Thanks For Your Help On My User Page
[edit]I was kind of freaking out there, but your assistance was the first step towards finally fixing it later on when I was asking Titoxd for assistance. Hopefully TidyHTML will be working again soon enough. I figure if anything deserved a barnstar, that did, and tonight i'm going homemade. Therefore, please enjoy the company of my wild pet bear! Wikimedia UK
[edit]You have expressed an interest in Wikimedia UK. Just to let you know I've posted a draft Memorandum of Association and Articles of Association of the proposed "Wikimedia UK" charitable company on Wikimedia UK/Memorandum of Association and Wikimedia UK/Articles of Association. It is proposed that these will receive initial approval by interested parties at a meeting on 27 November. I will put together a brief agenda for the more formal aspects of that meeting soon. Memo and Arts of Association are a company's constitution, and need to be agreed before the company is formed (though they can be changed at a later date). Please feel free to comment on the relevant talk pages (I'd rather the proposed drafts are left unedited so that it is easy to see what is going on) - particularly if there is something there that you would disagree with at the meeting, details of which can be found on the Wikimedia UK page on Wikimedia Meta-Wiki. Kind regards, jguk 19:12, 15 November 2005 (UTC)

Hello. Round four of Wikipedia Mind Benders will open on Thursday, December 1. This round will be drastically different from round three; part one will consist of a creative project, and part two will be developed from there. The full details will be released when the round opens. Time and speed should not be major factors in this round; thus, there is no exact opening time for the round as speed will not factor into the scoring. Thanks! Flcelloguy (A note?) 22:52, 22 November 2005 (UTC)
P.S. Please add Wikipedia:Mind Benders/to do to your watchlist to receive further announcements; the NotificationBot is currently down and all notifications will be placed on that page. Sorry for any inconvenience.

The Smiths' "This Charming Man"
[edit]Hi. I noticed that you placed the sample of "There Is A Light That Never Goes Out" on the article about the Smiths. I was wondering if you could maybe upload a sample of "This Charming Man" and put it on the new article that I'm working on. It'd be much appreciated. Live Forever 19:57, 23 November 2005 (UTC)

[edit]What kind of a person would delete an article about a fun loving kid named Ben Marcotte because you think it is some attack on him? You make me sick and you need to think about what you do before you go ahead and delete a good article on a good man. I happen to know the real Ben Marcotte and the article is 100% true and it is in no way making fun of him. So for this Christmas Season please find it in your heart to put Ben Marcotte back on Wikipedia for all to enjoy.

RfA thanks from Deathphoenix
[edit]Hi wub,
I just wanted to thank you for supporting me in my RfA. To tell you the truth, I was surprised by all the support I've gotten. I never saw myself as more than an occasional Wiki-hobbyist.
My wife sends her curses, as Wikipedia will likely suck up more of my time. She jokingly (I think) said she was tempted to log on to Wikipedia just to vote Oppose and let everyone know that she didn't want her husband to be an admin.
It means a great deal to me to get a cliché vote from you. I'll make sure your trust in me is founded. --Deathphoenix 14:51, 28 December 2005 (UTC)
