletter, telling you of some recent progress.
Community Justice didn't get as many members as we initially hoped, however we currently have 11, including a few sysops.
The temporary council is now fully set-up, and it will remain in it's current form unless someone contacts me (or uses the talk page) to say that they wish to join the council, or to hold a higher post. In this case, an election will be organised.
We have created two warning tags: {{civil1}} and {{civil2}}. These aren't been widely used, so I ask you to use them when you see fit.
Finally, thanks! Computerjoe 19:24, 25 February 2006 (UTC) (delivered in AWB).
My RFA
[edit]Thank you for supporting my successful request for adminship. I'll try to put the admin tools to good and responsible use. If I do anything wrong you know where to find me. Raven4x4x 08:41, 28 February 2006 (UTC)
Great law!

- Thanks. That page is probably one of my absolute favourites on Wikipedia, so much wisdom is gathered there. Your two laws are particularly great as well - especially the first one! the wub "?!" 12:02, 11 March 2006 (UTC)
Ignore the Arbitration
[edit]Worked well for him for a long time ;-) I expect they've already made up their minds irregardless of what I say, so I don't see the point in participating. Karmafist 03:43, 14 March 2006 (UTC)
FYI
[edit]The {{click}} template you created was nominated for deletion last week. --CBDunkerson 03:02, 15 March 2006 (UTC)
Articles you might like to edit, from SuggestBot
[edit]SuggestBot predicts that you will enjoy editing some of these articles. Have fun!
SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways, from comparing articles that need work to other articles you've edited, to choosing articles randomly (ensuring that all articles with cleanup tags get a chance to be cleaned up). It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. Your contributions make Wikipedia better -- thanks for helping.
If you have feedback on how to make SuggestBot better, please tell me on SuggestBot's talk page. Thanks from ForteTuba, SuggestBot's caretaker.
P.S. You received these suggestions because your name was listed on the SuggestBot request page. If this was in error, sorry about the confusion. -- SuggestBot 00:48, 21 March 2006 (UTC)

Thank you for supporting/opposing/commenting on my request of adminship, sadly the result was 54/20/7 an thus only 73% support votes, resulting in that the nomination failed. As many of you commenting that I have to few main-space edits, I'll try to better my self on that part. If you have any ideas on what kind of articles I could edit, pleas send me a line. :) | →AzaToth
